Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2666 MHz DDR4 DRAM Desktop Gaming Memory BLS8G4D26BFSEK

Kable mod power cord power supply direct replacement kits are now available for coolermaster v-series power supplies hey guys it's TTL back another rush kit video for you and today we're going to be taking a look at the Crucial Ballistix ddr4 where they call this sport kits but here's the packaging that they came out of and it's a 16 gigabyte kit 2 x 8 gigabyte 2400 megahertz and it's 1.2 volts now I've already taken them out of the packaging I'm going to

move this other one out the way so that the focus in doesn't get confused at any point but they've got this lovely white and grey digital camo down the sides we spin them over we can see that we've got the label with some information on that side and then on this side we can see that the timings are 16 16 16 39 at 1.2 volts so that's your timings but most important things to point out is these are the first white ddr4 kits that I've seen released they're available at overclockers

this kit that I've got is  for the 16 gigabyte and that's 8 gigabyte x 2 but I'll put the link underneath for you to be able to have a look at them and overclockers because they've got other kits with their 4 dims it for items sake if you wanted to fill all your slots up or maybe possibly you've got an X 99 rig that you were considering these for now they're not the fastest ddr4 kits available to the point where we can obviously get ddr3 kits like this but you know as

far as ddr4 goes the the price is still pretty competitive but also we've there 8 gigabyte sticks they're white and they are the first white ones that I've seen and I'm actually going to be using these in my said 170 deluxe oh look now this is going to be the basis of my server build it was called wd-40 and previously it was on said 97 we're now going to be going on to Zedd 170 this is an i3 6300 T in here as well now we are talking about the memory but the whole point was to

show it to you in the z170 deluxe like I said it's the first of the white DRAM sticks that I've seen if you have a look that the PCB is white as well cephus is an off-white compared to the heatsink but nevertheless it does look the part in the DLX as I like to call it it's going to look the part obviously we're going to be hanging a huge well not huge we're going to be hanging a red card off of this for the main without the video so there's your Crucial Ballistix white so if you're

thinking about doing a white themed build or you need some white accent at the moment the ballistics are the ones that you want to be getting well it's the only choice that you've got at the moment we honestly don't know whether we're going to be seeing any other colors either from other manufacturers so it might be the only chance that you get .

with the ever-increasing prices of memory especially there for kids we have to take into consideration every aspect of the ramp if we want to have the best performance and value for money option in this case we have the brand new ballistics tactical 16 gigabyte EDR for from crucial running at around 20 666 megahertz from the factory this kit is available on retailers such as Amazon  so what are the statical specifications of this kit of memory first let's start with the beginning the factory timings are CLS 16 17 17 46 running a

t 1.2 volts before we go further into the overclocking part of this video let's take a look at the overall design of these RAM modules but tactical use a two-part hissing attached to the mobile memory chips with the help of a self-adhesive thermal pad that goes right across the PCB the heat same design is simpler there are a set of indents on each side of the RAM stick with subtle white branding logos I also have to mention that these kids are not RGB in any way or form if you want RGB in this configuration you need to have the ballistics tactical tracer of course the

biggest design feature that remains from the ddr3 ballistic tactical ramp is the perforated hissing at the top of the sticks these have no function other than the aesthetics of the RAM however the slight bending inwards reduces the overall footprint of the RAM when it's installed thus allowing for more low-profile CPU coolers to be installed easily now that we go the aesthetic out of the way let's talk overclocking and what this Ram kit is capable of doing when paired with an AMD horizon 17 100x CPU Ram overclocking is similar with CPU overclocking

however it involves more variables to be changed in order to get a better experience about this subject I highly recommend watching Steve from gamers next to the video about rhyme timings and why they should matter you can find it in the description below now how about those overclocking results you say well in my case I was able to get this round kid from up to 20 66 60 Hertz up to 3000 megahertz without much issue but more important disk is able to get lower

timing Stan factory which in a case latency of 14 all across support this means a small improvement in performance with the factory frequency and 1.2 voltage configuration okay but these are technical numbers for overclocking enthusiasts chances are you are you clicked on this video for actual performance in games so let's get moving first let me tell you the cold hard truth about modern games and RAM frequencies not all games actually benefit from higher

frequencies in memory in this review I am using the rise of the Tomb Raider game as an example of a game that will benefit visually from memory overclocking and check this out between 26 60 C megahertz and 3,000 megahertz there is a 8.5 frames per second difference in actual gameplay just for frequency alone if the time is however our change more performance can be gained however it requires more work on your part in the overclocking process so what

is the conclusion for this one key when we take into consideration the factory settings and example if profiles installed alongside the overclocking Headroom available this kit is a great choice for the casual gamer just a small bump in frequency and timings will end in some

performance gains in particular games while the gunmetal gray heatsink used will certainly match any gaming system available that is if you don't like the current RGB trending .
