the model number is been 2 GW 2 4 8 0 which is a 24 inch IPS flicker-free LED display and this one has HDMI connectivity and this is Full HD 1080p monitor with built-in speakers so yeah let me just cut the Box open now , so first thing we get in here is the pouch inside that we have the user manual or the Quick Start Guide the next thing we are getting here is the driver disk and here we have the warranty card and this monitor has three years warranty as far as I know the next thing we get inside the box is the standard power cable the quality is good

enough ,next we have the HDMI cable but it's simply of no use for me as of now because my motherboard only has a VGA port so I have to use the old VGA cable which I was using for my previous monitor because this BenQ monitor does not come with a VGA cable the next two things we have here is the monitor stand for the base this is the middle part and this is the base part we just need to screw this in with the middle part so I will do that later now let me take the stand aside for the time being and let's look at the monitor itself now and here it is and here is

the beauty let me turn it over so that you guys can see the back side in terms of i/o we have the power port to the left and to the right we have the display port with HDMI VGA and some audio ports since this monitor has built-in speakers so let me just assemble the stand now you just need to insert the middle part of the base just like this and once you feel the feet is all right just taken up this screw now you just need to insert the stand to the monitor and it will just clip

in here and it won't move don't worry this monitor has the standard wall mount holes to in case you want to mount it on the wall and here is how it looks like side-by-side with my previous 20 inch Samsung monitor and this BenQ monitor has a auto brightness sensor right below the logo so it can adjust the brightness automatically with your room lighting like a smartphone so I am done with connecting the monitor with my PC so let me just fire it up and

here is how it looks like so now let me just play one of my videos and I just love one thing that how thin the bezels are over here and it just looks so just take a look , the stand fits good enough and even if you like accidentally push it the monitor movements are like quite less as you can see and you can just tell the monitor up and down like this , and the physical buttons to control the colors of the monitor is to the bottom right and the power button closed

budget and I couldn't get like a better deal like than this one I got it for like ten thousand three hundred rupees from Amazon on offer so that's a big thumbs up from me at least because I couldn't get any like better IPS display which is 24 inch 1080p and same time so yeah that's pretty much it .

stand is pretty fixed you can only do tilt adjustments which aren't massive there's no pivot or tilting adjustments but given a factor of price is to be expected there is also a built-in speakers as well which is useful just for windows notification than that I wouldn't use it for anything else and as far as I'm aware there's no AMD freesync technology built-in a lot of other manufacturers use it I can't see it on this BenQ mountain monitor now in terms of this

competition it competes with the AOC I 2 4 9 0 vxq and the viewsonic VX 2 276 now these two monitors have pretty much the exact same specification exact same build quality and panel technology review links will be in the description below which i've reviewed both and also links by links to these andy bank you will also be in the description now in terms of the monitors build quality now there's a three sided borderless design it looks beautiful that means

it doesn't take too much space on your desk there's a black design with like a ribbed which has a textured stand there's also a little eyecare monitor i found at the bottom as well and in terms of accessing the OSD there is just a physical buttons which can be found underneath the mortar are very easy to access and the OSD is pretty comprehensive you can change the contrast the color temperature and each individual colors in terms of color wise what I've done I have put

and let me just try and find it the color temperature user-defined I've put our two hundred B to 100 and G to 99 so Green is just one notch lower I'm other than that everything else is pretty much standard and it's very easy to use there's also an AMA which I've set to preview and I'll get into that in just a bit in terms of gaming now due to being an IPS panel viewing angles are very good contrast ratios are impressive as well and the black levels are pretty impressive in

terms of just generally speaking looking through air images I found that the bank immortal was able to portray an accurate image it was also able to to showcase colors as you would expect them to do and given the fact of its price I think it does a very impressive job in comparison to the other monitors I mentioned it it looks pretty much identical I wouldn't be surprised if they're all coming out the same factory just generally speaking most monitors do nowadays it's just at how manufacturers brand them or choose to include certain features so

overall color reproduction is good however there's one thing which really let it down and that's its overall brightness at capped at 250 CDM - it meant that the brightness wasn't it the monitor wasn't bright enough of course if you're in a dark room you won't have any problem looking at this monitor but in a bright room like my right now the monitor is actually quite dull and it's quite hard to actually see all the colors pop out often I felt like I want to ramp up the brightness but that is set out a hundred percent already and still it's just not bright enough I wanted

around another 100 cm to increase in other words a hundred just just just a little bit brighter so unfortunate it's just a bit dulling across the other monitors out there I did find a viewsonic was a little bit dull as well but the AUC wasn't as this one so - is one of its major points that I should note and given the fact that they're pretty much exact same price tag it was something pretty disappointing now in terms of gaming performance now it's not aimed at gamers it's only a 60 Hertz panels IPS and quoted 5 millisecond response time I must say in terms of casual gaming

you won't have any problems using this monitor when I was playing Counter Strike on it what I found is that the monitor actually responds relatively well and other than that I didn't have any problems utilizing or playing on the monitor now AMA is set to premium and what I noticed it was a little bit of overshoot ghosting which it does occur so if you're going to be playing more competitive games you might want to ramped up to a premium if not the high settings on ama

will be absolutely fine so as I said this gate this monitor is not aimed at gamers neither are the other ones that I mentioned before however it does run fine and they actually responds a pretty well with a pretty low input lag I should also note that I did try overclocking this monitor and when I overclocked it what I noticed is that it can reach 75 Hertz and it does pass all the required tests even though it's a 74 76 there it's correct it gets to 75 Hertz and it works

flawlessly without any frame skipping so yes you can overclock this monitor if you so wish and no you won't notice any sort of gamma shift or throughout the screen so what do I think about this monitor overall I think it's a good monitor it does everything that it says on the tin it's an IPS monitor its color accurate the contrast ratios are out there in terms of overclocking potential it's got 75 Hertz overclocking there just like the other panels that I mentioned before

it responds pretty well in terms of gaming obviously it's going to it's not aimed at gamers but it can be used in for like casual gaming and it does just generally know the build quality is OK it's nothing special on a 3 side borderless design is nice to see however its brightness does let it down it's a bit too dull and in that respect it is quite hard to see why we'd recommend this
