just tested the very popular headset the HyperX cloud alphas if you haven't seen that review yet go check it out in the review description because in this review I'll be going over the 7.1 surround sound cloud twos now I've been a gamer for a long time since racking up thousands of hours in the early days of Halo 2 multiplayer also using the HyperX revolvers for some time I'm interested to see just what kind of experience this new headset provides you can find the cloud

twos through hyper X's website for  as always I'll place my affiliate links in the review description below click on those links and they'll give you the most updated prices in real time now join me and share my experience with the HyperX cloud to , as always I'm a big fan of hyper axis design and build quality from the gunmetal gray frame and matching stitch work to the embossed logo across the top they are fantastic looking and feeling the headband is made

of memory foam and artificial leather I felt it was comfortable across the crown of my head and spread the overall weight of the headset evenly one criticism I could levy was that for me the pair was somewhat small I was blessed with a rather large head and there was some slight noticeable pressure near the base of my ears even when fully extended though if you're not six foot seven like I am you should be fine for the ear cups HyperX went with a matte black

housing and a satin brushed aluminum backing on the driver's the finish also extends to the headsets frame I think out of all HyperX color schemes the gunmetal grey and black would have to be my favorite though if you prefer the classic red and black look that's also available leather earpads are the standard on the cloud twos though an extremely soft set of velour ear cushions are included as well I thought they've both felt great the leather was cooling on the

ears and the velour was very breathable after about four hours of marathoning the new call of duty on hardened not veteran I know I never had any nasty ear sweat with either material they did wore my ears up a bit over time but it was never excessive I did want to note changing them out was quite difficult and could be a pain if he switched them often passive noise isolation is decent I felt it was slightly better with the leather earpads though if you prefer the velour

feeling your experience won't noticeably decrease sound leak is minimal at 50% volume and at 75% which is quite loud a small amount of noise can be heard now I'm a night gamer myself so I really appreciated just how well the headset performed in this regard the noise cancelling mic is detachable so if I wanted I could wear the car to out as regular headphones all right folks testing the microphone and the HyperX cloud Suze I have the Amazon echo playing some talk

radio in the background when I step fingers in front of you guys as well and this is just a very quick simple test and see if you guys hear and it kind of background noise also my voice does sound a little bit nasally that's always inherent with these microphones but this does not sound bad at all if anything this is very very good for a gaming headset alright talk to you guys later back to the review the analog audio cord is not removable so if you do experience any

scratchiness or left right channel issues later on you won't be able to switch it out I never had any problems with the connection and it is very snug in the headset but it's something to be aware of one of the biggest selling points of the cloud twos is its USB audio controller it has a built-in sound card with DSP or digital signal processing which allows for the virtual surround sound I'm a big fan of these controllers for several reasons I found USB connectors to always be

more practical than two 3.5 millimeter jacks I also like being able to control both the volume of my microphone as well as the game audio without having to go into my system settings and finally it enables me to have the virtual 7.1 surround sound but we'll get into that in a moment finally included in the box is an airplane adapter as well as a cushion mesh carrying bag though it's not the most premium looking material it is very springy and gives a surprising amount of

protection to your headset when I carried these around last weekend I never had to worry about dings or scratches when shoving the headset in my bag or throwing it into the backseat the audio drivers are huge at 53 millimeters making them the largest drivers in hyper X's headset line and larger than most competitors to test how they sounded I was burdened with playing a lot of video games I played a mix of new and old Call of Duty World War 2 overwatch rocket League cuphead and several others just to get a feel for their sound profile when I

pressed the 7.1 button on the controller the soundscape significantly widened in call of duty when I stormed the beaches of Normandy bullets flew by and explosions burst at varying distances and I was able to feel how airy and how spacious the battlefield was in rocket League I could hear engines closing in behind me and car demolitions across the arena improving my awareness and gameplay even an overwatch which has a very animated artificial sound profile the virtual surround sound made it intensely immersive the announcers voice totally

encapsulated me as far as specific audio ranges go with the Cloud twos bass was present but was not overbearing the sound was punchy and didn't noticeably distort other frequencies in games with more bassy sound signatures like battlefield 1 or Call of Duty Base was used more as a sharp initial characteristic two sound effects rather than the thunderous rolling of bass heavy headsets I did notice the mids are pushed forward especially with these 7.1 engaged in gaming headsets I'd generally like this sound signature because it creates a sense of excitement

but there were times when so many different audio sources were occurring I felt the range became slightly cluttered the vocals did stand out more prominently in the mix I usually have to play with subtitles on yet with declaw twos I found myself not needing them in the treble frequencies there was a good amount of detail I was sure to watch out for any ear ringing or metallic sharpness which can sometimes happen with gaming headsets I didn't experience this

problem with the cloud to's although at higher volumes there was some minor edginess in the range with the 7.1 engaged due to the simulated directional placement of audio I felt there was a slightly lower fidelity in the sound I was able to hear where sounds were coming from but lost a small amount of clarity due to their distance I'm not knocking the cloud to s overall quality at this price point it's just a give and take between resolution and spatial sound all-in-all I really enjoyed my time with the cloud to's the virtual surround sound was a fantastic addition to their

line of gaming headsets the greatest effect I noticed was the accurate sound placement and its improvement on my gameplay with the virtual 7.1 I had improved awareness to what was going on around me and I felt increased in skill as a gamer and personally I'll take any edge I can get I know the market is flooded with gaming headset options but with everything HyperX packed into the cloud twos . I felt they were very much worth the price .

the most favorited headsets on the market the HyperX cloud but what's cool about this is this is the cloud - it's the predecessor to the famous HyperX cloud and they have put some pretty cool features into this thing and I'm pretty excited about this I'm starting to turn into a headphone whore I'm gonna be catching up to Jerry at this rate gigabytes flex display technology automatically detects and connects up to 4 displays with the best gaming experience in multi display Ultra HD click the link in the description to find out more alright so here's the

headphones right here but before we start talking about them let's go ahead and talk about the packaging I rarely talk about packaging but that's because manufacturers rarely give you a packaging experience that's worth mentioning but the HyperX takes that to a whole new level in fact they even have like tissue paper in there that's that's pretty interesting so you got your paperwork and stuff on top your instructions on how to use it you guys are know how to use it

though they are so yeah now the packaging has a lot of soft foam in there I mean you've got this covering it tons and tons of soft foam we all know who loves soft foam you get an extra set of ear pads these are fabric pads and then all your cabling is down here obviously I've already got them here I've been using them and then you have got a detachable microphone right there included with it is also one of those old-school airplane plugs you know you guys know how the

airplanes kind of separated the sound from left and right so you have to use their headphones you know almost like a drm of audio on the airplane well they include that in case you wanted to use that but what makes the HyperX cloud twos so awesome is the fact that not only does it feature a metal frame you know some have very you know plastic key arms on here when it comes to the adjustable arms and the swiveling ear cups these are billet aluminum they are

tough they are not going to get damaged also aluminum right here on the ear can itself but you also have a nice stitched leather and black and red stitched headband up here on the top nice soft foam for comfort for long gaming sessions and then I have installed right now the pleather ettor pleather leatherette whatever headphone or ear cup pads I personally don't like fabric fabric kind of makes me get itchy and so I don't really enjoy that so I am using the leather ones

on there and that's going to talk about the headphones themselves they do not have a detachable cable at all from the earphone itself which I guess is not a bad thing but the microphone is detachable as you can see it just plugs in like that now why would you want to detach your mic well a lot of people are on the go they're in school or in university or whatever and they kind of want to have one set of headphones that's versatile can do everything they

need it can play your music or you can you know do VoIP or chat in your games and it's gonna go with you wherever you go and you have one set that can do everything well that's what the HyperX cloud twos is all about you've got your dongle I love that word dongle has so many meanings depending on the context of what you use it anyway you've got your dongle here which does have a clip and it's a nice long cable there so you could clip this even to your waists

if you were say jogging or biking or whatever I guess you wouldn't really be jogging or biking considering this terminates into a USB 2.0 but let's say you want to detach from your computer without and use this headphones doing something else whether it be with your cell phone or smartphone or mp3 player well this actually plugs in to the dongle and it has the three-way plug on there so that you could use it with a smartphone and also utilize the mic if you wanted to but you've to take off the mic then it just becomes a stereo headphones that plugs into your

mp3 player smart device or whatever while this is still plugged into your computer the entire time I love the modular aspect to this headset now one of the things I like about the inline control system here is it does have a slider mute on the side but it also has not only volume up and down for the headphones but it also has volume up and down for the mic how many times have you guys been in teamspeak or in a game or something and you you say hey guys what's up but everyone goes oh my god wow so loud geez you're loud it happens to me all the time I

know what happens to barkleyz but you could now turn down your microphone or turn it up right here without having to go into control panel and change any of your level settings on here you also have a 7.1 surround button which turns this into a simulate 7.1 which is actually not that bad I tried it out in battlefield and the moment you press it the environment seems to go from very closed to very expand it now of course it's only as good as the software controlling it and the nice thing about this is it's all plug-and-play you don't have to install any sort of

HyperX software to make it all work it all works onboard and I found myself using 7.1 quite frequently and I'm not a fan of 7.1 in fact you guys probably gathered that from my sonís video but I don't like 7.1 simulate however I found this to actually be usable so you may like it but if you don't want the 7.1 you can just turn it off and then you're in purely in stereo mode but I did find it to be somewhat accurate when it comes to simulating locations of noise and sound when it comes to games which definitely comes in handy and things like twitch or you know twitch

shooters FPS shooters things like that so I guess what's left to do at this point is to go ahead and plug this thing into the computer and then we do a mic test and we say how this thing sounds now that I plugged the headphones into audacity I've gone ahead and taken listen to this microphone before giving you guys my impression spec I've heard the microphone a few times already in fact when I was up at PDX land these were the heads this was the headset and mic

that I use the entire weekend now one of the things I noticed with the mod mic 4.0 was the fact that the esses and the S sounds that it made tended to make me sound very lispy now truth be told I do have a little bit of a lisp ma when it comes to the way I say SS and it just seemed to sort of enhance that a little bit more so I I found it super silly and flappy and stuff when it came to my essence so some people actually pointed that out and yeah it does take a natural list but

that I have and enhances it even more so it sounded kind of silly but I think you guys can hear right now with this microphone that although not bad it's not great either it does sound a little bit modulated a bit compressed which is kind of normal for I guess gaming headsets with as much technology as crammed into this headset it makes sense so that something would have to suffer a little bit and the microphone tends to usually be that thing that is going to suffer I also

notice that the audio levels seem a little bit low and even if I turn the microphone up as high as I can the audio levels came up a little bit which is kind of good I guess they returned down slightly but what you'll notice is when you go into the control panel you're actually locked out if any sort of levels control you you can't change anything in there it's all done through software through the driver for the headphones in fact at all again it's all plug-and-play there's no software to install or any of that stuff but I think all in all for what it is and considering how

versatile it is it sounds pretty damn good the audio is good the bass is pretty clear the mids and highs are very sharp and then when you go into 7.1 surround mode it sounds great in gaming but music sounds terrible as you would expect music to sound in 7.1 but once the cool thing is once you plug this into say an mp3 device and you get stereo anyway there's no 7.1 but if you lift-me listening to music on your machine I would highly recommend turning off the 7.1

simulate and going purely with the stereo which is going to sound a whole lot better now overall I would say that the sound is pretty warm some headphones have a very tinny or very harsh sound to them like for instance the rock at headphones that I had although they had a lot of features to them they sounded very tinny and almost had a lot of reverberation inside the the ear cans and I'm not getting that whatsoever with these they're extremely comfortable I mean I cannot even describe how comfortable they are you guys know if you watch PDX coverage I

wore these things for three days straight and I don't think I've ever worn any headphones or headsets here in this office for three days straight I have a lot I'm always switching them out because I get a lot of ear fatigue and you know head fatigue when it comes to wearing headphones and headsets that are not comfortable for me so I tend to be a little bit of a hoarder when it comes to that aspect I shall hoard a lot of things but it's definitely that now one last test I'm gonna do before we wrap up this video is a typing test I took a lot of I took a lot of crap

from people saying I didn't do a typing test and I guess for streamers that actually matters so I am gonna be using my razor chroma RGB mechanical keyboard here this is their mechanical green switch I've got notepad open and we're gonna go ahead and we're gonna type and we're gonna see just how this thing sounds if you were say you know a streamer and you're typing on this thing so let's say and I won't talk during it because that was the other thing I took flak port

you're you stop talking during the typing test all right here we go I guess you guys will never know what I typed since I couldn't talk but it looks like audacity picked up some of it but it's very very low so I imagine that the rear facing noise cancelling mic on this probably did a pretty decent job of canceling out that sound you're gonna hear it but even though it's a clicky key I don't think it's gonna sound entirely too bad once again Kingston has definitely hit a

homerun when it comes to a rounded gaming headset that doesn't destroy the bank and gives you a lot of features I personally especially for an on-the-go person love the modular aspect of the headphones where I can pretty much and I'm gonna switch back over to my built-in mic here where I can pretty much say ok I'm here playing the game I've got to go to school gotta get on the bus or ride your bike or whatever it may be this is how quickly you turn these from a

gaming headset into audio headphones you now have audio headphones that you can with you and this is still plugged into your computer when you get back plug that back in and then you can plug the mic back in now you have a gaming headset so that it's freaking awesome so there we go guys that wraps up my review here of the Kingston HyperX cloud twos I think they're if pretty fantastic headphones the versatility of them is really what sells me on it more so than the

mic quality and stuff because most people my quality VoIP and game it already sounds compressed and terrible .

HyperX Cloud II - Gaming Headset, 7.1 Surround Sound, Memory Foam Ear Pads, Durable Aluminum Frame

the Kingston HyperX cloud this was their initial introduction into gaming audio they've teamed up with Koopa to co-develop this headset and you can actually find the Koopa equivalent on the qh9 T but with Kingston actually offering a better value at slightly lower price point so this is the Kingston HyperX cloud 2 and update the design to an already popular gaming headset the cloud the original cloud now with a price tag because of an included

USB dongle for virtual surround sound and there is your  premium price tag because of it one very important aspect about the originals it will still be for sale so for those not needing the USB dongle that comes with cloud 2 can save some cash and go with the original so the few physical changes between the cloud 2 and the predecessor are the red coating on the aluminum support for the ear cups that on the initial headset was black and you can also get a gray

version with the cloud 2 the second change was the added Kingston writing on the inside it's a very insignificant difference and lastly the single 3.5 millimeter jack on the cloud 2 that integrates both the headphone and the microphone signal while it was split on the original and since the formula for the headset is already top notch I'm glad they didn't mess around but to quickly recap the cloud 2 is very well built it's flexible size adjustable the padding on the

headband is just right without any particular pressure points the light structure is awesome for long gaming sessions and I love the synchronous color accents all around especially the thread for the headband that literally ties things nicely with the design I do appreciate the fairly compact nature of this headset as you can see looks quite nice it's not gigantic in any way and it feels like it can take a head being thrown in the back from mobile use you can actually use it

without the microphone if you want to just use it for music for example outside it doesn't look like as typical gaming headset anyway but this gives me time to also reflect back on the original HyperX cloud and I'm happy to report there's been no major annoyances no breaking parts only light scuffs on the leather and the plastic on the exterior the only concern that I've brought up to Kingston was the actual connection cable and headset this is because on the original

sample the cable had a little bit of motion that made me first believe there was some sort of fault with the joint I can hear it moving inside the ear cup luckily this has not affected audio quality and to my surprise out of the box cloud HyperX ii had the exact same issue less movement but they same story so if you encounter any type of no audio interferences or any type of issues that you know may be left on the right channel is not being recognized properly

then potentially check the cable and to see exactly how much movement there is because that could be the problem so coming out to the microphone it is removable it's awesome if you want to use the cloud for mobile use it is extremely flexible and stays in desired position and what you're hearing now is being recorded with the cloud 2 through the USB dongle it's possible for gaming for just new people can't hear you that's all that matters really I wouldn't use this use

this to stream also this microphone is very sensitive make sure to place it away not too close to your mouth so it also doesn't pick up your breath and it has noise cancellation so I'm going to start typing on the keyboard so you can hear how much of that is picked up by the microphone so noise cancellation is present it mutes the background elements pretty well but not totally isolating just your voice the ear cups are interchangeable a set of velour ear cups is included

they are oval to accommodate for the height of your ear with great feeling leather cushion and extra padding in the center piece to avoid discomfort if your ears reach they're this small but very important feature is usually found on more expensive headphones like the dt 990 pro's and that is my main gaming driver by the way so seeing this padding on the HyperX cloud is very much appreciated and give us a like if you want to see my personal gaming audio setup and

we'll make sure to sign five and finally let's take a look at what makes the cloud two different this USB sound dongle on the one end we've got a USB 2.0 for connectivity to your PC a 3.5 millimeter input jack for plugging the headphones on the other end the dongle is very small but controls the headphones and microphone volume independently with the plus and minus there's an awkward to reach mic mute on the left side and the shirt clip as you won't like this dangling on the ground the star of the show however is the immediate 7.1 virtual surround sound button

in the center with illumination for clear indication when that is enabled and I think this is really meant for individuals on gaming notebooks or if you don't have a proper sound card or an outdated motherboard design then this plug-and-play device is super convenient to get that virtual surround sound without having to tinker in your own equalizer settings so like I said it is driverless it's just plug and play it's a 16 bit 48 kilohertz DAC that there's more than capable

and driving the cloud - and anything above about 50% volume would cause hearing discomfort it's a really clean signal pass-through no complaints here there's no coloring in the audio signature and the 7.1 profile works really well for gaming whatever equalizer profile Kingston has created to simulate multi channels and enlarged audio depth is definitely working and we give them a huge thumbs up and as soon as those numbers light up your audio environment

expands the stereo projection becomes surround and it feels like the sound is no longer coming from the headset so close to the head but for much larger audio sources in the distance and that's very good to hear you get a really good sense of distance for faraway gunfire the positional cues are now slightly more engaging compared to what you hear in stereo mode and please please please make sure to put on the velour earpads is they're not as isolating as the leather ones and I think that complements the 7.1 profile better without compromising on tight

bass that you get the treble is detailed and the mid-range is not depressed so you can pick out voices very clear bounce of objects in your environment like grenades and as soon as you enable that 7.1 profile clear audio separation between all types of elements becomes a little bit more difficult for example footsteps become less detailed because everything is pushed back but you get an extra sense of where those footsteps came from and this USB dongle is not a bad idea if you don't want to tinker with your own equalizer settings and this plug and play solution

should appeal to many including myself for gaming on my laptop as I do use a desktop DAC and an open style of headphones for my regular gaming needs however the HyperX cloud brings us to extra color variations of the headset all the same awesome build and sound properties of the original and now with a favorable USB dongle for a click of a button surround sound that actually works well I think the premium is right in line with what you get

however the originals are still up for sale if you want to save some cash and want to use your own DAC or your own sound card but once again we are giving the HyperX cloud too damn good a word and if you are in the market for a new excellent sounding pair with a decent microphone you should consider the cloud and we'll that concludes this review.

a HyperX product and this is the HyperX cloud 2 gaming headset actually it's the Perot gaming headset now this headset does come in two colors as you can see we have the red and black here it also comes in a silver and black model and they range give or take around eighty to a hundred bucks pending on where you're buying from and what the current sale is but anyways what I do is bring you and show you the headset first then I'll be back with you what

kind of talk about it talk about some pros cons what I think about it when I will also do a mic test and then kind of close it up and get our conclusion and talk about is it worth that, I'll be right back with you , all right so as far as those close-ups let me tell you what these things are hands-down absolute beauties right and again like I stated before they come in a silver black but of course you all know the technique they sell something and red and

black I'm gonna scoop it up in your box you are gonna get the headset you're gonna get this little carry bag here it's kind of like this soft mesh bag I don't know why you would carry your headset in a bag but hey it's there um you get two sets of ear cups as you saw in the closest right there you have this one velvet you know type set right here and then you have this pleather set here I highly recommend you sticking with the pleather set it holds on a lot more sound get a little bit of sound but you're not saying it's bad with these but it sounds a lot better with the

pleather ones now you get the mic over here and the mic does come with a windscreen on it so nice little touch there as well it's a little airplane uh who's Emma what's it I think it's a waste of money NOK to set down a few bucks and keep that out of there but anyways a little hair plane adapter whatever and then over here you get your sound card and this thing really brings this headset to life like it really does it plugs in by USB and real quick before any further this only

works on pc and ps4 it does not work on xbox but again the headset is 3.5 so you can plug it into your switch your mobile or your xbox controller if you have the newer updated controller you can control your volume up or down your mic up or down activate the surround sound right there and it lights up red whenever it is activated and then you have your little mic mute switch over here and then you have a clip on the bottom if you want to just you know just clip it right

there and be all pro like consider when we're using the HyperX cloud core Pro you better look pro but also the usb on this guy is a heavy heavy duty braided cable like really nice heavy duty so you don't got to worry about crimping or pinching this guy when it's hanging on the floor but it is long it is really long so you have that deal there and then you also have the cable on the headset which is how it connects into here so all in all you have this massive long cable so you

don't got to worry about length you're good there all right so now let me get all this stuff off the table here and we'll start talking about this stuff later on down the road when we start talking about build and sound and stuff like that but what I'd like to start off right now is the headset and comfort and I'd hate to start it off on this foot right here because it's a negative that negative I think is only for my head shape I guess or my comforts you know and maybe yours but again don't take this as a negative as hey the headset is junk or it's garbage or it's no good

again this is a personal preference negative I think you know what I mean and what where I go with that and again this doesn't matter what ear cups as you can see right here I have one of each one of the pleather and one of the little velvet one right there just to kind of show you know again I do prefer the pleather once it locks in the sound anyways that's later on but again as far as that comfort whenever you put them on right here and they fit nice I mean they they really extend out and they got some you know flex to them but when you put them on there that

kind of headset very similar to a Razer headset if you use the Razer headset before or any of the other HyperX I mean they're all pretty much built the exact same right and what they do is they press more up top rather than the back right there it's hard to explain so let's just say it's you know maybe my head shape where on the back where maybe it's whoop sinned a little bit more so as you can see with these guys like you're seeing a very mild adjustment right there

when I'm trying to spin a minute out they don't move at all really there's no give make sure you got plenty of give going this way right so you're really good right there but there's nothing going this way but again please do not take that as a negative or a you know downfall as far as the headset I highly recommend you putting these on your head and they may be perfectly fine for you but other than that a little bit right there as far as the headband very very cozy I mean

very nice cushioning up there and again the ear cups plenty of giving them whether you go with the little velvet ones here or these pleather ones plenty of give and very very soft now let's go ahead and talk about build now before I purchased these I read a lot of reviews whether the Amazon reviews are just on other websites and a lot of people said they're built solid they're built like tanks extremely durable I think it even sizzled on the HyperX site but I think it's kind

of like a little allusion to your right because the first thing and then I thought this is well when I was purchases you see this big old piece of metal and you're like okay wow that thing's solid right there's no plastic there but what I want to catch it is right here sure we got that big piece of metal and that is how it adjusts right there you hear a little clicks right so we adjust right there but the two arms going into here as you can see right here the little joints there in the

plastic and then the screw that's holding the metal into the little lever in there or whatever want to call it the arm gets screwed into plastic okay and then up here where this arms going into I know you guys can't see it on camera so uh but anyways it's also going in the plastic and it's not going into one solid reinforced piece of plastic as you see there's two screws over here on this side on the inside so that piece is screwed into this piece of plastic so you got this one nice big piece of metal but again the two arms are held on by plastic and then up here which those are

our two main pressure points not right here but up here and down here whenever you're pulling them out right all your pressure is going up there on those two spots as you can see them going out and given right there now again I'm very easy on my stuff so I don't think they'll give way but I don't by any means think they're built like tanks you know because again the only thing that's metal is that guy right there they do have solid weight to them and they do feel solid but again I think this metal is a little bit of illusion and we all kind of think like oh wow man

these things are tanks you know what when again they're going into just plastic I just wanted to bring it out there and bring it to your attention because honestly I think these are built just as tall as any other headset whether we're talking about turtle beach or Corsair or anything like that right again the difference between those headsets is a lot of this metal is covered up by plastic so they go plastic and then they're reinforced metal is within that plastic when these guys just flash it right out there in the open so again I just want to bring it up to the attention

and just keep that in mind all right so let's get to the meat and potatoes here and let's talk about the sound and let me tell you what these things sound awesome I mean they are solid no matter what if you're on PC if you're on Xbox Playstation 4 or the Nintendo switch or just listen to music they sound solid again I highly recommend you keeping them on the pleather ear cups which sure it might make you tears a little bit hotter but they hold uh some of that

sound and they just maybe bring out that bass a little bit more when you put on the these little of velvet ones here it lets a little bit of sound bleed out but they are extremely comfortable and extremely breathable but again I recommend you keeping on two player ones just to lock in some of that sound but they really come to life when you plug in this little sound card here which connects by USB and this works on the ps4 or the PC again it does not work on the Xbox but let me tell you what this thing brought this headset to life like is just absolutely amazing

and honestly as some years know from some of my older headset reviews I don't like that fake fluffy 7.1 surround sound that they say headsets do you know I feel like it drops a lot of the low-end and just really brings out a lot of the high-end and this doesn't do it what it does whenever you click that 7.1 it just feels like it really just brings a bigger punch to the headset not saying I like it's heavy bass or anything but it's just like enhances the volume is what it sounds like the

lows are still there the MS are still there and the highs are still there nothing is overpowering one another you know it sounds very very good with this little guy in there again it sounds great with a 3.5 but you notice a massive difference with this little guy plugged in now one thing I wish was on the sound card was whenever you're adjusting your volume like if you get to the highest volume setting I wish it like made a little notification sound in the headset or same with

the mic if you went all the way down or all the way up which it doesn't again that's just me kind of griping and complaining I wish that was on it but again when you get to the max volume it's just there you don't get any sort of notification now as far as the mic as you can see right here it is detachable it's not connected right there so you can take it off put it on if you please and it does also include that nice windscreen right there but as you see on the bottom the headset right

here you just plug it right in there and then BAM you are set and it's really nice and solid no matter where you put it it stays like it does not Bend out of place or anything really nice and heavy duty but you know what let's gonna get a quick mic test this is what kind of sold me on the right 5037 reviews coming in at four stars wow that's pretty stinkin amazing you don't I mean but anyways I started looking into it and let's scroll down here a bit where are we where are we here we go this product has been listed on Amazon since January 23rd of 2015 so again

don't let that that review score kind of sell you like it did myself now what I was talking about in that mic test about that review score and I know it kind of sounds like I'm bashing this headset or I'm just hating on it and I'm honestly not just cutting to the point I think it's an awesome headset I think is completely worth that price these sound is awesome the mic is amazing the features you get with it are just incredibly solid again that comfort issue that's my

personal opinion and maybe my just head shape you know yours may be completely different you might not feel that at all so just catch me right there I'm not bashing or hating on this headset by any mean I think it's solid and I think it's completely worth that money but again I think there's a lot of deceiving points in it you know number one that review score which sold me I'm like four stars at five thousand reviews this thing's gotta be stinking amazing you know

what I mean it's gotta be the best headset out there with that kind of score you know so uh again don't let that sell you like it did me so my final take on the HyperX cloud - I think it's a great headset I think it's well worth that price I'm gonna sound you're getting especially with the sound card thing going on PlayStation 4 or PC I mean they sound amazing you'll be very happy with the the soundstage very nice and balanced the bass again it's not ear shaken by any means but it's there and it sounds absolutely fantastic the mic is great I think the builds decent

again it's not the best you know it's not this full metal headset or anything but it's decent just good as any other a headset you know.
