I have to be honest with you guys I was very skeptical of Cooler Master delivering on their promises with the mm710 we even trolled them at Computex by bringing a scale to their booth and measuring the weight but since its arrival to my mouse mat I'm happy to report it has not left all right so I have three pieces of good news for you number one the mm 710 is available to purchase today for  this is no longer on the pre-order and that leave links below number two it is an awesome alternative to the glorious Model O that some people might find too small

as the mm710 is wider and it's definitely more accessible and affordable than the overhyped final Mouse ultralight tube and for number three today's review sponsor privacy comm keeps your mind at ease from credit and debit card theft with the use of their virtual cards so you never share your personal info when making purchases online more on that later so if you're looking into the mm 710 you're probably interested in that super light form factor and this

thing is only 53 grams and I think it would definitely give you an advantage for FPS games and you probably want something small too as this is one of the smallest mice in my collection now I am coming from the model oh and that thing feels like an elephant now but a more appropriate size comparison is the G Pro from Logitech that is about the same length and width at its widest point as the mm710 it is a very comfortable shape for my hand size with not too aggressive top curve so it doesn't feel too flat and for my hybrid grip everything just feels well in place and

despite the ambidextrous shell the thumb buttons are only for the right hand it does come in four colors but those are not available just yet and to keep the weight as low as possible there is no illumination now in comparison to the model o that is the same price  and just like the heavier you do get that awesome side and interior light spill but to be honest I'm really into this whole matte black set for my desk top and because of the exposed nature of the shell internal components are coated for protection against dust and moisture I do want to address

some build quality concerns from the early units so the primary buttons right now still exhibit a little bit of wobble but not as severe as before it looks like the side shell has been reinforced because pressing into them no longer activates the side switches but unfortunately that internal rattle that everyone else also has experienced is still present on my retail unit I have no complaints on button placement or feel the scrollwheel is excellent with defined steps and light middle-click the DPI shift is tucked away from accidental presses the thumb buttons have

satisfying tactility and softness when pressed and primary switches have that fast travel to feel really similar to my model oh so excellent all around the feet are white PTFE with super smooth glide this is smoother than my model oh the Razer viper or the g pro while the cable is their ultra weave cable for Wireless like feel it is awesome and finally the sensor is a Pixar 3389 so you have seven dpi levels at one hundred dpi increments with two lift off distance adjustments and surface calibration in the software and I've had nothing but pleasure using this and games

and initially yes it was a bit too light as I'm coming from a much larger model O at 67 grams but the 53g body kind of became part of my hand for easy across her navigation and just told really natural to use to stay on target and apply whatever aim directional shooting speed and the only reason why this might not be a good fit for you is if you find it too light and you prefer something heavier to give you a little bit extra stability when you aim and if also the shape is somehow not for you it's either too large or doesn't accommodate your grip well and I'm

actually quite surprised at how similar this thing feels to my G Pro from Logitech and just how uncomfortable the model of - feels in comparison to the mm710 now the good thing is the mm710 is available to purchase today and it's relatively inexpensive

watch this highlight clip from 2017 it's with the master mouse s there were some build quality issues and the cable wasn't good plus it even had a 13 gram weight in it but I felt like a good aim are better than this Aoi FK - this is how important shape is despite all the problems I still loved using it ever since then I was asking cool master to remake it the shape deserved another try I was starting to think we would never see it but thankfully they've brought it back and

after listening to community feedback they've taken it to a level I didn't even expect before we get into it I just want to point out some Mouse feet have plastic covers to protect them they're pretty easy to remove just use your fingernail very gently and you should know if they're on there by the feel if it doesn't quite easily compared to your other Mouse then you should check I don't see it too often these days but all copies of this mouse have had them and the box is really

basic just some Elsa and some replacement feet I actually really like the simplicity now here it is the cool master mm 710 in black and white and glossy and matte finish it's a small Mouse with a symmetrical shell and buttons on the left only super-lightweight had 54 grams with a bit of cable a top optical 3389 sensor and an amazingly smooth flexible cable this is a top Mouse clearly and I think this shape could suit a lot of people it has usual curved sides for comfort and

grip for picking it up slight come for curves in the buttons but where it's different to most is the back so from the side you can see that's where the hump is the height is about 3.8 centimeters and from the back you can see it's fairly flat on top with curves on the sides also the back section is actually about five point six centimeters which feels quite wide what does this mean it means it should fill your hand better and it's a very versatile shape suiting multiple grip styles I personally like to have a part of my palm touching the back here but I think it's a grip if you

clog grip but also like to rust your palm on the back this also works really well and of course palm grip - my hands are about 18 by 9 centimeters this mouse is slightly too big for me because the grip width is about 5.45 centimeters while the length is about 11.5 based on the three finger roll and middle finger plus knuckle I want the grip width to be about five point three centimeters and length ten point eight you can check your own and compare them that's for best aim without going to uncomfortable still this would suit hands up to about 19

centimeters in palm and claw palm grip maybe up to 20 centimeters in claw grip and fingertip grip it really depends on what you like here it is next to some other my so you get a general idea of the size too and now from underneath and also beside so we could call this a small Mouse pretty much in the range of the Zowie s2 and Logitech G 3:05 but personally I actually like this shape better than both of those and as I said it's much lighter at 54 grams with a bit of cable a lot of people are finding that they aimed that too with lighter mice so if you have the choice

between or three I would definitely choose this one in fact other than the ultra light - this would be my choice especially with these new cables super light super soft super flexible it makes them feel almost Wireless even as such a lightweight it barely moves when I push on the cable and the cable is about 1.88 meters long so about 6 foot 2 inches the mouse feet feel quite fast although there is some scratching at times I'm not sure from what may be because the feed don't seem

tapered or maybe because they're so thin then any pressure you put on the top of the mouse you could sink it into the pad and actually cause the shelter scratch that might wear in over time but so far it hasn't actually been a problem not in game anyway just something I thought I'd mention other than that you have a light nice white cable and fast feet I think this is going to take a while to adjust to you might want to lower your sensitivity for a week or so unless you're using a Zowie GSR pad which has enough control to counter that all sounds quite good so far

but I want to bring our build quality we'll start with the button sound check I used to say I wanted left and right separate from the shell to avoid the shell flexing unfortunately we're now getting a lot of mass with buttons wobbling this is pretty normal only a few companies have worked out how to do it properly coolermaster isn't one of them yet so they might do better to go back to the other design for now but I think this is okay especially considering how cheap it

is if you get one with this much wobble that should be fine but more than this and it affects you in-game then yes probably best to send it back I'll leave that up to you they feel pretty good otherwise and I snap to them no pre trouble but can't feel the wobble sometimes in this post travel but that's on a lot of nice too and the switches are rated for twenty million clicks the wheel is a bit harder depressing but I could do it without accidentally scrolling and there are steps what feeling smooth I quite like this wheel it's good in general use and gaming the side

buttons are angled which isn't great if you press them directly from the side but if you just till your thumb up a bit like this they're quite good not too much travel on them either it's a decent click the DPI button is tiny and out of the way so that's good too pretty happy with all of them but as always they could be improved as for latency they may have the formula ii d bouncer because it's basically that much behind the logitech g930 3 in the bomb test and I found it more difficult to get consistent lower scores for there - it was finding game much like glorious model

Oh but I think companies have to figure something out about latency now the build my Mac copies appear to creak and crack a little more than my gloss copies it's not too bad but I would suggest not pressing too hard on them when tapping and shaking them there are rattles on all my copies the Mossville cable area lens maybe who knows so they could definitely work on this and even increase the price if they fix it it's not a deal-breaker I'm still happy using them but

for such an outstanding Mouse it is a shame that it doesn't have better construction I know they work on it and I know it's hard and it's not that bad but I have to point these things out in reviews again for such a lightweight assets a low price I think we can mostly forgive these minor issues it's just a plastic all over you have the choice of white coating the matte is slightly textured and from talking to people it depends on the climate your own I prefer gloss in a slightly humid climate if you're in a dry cold climate you might want to go for matte glossy

black usually shows fingerprints pretty badly but I didn't see them until I put a bright light on them so this one's pretty good considering matte white might get dirty I don't know yet my usual picks would be matte black or gloss white as for cleaning usually just a microfiber cloth and for inside you can get an air blower like this but usually in photography kids the holes were in the shape of the cooler master logo which are pretty big so they're noticeable but not too bad as for software there's none of this stage apparently it's coming later but the DPI settings for

now are 400 800 1200 1630 260 416,000 the sensors are so good these days said barely worth talking about it is the 3389 arguably one of the bests not that anyone would really know the difference and you can see my testing in the review linked in the description but as you see in game tracking is great flicks on point can't make a lose track even trying to till slam it everything is solid the liftoff distance is under a DVD and the line test shows it's all good - I

tested on multiple pads to make sure it was fine and yeah no problem there the sensor position is a little toward the back I've seen some people say bother sir although I'm not quite sure why it's very close to center even more so than the master mass s to conclude as I've been saying lately I love where we're at with gaming mice now very lightweight designs great shapes amazingly flexible cables seemingly flawless optical sensors low latency and lots of features this is easily one of the best mice ever made but as always it comes down to what you like if you

missed out on the ultra light - this would have been my next choice and it's much cheaper so this one is definitely worth looked for hands about 19 centimeters but US has not much choice for smaller hands you should definitely look at this one - and it's just one of those my staff feels good to use I actually really love using it although I don't aim the best with it anymore it is very comfortable for me and as I said if the ultra light ooh didn't exist this would be my main but I

do focus on aim when I'm choosing a mouse so while this does have issues I would forgive them all because this would still be my best choice and again it's really cheap I think they're listing it at about $ in the US but it's only $ in Australia that's a strolling dollars for comparison the ultra light 2 is about $$ again that's Australian so really cheap mouse amazing features if you're on a budget and you're in the market for a smaller mouth this is a top

recommendation so shout out to the cool master team that worked on this one it's not perfect but it's really impressive and it's great to see job well done

Cooler Master MM710 53G Gaming Mouse with Lightweight Honeycomb Shell review

coolermaster will hold that title with the sub 53 gram mp7 10 as far as I know this is the widest gaming mouse on the market or almost on the market as it still is in production and after spending a bit of time with today I'll let you know what you can expect but firstly a big thanks to msi for making this Computex trim possible you can check out their latest range of Intel based motherboards in the link in the description so to start with this gaming mouse isn't aimed at casual gamers who play a little bit of this and a little bit of that clever master are targeting

competitive first-person shooter enthusiasts who want the widest and therefore fastest gaming mouse that they can wield so this is the mp7 10 they're planning on releasing this to the market in the coming months for just $ u.s. so officially putting final mouse at heart of business now they don't have an official weight measurement just yet one call Master rep said that is fifty one point five grams another said fifty three grams the spec sheet says 55 grams the point is it's super super light this thing feels incredibly surreal and weird to hold you kind of get the

deception that it feels cheap because cheap products are usually really light plastic but this mouse does actually have quite a few things going forward and in many ways it does feel pretty premium to start with it's using a Pixar 3389 sensor which is top of the line and Omron switches for the left and right mouse buttons speaking of which they do feel nice and light at least on the model that I have played around with here the left and right mouse clicks do have a bit of pre travel which is basically the slight distance before they properly actuate the switch

again this isn't the final model just my first impressions with the pre-production model ideally this would be a little bit more dialed in for the final model in my opinion one thing that I do feel strongly about and that is pretty much a deal-breaker for me at this point is that the left side buttons are incredibly stiff again this is a pre-production model but I do hope that coolermaster dial this in for the final product because otherwise every other button feels pretty solid and light the scroll will also felt like to actuate and not too stiff to scroll with as well so no

complaints here at all which is a big relief scroll wheels aren't an easy thing for Mouse companies to get right so it's good to sequel master at least a legend for this pre-production model now it is an ambidextrous shape for both left and right-handed users with the side buttons on the left side and this is a small mouse in towards those who prefer a claw grip or a fingertip grip the hump is pushed towards the back of the mouse to further accommodate this more arched claw grip style there is also a slight taper in the middle of the mouse for grip of

course to reduce the weight below 55 grams Coolermaster are jumping on the honeycomb cutout train here and they truly have gone all in there are cutouts literally everywhere on the mouse except where you'll be making contact with your fingertips so no cutouts towards the front side or towards the edges of the left and right mouse buttons so that's good to see the coating is a matte finish that will be available in either white or black I personally think the black model looked the most premium now the cord is going to be make-or-break and cool a

masterwork quick to mention that the cord here on these models isn't going to be on the final production model and that they're going to be moving to something a lot softer and lighter fingers crossed they do go for something like the glorious model Oh or even just a superlight plastic cable the Logitech are doing the cable on these models wasn't really stiff now of course I can't comment on comfort or handling or anything like that because it's a show floor

environment but I will say that Coolermaster have got a ton of things right with the mp7 10 on the pre-production model the buttons feel nice and light the scroll wheel feels pretty solid and dialed in it's only the heavy cord and the stiff side buttons that need to be addressed before release if they really want to challenge what glories are going to do next they did mention that there will be an MP 711 coming as well which basically just adds in an RGB logo and mouse

wheel that one will likely be a little over 60 grams and they said it's an additional overall I'm pretty keen to test out the mp7 10 and I'm interested to hear everyone's thoughts on this one down below as there has been quite a lot of hype around this mouse as always
the coolermaster and then 710 light weight Gaming Mouse now we're talking 53 grams of light weight right here and this tiny bells comes in a tiny box as well let's check it out you know I feel like I got to give a disclaimer before I review something that's not very positive you know some

people just don't like the honesty you know what I mean you're the bad part about this as well I just shot my email with my info and everything - Coolermaster to review some of their products I'm probably just burning that resume right now but again as you all know what I strive for

here is honesty I'm not chasing a dollar sign not chasing the sponsorship or anything like that we're spending our  bucks here right which is a great price number one but I want to make sure that you're aware of what you're spending your $$ on that's all I try to do here is help you out and let you be aware of what you're buying you know what let's kick it off the positives first alright less that's what we'll do here number one is coming in at 53 grams I think that's the lightest lightweight Mouse we have seen yet right and it is extremely light R so as far

as dimensions on the Coolermaster mm 7/10 right here 216 millimeters long thirty-eight point three millimeters tall right there and then sixty-two point six millimeters wide alright so as far as those dimensions right there I'd recommend a foot weight actually no I wouldn't recommend it I would say it's built more towards right there we go built more towards fingertip and claw grip right there it's got a very pronounced hump right here in the back so you can bring it back and get some palm if you want but as you can see your fingers are gonna be hanging off the

edge but again I'd say it's definitely built for that fingertip or maybe a claw grip right there now talking to the mentions in the lightweight right there the cable really comes into play with that as well yeah the ultra weave cable here and it feels very similar to the Razer Viper as you can see yep get pretty close to make it move it's very nice it's raised up a little bit off of the mousepad right there as you can see and again you got to get pretty close to get it to move it's a

very very nice cable and as far as the sensor is using a picsArt 3389 sensor right there spot-on I really don't have any issues with any sensors ease Dave but that's what it's using all right so that's that's that that's the good do you think that was good enough to impress coolermaster let me start reviewing some of their products I don't know let's get into the dirty here and where I want to start here is the sound test I'm not saying the sound test is bad there's just some other

things I want to show you within the build and the buttons while we're doing the sound test let's check this out so again that stores a sound test right there it's not bad it sounds very nice and crispy the side button sound a little bit more hollow I guess you'd say you know but they all feel pretty good but what I want to do is focus on some things a little bit closer here so when I bring in here just kind of pay attention to these other other issues I'm going to show you so the first

thing I want to show you is with your left and right mouse click right here number one I'm gonna show you the left click now listen to the right click here alright so were you guys able to hear that kind of creaking whenever I press down on the right click there now I am not pressing hard by any means no that's what people are gonna say who's gonna press it that hard right but again when you press down and get down on it right there it starts creaking really bad

and that only happens on the right button not the left one here and one other thing I want to show you as far as the button presses as well kind of focus right up here in the middle part whenever I press I'm not sure how well the camera can pick that up but it bulges up here right in the middle but that's not it whenever you press on the inside right here if your fingers closer to the scrollwheel checkout on the side here I mean look at that thing like what the heck is going on here I've never seen that before now one last thing as far as the buttons every that's really

weird know I've seen button travel within the front mouse clicks here on many mice I mean every has a little bit this one doesn't have any more or any less than any other one I've tested but it's really weird is this one goes forward and back this does not affect you while using it in game or anything like that it was just weird cuz again I've never seen a mouse button go forward and back like that last thing I want to point out is the scroll wheel right here and the weird thing about this check this out here push it to the left and it stays push it to the right

alright and the last thing I want to point out here which you all know right I'm gonna squeeze this mouse just like I've done with oh hi Heather honeycomb Mouse or any other mice reviews right but this is hands down the worst flex I've seen in the mouse yet worse than the model oh when it first came out worse than the model oh right now I mean this thing is horrible check this out that's on both sides I mean you can see the plastic going in there and yes it activates the buttons now this next issue is gonna vary per hand size i have medium to large hands now as

you can see we're flat up here and then we have that honeycomb right and you can see the mouse button kind of comes here and then BAM it cuts down right there so number one with all that travel we just had right there if your hand is up here you end up going into that kind of palm grip style your finger is gonna be right there kind of blocking that mouse button to move it does a picture or catch you or anything like that but again you just got that little bit of

friction from your finger right there the other thing I want to touch on is the holes in this mouse now I think it's really cool how they made the holes look just like the Coolermaster logo as you can see right there really cool touch I really do like that but where you get again this is that fingertip you know maybe you get that claw in there but mainly fingertip right so you're gonna have to keep your hands right up here as you can see my pinky comes down BAM and that

would be my position right there but as you can see if I screw back just a little bit here BAM my fingers are right up on those holes and those holes are gigantic definitely the biggest we have seen in any lightweight Mouse and your pinky just kind of locks right in there and it is not cozy after a little game time right there as you can see I've got the Coolermaster logo on me right now so as far as those holes we're a really big like that again the design and the thought process

behind it I think is just super cool I think that's awesome but I think it would have been nice if there may be whole side of flat plastic right there because again if your fingers get up in there it is not comfortable at all so you gotta got to make sure and keep in mind okay let me keep my fingers right up here towards the front so now I know the hates gonna start on Leisha right with our Coolermaster fans our fans from the house here right but again I can't stress it enough this should not have left the factory and went on sale like this no way whatsoever I'm talking

with all those flaws right there with the buttons that scroll wheel this flexes incredibly horrible as you just saw right there even if you're getting a fingertip or claw right there they still activate and it still flexes I'm gonna feels like a complete piece of junk alright so I want to bring it back to the sensor real quick here again it's using that 3389 precise spot on sensor you have your dpi selection up here and again you have those seven preset dpi is in there but you have no

indicator light on this guy you do have software that let me show you real quick alright so as you can see we are now in the coolermaster software here first off right here we have the buttons where you can adjust all your buttons right here it's light over here the performances where you adjust all your stuff your a response time you're snapping your dpi over here now these are the preset DPI's within the mouse where as I showed you with the mouse button earlier and you have about seven steps right here but I can't figure out how to oh dear I just

click the other one I cannot figure out how to disable them so again you kind of just have all them right there maybe set all of them to the exact same speed if you like that but again it's kind of a stinker that you can't disable them again because there's no indicator light with on the mouse they're also surface calibration right over here as well over here you can adjust the Mac as you desire and then you also have other profiles to set right there now right over here you have mouse combo which as you can see activate their spirits can give you like two layers with

Omni Mouse so you can put like I don't know audio controls here or something like that you know what I mean BAM a then get back to your game right over here alright so as far as that software right there really nice you got a lot of options to adjust and everything but again going back to that dpi I never seen no indicator light I couldn't find out in the software how to just or disabled some of those other steps right there so again I'd have to go in there and just set all seven steps to the exact same dpi which is just like why come on all right so now that I've burned every single possible chance I had to work with Coolermaster which is really stinks I

really like a lot of coolermaster stuff especially some of their cases you know but uh hey we got to be honest but anyways the number one question you're probably asking amen how about the model o- then all right so as far as you thinking about going with the model Oh - I don't want to make this comparison here just kind of showing you a couple quick differences I'm with the end mm 7 10 right here as you can see the hump is really far in the back with the o - is kind of right here in the middle and it sits down a little bit as you see in some of these close-ups here right

now as far as the o - yes it does have the sidewall press right there but as they have fixed it with the you know rollouts and whatnot you still do have it back there but you got it press very hard now on a model o - and honestly I reviewed the model of - when I check it out and leave right down there in the description I really recommend this mouse right now I really like it I don't even use tiny mice but this one just feels really good again loops in right there buttons are placed really nice and again it sits right there and it feels pretty durable these days again this

thing is just like and it's not the lightweight that's making it feel cheap it's all the creaking and the shakin and the moving around and the side press flex and all that stuff that makes it feel cheap so yes 100% if you turn to bait just between these two I would tell you all day long go with the O - but if you're just looking to get into the lightweight Mouse market right there definitely check this one out here this is the extra Phi M for Gaming Mouse right here this is the one I highly highly recommend fantastic solid build right there nice ergo shape very lightweight I'm talking perfection I also reviewed this one which I'm going to leave right down in a link

there as well so you're probably thinking now like man what are you doing are you reviewing the MM 710 are you reviewing these other two mice I'm not gonna leave a single link right down in the description for this mouse know Amazon link or anything like that so I'm not trying to bank off this piece of mouse here trying to be nice trying to piece on the house you know anyways I'm not gonna leave any links down there for this guy but I really delink for these videos down there as well and I highly recommend these guys not gonna have any affiliate links on these as by the way right there you know this one I could make money off this one on

Amazon if I decided to but I'm sorry that's not what I do here I don't chase dollar sighs I'm not gonna recommend something to you just cuz it's hot you know hyped up new product out there I mean this thing is just I'm sorry I can't recommend this at all even it  I still would not recommend it so hey let me know down in the comments what you think about this mouse there did you pick it up I know a lot of people been looking forward to I know some of you commented before that you are picking it up and you're looking forward to you know I

know a lot of people gonna say oh hey man it's just my copy that I got or you know who's gonna press it that hard you know you don't have to press this one hard and no this is a retail copy this wasn't sent out to me by any means so no I shouldn't have received a copy like this
