hey guys are gonna start it off with minecraft is very important to me I make a lot of good maps and some of these mats are extremely large now the computer I have here is definitely not a gaming computer whatsoever the power supply I think is about a 300 watt I've had to put a bunch of hardware into this thing to try to make it at least half assed decent now I did pick up a new graphics card it's a Zodiac NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 I picked this up because of one of the
projects I'm working on minecraft right now it's a big giant dirt mansion and this thing just killed my old card and now the old card I had in here wasn't designed for any gaming Wessel ever there's only a gigabyte ddr3 and it just was a potato now this card isn't any better it's just a little bit faster which gives me a little bit more wiggle room to work with my minecraft builds oh yeah I'm not looking for a big giant power horse over that but I picked up this card just to make my game a little bit better but I did some I did some tests with other games like black ops
2 zombies I did Saints Row 4 and just my minecraft and I ran a bench test and now the bench test didn't completely finish it was really laggy but for this card there is no way in heck you're gonna be running any of the new games whatsoever at its native resolution which will be 1920 by 1080 you have to nail that down to about 1280 by 720 and put it on the lowest settings possible to play a game stat least to achieve 30 frames to 40 frames for black ops 2 zombies I
was able to achieve 60 frames steady at the 1280 by 720 resolution and the lowest settings possible so it did really well now for Saints Row 4 that game wasn't really designed at all even even if you take a look at can you run this website it says that this card is definitely not supported on that game but however I was able to achieve 40 frames a second with the lowest settings possible and at 1280 by 720 resolution now old cards you can knock down the
resolution and the the quality of the game a lot to be able to play games that are pretty much impossible on cards like this I just wanted to show it off it's it's a little bit better it will help me out with my minecraft builds like I said I'm building this big giant dirt mansion and it's it's just killing me paid for ch which is pretty pretty all right deal I highly recommend if you do pick this card up get a fan I recommend it majorly get a fan just without it I ran this card for a
good good 5 minutes to 6 minutes and that thing reached up to 90 degrees Celsius that is very dangerous I put a little fan pointing at it and I'm reaching to about 50 sometimes 40 and if it's sitting on idle it's running about 37 degrees Celsius so that's actually really good for shaders on Minecraft there's no way you're gonna run shaders it's still laggy so if you're wanting to go for shaders I know this card won't do it but however if you're just wanting to play Minecraft as is
it's actually a really good card I highly recommend it for that it's cheap it works but like I said I highly recommend putting a fan on it because if you don't do that then you're gonna burn the card out now I like it being fanless for one reason take a look at this card right here you can see the dust buildup all over around the fan that right there will block the airflow and that can
cause problems now for me I always had to blow every every couple weeks because it would get so bad even sitting on the desktop you can hear it spin really fast so it wasn't getting a good enough airflow alright anyways I'm gonna let you guys go I just wanted to talk to you about this card and did a little unboxing and what I think about it it works well does exactly what I needed to do now I can actually have some ease on my minecraft builds .

that MSI NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 alright so this is the 2 gigabyte ddr3 and PCIe to HDMI DL DVD DVID so this is the third different GT 710 I've got I think they're a very good card for a budget PC and I've done a few budget pcs in my time so so why not um so I look at the side shows your yeah barrier back so it does I believe come with a low profile um bracket as well when you put it in your PC let's take out the box or what you get in the bottom so you get your
user manual if you now to install graphics card you don't really need to bother also a driver disk once again why do you want to bother with that you're gonna get our latest drivers on the Nvidia website don't bother why those so let's take the card out these things is right so here's the low profile brackets see one for the DVI HDMI and you have one for the VGA but we ain't gonna be using those so let's take the part out of this wrapping be careful this and here we are
so this will take up as you can see it's quite a low heat sink here so take up one bay in your case not a dual one one it's not got a fan on it so it's gonna be very very quiet indeed so it's got a protective caps on here so that's obviously the VGA and HDMI is the one that's gonna get used so really can keep that off and DVI who uses DVI I have never ever ever once used DVI I've never owned a DVI monitor so why why would you bother it bother with it as a standard
anymore regio could understand because there's VGA monitors still ever help but DVI I do believe that certain TV eyes can output sound but why would you want if he got HDMI yeah so we believe this have look under the specs I think you can you can output you can output up to 4k these GT 710 cards so take that off that's obviously where you put it into your computer into a PCI Express slot yeah that's very good but I mean it's okay for a lights game you inger
exactly play modern gaming on it so I think he can handle up to grand theft auto 5 I have tested it on a GT 710 and it can handle it but that's with a AMD FX processor but yeah if you want a budget card this is a roundup of the mark you could probably get them cheaper than this and also once with 4 gigabytes or so with the ddr5 memory this is only got ddr3 so before I want it for it be ok because as I said it's only for a budget PC so I'm not going to spend
a lot of money for a graphics card that's really not going to Warren it's the power because it's only going to be on a really well a budget process or anyway it's not going to be a higher powerful processor so what's the point of spending lots of money on a card this will do um yeah so that's the the MSI NVIDIA GeForce GT 17 here you go right.
