Well, I'm glad you asked meet the G-613. It's tournament grade, mechanical, wireless and it lasts for months on a single charge. 'Game on!' and on and on and on and on and on and on And on I'm carrying too many phones right now HP's new omen X lineup comes equipped with Intel's seventh generation Core i7 processor Check it out at the link in the review description Even though it's part of their gamer G Series I

think the best way to describe the design of Logitech's G-613 is Utilitarian. It's got pretty much everything you need and Very little that you don't it rocks an understated two-tone gray finish with an integrated wrist rest Which is nice because you don't want that thing flopping around when you're on the go It's got six programmable macro keys, and then a handful of basic media keys Being Wireless it also has an on/off switch and these two buttons that let you switch between the Logitech Lightspeed receiver unit plugged into your computer and a supported

nearby bluetooth device like your phone, car, TV you get the point Bluetooth is a fairly ubiquitous standard And that's a nice thing to have let's talk typing. Logitech is using the same Omron co-developed Romer-G Switches as the G-910, but this time without the weird-shaped

key caps RGB lighting and the phone dock So it shouldn't be a surprise then that while the high tactile bump is a bit of an acquired taste Typing on it is actually a reasonably pleasant experience No complaints there at all. As for gaming logitech claims that thanks to the 2.4 Gigahertz light speed connection same as on the G-703 Mouse which you can check out here the short actuation distance of the Romer G switches and The fast onboard processing that the keyboard is over five times faster than Razer's wired BlackWidow v2 and Ed's opinion after gaming on it is, "It's fine , just fine" so Considering what a regular wired mechanical keyboard cost a few years ago. Not too bad for a hundred and fifty bucks That's progress, but that leads

us back to our original question How has it taken until twenty freaking seventeen for a major brand to release a wireless mechanical keyboard? Okay, so maybe it was a demand issue until the last few years Mechanical keyboards were a super niche item and even today most laypersons Don't know what they are so who would have been out there looking for a keyboard. That's both mechanical and Wireless, maybe it was cost the people looking for those features also had to be willing to pay for them and Considering that a cheap wireless keyboard can cost three times as much as a cheap wired one The fact that a basic mechanical keyboard is still a hundred bucks makes that potentially pretty scary math no No, actually I reject that we don't think it was demand or cost keeping wireless mechanical keyboards from hitting the
mainstream Clearly, if there are people out there buying individually handcrafted key caps Some of them would be willing to spend a few bucks for a completely wireless desk setup We think it was more to do with the limited Benefit of wireless for keyboards, I mean they just sit there and the compromises that were imposed Especially by older wireless technologies, but hold on a second Linus I mean the 2.4 gigahertz or Bluetooth wireless devices I have, have basically no noticeable latency aren't those good enough while I see your point "Basically" isn't

good enough. The people who buy mechanical keyboards are Enthusiasts. They care about registering a keystroke a fraction of a second earlier than their opponents and they're not about to sacrifice Those key benefits just to cut a cord that's usually out of the way anyway I mean who exactly is it out there that wants to charge a heavy-ass keyboard all the time for the

privilege of being able to pick it up and go sit on the couch to use it so that's What's changed here better than wired latency with up to 18 months of life on two regular double-a batteries There's even a pair included in the box and while Logitech's been super tight-lipped about exactly how their Lightspeed link actually works what we do know is that it's strong high decibel signal, one millisecond report rate and Supremely powerful efficient design is what enables this product's "No compromises performance" and endurance With that said no Compromises is in the eye of the beholder and while the cordless simplicity of the g613 will

appeal to some consumers Many enthusiasts will be unwilling to give up creature comforts like auxiliary screens pass-through USB ports built-in audio backlit keys and let's face it that sweet RGB nectar all Things that they could have at this price if they were willing to plug in a cord not to mention that they'd probably get better keycaps too. To say I was disappointed that the legend on a  keyboard uses cheapo stickers would be a gross understatement But come on - they got to keep the cost of this Revolutionary new product down somehow right right no. I mean to be clear by and large I like the product that I think a lot of people are gonna buy it But Logitech at risk of sounding like a broken record here You guys need to stop screwing up the

key caps on your Romer-G key switch products. This thing uses more durable double shots, and it's like 25 bucks Ankers Powercore 2 20,000 portable charger has a ton of great features including six amps of output dual inputs and the ability to Identify your device to deliver the fastest possible charge with what they're calling power IQ 2.0 It's ultra high capacity so it's like Days of power it charges the iPhone 7 over 6 times and with rapid recharge You can top up the battery in as little as 5 hours using a quick charge charger Buy one now and you'll get ankers power core 2 20,000 portable charger a micro USB Cable as well as a travel pouch welcome

guide and their worryfree 18 month warranty with friendly customer service They've currently got an amazon.com promotion going on where you can use code LTT power and save 15% Check it out at the link below

Logitech for this time upon taking over the box at first I've noticed that it's quite heavy and wide well in the next second after that I saw a wireless logger on the picture of a mechanical keyboard and then it hit me it's a wireless mechanical gaming keyboard turning it on to its other side the leaves that out feature said confirm my assumption and right after that I saw that the wireless capability is actually written on the box itself so I felt kind of dumb for a second for overlooking that simple notion right in front of me oh well it happens all of this is not the first wireless mechanical gaming keyboard available on the market this Logitech's g6 13 model is

definitely first one when we talk about more famous brands yes rocket has their solar model but it falls into a very specific segment I dug into the package right away and in here I found the newest B extension cable for the wireless receiver a really cool add-on in a form of a stand for your mobile phone or tablet some user manuals of course and the keyboard itself taking a closer look at it if you're familiar with logisitics product line you'll probably notice right away the design of the g6 13 is basically the same compared to the g2 13 prodigy series there is one noticeable visual difference in design though and that's the color scheme where this model has

the two-tone dark gray and black one instead of just being completely black now the only black part is the wrist rest which might I add is useful but not that comfortable on the long run in this case since it's made out of plastic I still do like its design it's very minimalistic and up-to-date with some glossy details on the side nuts over the top the build quality remains to be really good the ultra finish is nice to the touch and although it's completely made out of plastic it still delivers very rigid and sturdy construction beside the color difference another change can be found on the left half of the keyboard and those are the added programmable keys I'm really happy to see that Logitech decided to use them especially since they've basically build therapy

of the gaming lineup on them you also have a bunch of dedicated multimedia keys in the top right corner well on the side you can also see the toggle on and off switch for the keyboard beside it we have yet another toggle switch for enabling the gaming mode which is a welcomed improvement as before it there was just a regular button so it could be pressed accidentally left of it we have LED indicators for the caps lock and battery level while the right of that a Wi-Fi logos blinking button which indicates if you're connected to the receiver or not and another one with Bluetooth logo next to it does the same thing so yes you can also connect this keyboard to your Bluetooth enabled devices like for example a smartphone or a tablet even a laptop and use it for typing like so as you saw this stand which comes in the bundle actually comes in handy for

this scenario but most importantly Logitech probably provided so you can use it with their arcs control software utility which lets you monitor your PC stats set up game profiles check and control connected Logitech devices and so on turning it onto its back you'll see low rubber padding on the bottom edge basically throughout the whole width of the keyboard and two on the top in each corner together with stand of feet down here you'll also find a cover underneath which we have a spot for two AAA batteries and a storage space for the receiver as expected the G 6 13 carries logitech's mechanical switches called romaji which were in-house developed in collaboration with auburn i've already encountered these switches before a bunch of times last time on the really cool-looking Logitech G 413 model feel free to check it out in the right top

corner at the current link so I knew what to expect from them right away from the get-go as I said before personally I'm not that fond of them when it comes to typing since they only need 45 grams of actuation force and that's combined with a very short actuation distance of just 1.5 millimeters on the other hand because of those specifications they are really good for gaming purpose very fast to respond although they do kind of leave you with a damned feel and salt I'm okay with that in general because I know that there cannot be a universal switch that will satisfy everyone that's why cherry has a couple of different switches but I wish Logitech made at least one more type of reverse switch which could cater other portion of users in terms of it being a wireless mechanical keyboard and how does it perform I didn't have any complaints

whatsoever starting from the range which I made her to be around 10 meters but it's not like you're going to use it like that well my subjective impression is that it performs just as fast as a wired one that's no wonder as it uses Logitech slight speed technology which lowers down the wireless latency to just one millisecond just as seen on their G 900 Mouse which was actually first to introduce this technology I'm actually also set to do review of their G 603 Gaming Mouse released together with this keyboard which is also wireless and also supports light speed technology while being pretty affordable so be sure to stick around looking at the key caps you can see that we have letter stickers on them which right away indicates that we don't have

backlighting for a lamp and that can also be confirmed by looking at the switch itself it's hollow as you can see it here and without any LEDs this is not a surprise to be honest as the battery wouldn't last that long with them or you will have to charge it frequently the only improvement I can see which could bring that feature onto this model is to either have a possibility of optional connection for the keyboard using the USB cable together with either a larger integrated battery or an option to charge your rechargeable double-a batteries of larger capacity speaking of that logic lanes they should last up to 18 months depending on the use case but it's obviously not something to be worried about as for the Logitech Gaming software
utility everything is as seen from before I assume a lot of you already had a chance to cross paths with it and as you can see here the options are pretty much the same as with any other logisitics gaming product here you can set up your profiles reprogram those G keys determine what keys are getting switched off in gaming mode check your heat map and of course check the battery level of the keyboard everything said and considered it's steep but not surprising 150 dollar price tag can be justifiable to a certain extent for most of its potential buyers I do see some room for future improvements but honestly the market for these is not that big so users

who are looking to buy a wireless mechanical gaming keyboard will put it on a short list for sure that's it guys for this time from me

Logitech G613 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard review

the Logitech G 6 1/3 wireless gaming keyboard now yes straight away you're gonna be like whoa wireless mechanical and gaming don't go in a phrase together I was very much like you in terms of my perception of it until I tried the g6 one three so let's get into it first of all inside the box which is over here you're gonna find that the keyboard itself the keyboard has also a an extender USB extender which is useful for those who have like pcs or have a setup for example a wireless a media center you've got a small little Logitech dongle which you're gonna need for the six one three and I'll get into its connectivity section in just a bit so you can plug it back into

my PC as you could probably hear right there and you've also got a smart phone stand which is very elegant very nice and you might be wondering why again why do you have a smart phone stand and I'll get into that in just a bit now I want to talk about quickly the build quality of the keyboard itself so the keyboard is actually very elegant it's got no backlighting unfortunately so you have to bear that in mind underneath the keyboards you've got rubber bits which prevent it from sliding around a nice kind of textured design which is quite cool you've got a battery compartment over here which takes two double-a batteries which come included and a slot for your little USB dongle the quoted battery life is 18 months I can't abide I can't basically verify that but that's what Logitech say and you've got the keyboard risers which well basically bring the keyboard up at an angle now the keyboard itself has an included wrist rest it can't be

detached unfortunately but it's very much easy it's very nice to a type on and very nice to arrest your wrist on and it also has like a non-slip surface which is also a non fingerprint magnet which is great now the keyboard has a six programmable Logitech G keys over here these are programmed through the Logitech Gaming software you'll need to download the latest gaming software which you'll find via Logitech sites very easily and they work flawlessly as they do on my Logitech g7 100 plus which is yes over there painted in a Lamborghini Murcielago yellow now on the right hand side you've got a few interesting switches first of all game mode which is a pretty nice little toggle it's not a button it's a little toggle and that basically disables the

Windows key from being actuated you've got a wireless button and a Bluetooth button so yes you've got Wireless and Bluetooth connectivity with this keyboard and I must say it works flawlessly I'm going to show you in just a bit and you've got dedicated media control keys over here which is great to see and there's no FN key of sorts because you're not going to need that you've got two eliminations at the top over here which are used for the battery indicator and the caps lock key if as you can see over there now the keyboard itself uses two types of connectivity Bluetooth and wireless light speed wireless technology now light speed is a

trademark technology by Logitech which essentially as quoted by Logitech brings a one millisecond not response time but a one millisecond speed to operations which is a report rate sorry in other words you're not gonna experience any sort of delay between typing on a mechanical gaming keyboard which is Wireless like this one or a wired one from my experience I have always found wireless gaming keyboards to have a slight delay somewhere or another in this case the g6 one three does a fantastic job I didn't notice any sort of delay and the keys actuated fantastically and came up without any delay on my screen and that comes from me being a heavy typist while heavy type is a typist and writing lots of reviews and I found that I

did the keys weren't being they weren't being coming up late so even with a fast typing speed which you know you know affect gamers who are like RTS gamers like dota legal legend gamers or even FPS gamers using WASD you're not gonna notice any sort of delay at least from my purse experience I didn't notice any sort of delay now the wireless technology is what gonna get with a Lightspeed it's a button you're gonna click over here and it'll enable the wireless technology the wireless technology is what gives you like a Lightspeed Wireless you're gonna need a little dongle in order to have that if however you do not have the little dongle on you or you don't want to use it anyone use bluetooth you can activate the Bluetooth button now I just want to show you how quickly this works which is insane and that's why I wanted to bring my phone into play because it connects up to my phone instantaneously now bluetooth on my

phone and I've previously paired the phone with the keyboard it asks you for a pairing code you type out the pairing code on the on the top over here press enter and it automatically connects very easy to do I hit the Bluetooth key and pretty much within seconds it's already paired you can see over here it's already typing now I click the wireless key it disconnects it from Bluetooth and it's already on my PC responding there that's how quick that technology works is literally within seconds and I haven't really come across many devices be it smart phone headphones cars speakers or keyboards to actuate is that fast and it's absolutely insane I love that so you can use Bluetooth and this is great for if you want to use it on your smart phone if you want to use it on your laptop if you want to use it on I don't know your your TV of sorts
it has bluetooth functionalities then you can do so it works without any sort of problem and the range is really good too so what I like about this keyboard is is multi connection and the multi functions that you can have with it it's a really small thing to actually have for a gamer but it's actually very useful for those of us that would use it on you and will utilize it now let's talk about performance now we talked about its wireless delay it's very low I didn't really notice much of a problem being a really competitive gamer to someone who types a hell of a lot of very impressed with that but then how did the key switches feel themselves now inside the keys you know if I can try and get one out over here with just my bare hands I know I feel like Bear

Grylls but no it's not going to come out because it's just going to be a pain or I can get my cat and beat and take it out there you yeah I know crimson web looks great anyway this is using the roam where G switches now the Roma G switches are Logitech's own proprietary mechanical switches I've previously seen this before and you can see over here it's got a different stem from MX cherry MX stem so therefore you can't use your beautiful little key claps that you might have over here with a cherry MX stem to use them on this g6 1 3 so g6 yeah g6 1/3 releasing name losing count with the names so yeah the key switch the key caps themselves have got a relative weight to it they're not too light they're well made in terms of plastic I am always a little bit concerned about this romaji switch I haven't really tested romaji

switches for a long prolonged usage and unfortunately if my camera would like to adjust its focus would be great anyway there's the switches have a little prongs around the side and to me that kind of makes me a little bit worried because if it comes to replacing the keys then you can't just go for a Cherry MX and set you have to buy romaji switches which can be hard to find now the switches themselves are actually very very light in terms of typing now I'm going to go quite so you guys can hear how it sounds I know a bit of ragequitting right there and keyboard warrior pro but what I'm trying to show you right there is how loud the switch actually goes and how it sounds in terms of how it sounds I have no problems with it it's relatively quiet it's got sort of like a tactile esque feel to it and it actuate very well have no problems with that great for gaming great for typing as well in terms of how it sounds on the

keyboard itself despite being made out of a pure plastic there is no keyboard flex and therefore even if you're a heavy typist so you can see like rage quitting or bashing Internet Explorer for being crap then you'll be able to tell that there is no sort of bouncing of the keyboard that occurs which is great so that is pretty much it in terms of performance it's a great time get great keyboard to type on and a great keyboard to game on as well no complaints whatsoever and with its connectivity it's fantastic now it's price is a hundred and thirty pounds if I'm not mistaken in the UK 130 pounds which makes it relatively expensive you might be thinking well that's pretty high but you must think about the technology you're getting and everything that comes with it you've got Bluetooth you've got the wireless technology which is really good

you've got dedicated media keys you've got dedicated a programmable keys included wrist rest a myself smartphone understand and a keyboard that actually really feels nice and actually performs very well as well for typists and gamers alike so overall what do I think of keyboard fantastic it's a great keyboard it's approved by Yoda himself so I would definitely suggest it and that's coming from someone who's very much a anti wireless guy well a guy that really is

scrutinizes wireless technology to the fullest and someone who loves using a mechanical keyboard both at work and at home every single day and I can definitely tell you this is really impressed me massive thumbs up from me alright guys.
