The Amazing Corsair LL Series LL120 RGB 120mm Fan 3 Fan Pack
take now it feels like almost in every second review we just talked about RGB where we have it on keyboards mice we install into system and it's just going crazy but today's reviews probably not gonna be any different because we finally have the new Corsair ll series RGB fans so these things all like upgrades to the HD fans and they'll really look awesome but these ones they're gonna look so great so I can't wait to actually install these I'm gonna show you guys all the effects it has I'm just gonna tell you guys some of the installation stuff you need us well because there is some some stuff a lot of people know about so we'll just sort that out as well so we have
two well kind of six so we're gonna install that into my 468 case RGB case then I'm just gonna see how awesome it looks because these guys look so good so good but yeah let's quickly get into that and then I'll just show you guys as well mine the difference between the HD fans and then the new LL series fans so let's get into it okay so let's really open these up and see what you get inside the box so our first up its front to open this one okay that's probably gonna be the connections here we are so you've got the previous Corsairs you've got the sp1 20s well they only had four LEDs in the middle and then you got that normal h DS these ones which had 12
around the side but now these have 16 so 4 in the middle 12 around the sides so it's gonna look awesome it's high static pressure fans you do have a PWM powered and then you also need to connect the LEDs to actually show that IDs so that's pretty much how they look squeaky guys then again then inside here you actually get the lighting control unit so the fans the LEDs actually plug into here just like that and then this you have to say to power and then this one connects into the lighting nerd Pro that actually connects onto your motherboard the usb on your motherboard header so that'll enable you to actually control everything on all the LEDs on the fan so you can use that I do have the commander Pro so I'll just check what's the
difference between this one the lighting node Pro and then come on their commander Pro as well see if you can actually get more controls with the commander Pro or you just need this one which will actually be nice you don't have to buy additional monitor Pro but yeah you still get the screws which is stuck the Newspeak a header cable and then the connection between the two and then just some manual probably read this just to be safe yeah that's pretty much it , so
there we go all set elephant or install I took out all of the HD fans they do look cool but obviously these ones are crazy cold and unfortunate my camera's like color isn't perfect so it doesn't really capture how it actually looks in person it looks crazy cool even though on the camera it does look pretty nice in that there in the
background but I'm gonna show you guys a bit more as well I'm gonna go over the effects for you guys as well just show you guys all the secondary and primary effects you can add spice it up completely there is a there is a bunch of them so yeah it's gonna look crazy cool but then just something I want to mention to you guys when installing just make sure you add them in the proper order so one two three four five six seven eight nine ten it doesn't go that far it goes into six but just add them in sequence otherwise they're not gonna work so just do that and then also the only difference between the commander Pro and the lighting note Pro that you actually get with the hello fans is the commander Pro you can actually plug in the fan the PWM fans to
the komono Pro and control all of the fan speeds and everything it does have a built-in hub and then also you can connect just other devices to it as well like the lighting strips you can connect though two of those and then you can also connect your all-in-one cooler and then your power supply if you want to as well so it's just a nice unit to control everything in a single spot but you don't need it if you don't have the commander Pro you can still use the lighting note Pro and then just connect all the fans to your motherboard or if you do have a fan controller you can just plug it into that and you're sorted so yeah let's just take a look at all of the effects you can apply to these because there's a bunch and they are awesome so let's get into that okay so now
let's quickly just go over the link software we she can just go down there from Corsairs website I just make sure it is up to date forget to about just check that it is up to date and then also just make sure that your commander Pro if you have a kimono Pro is also up to date so just force update because otherwise it's not going to work with their our fans so just do that first and then you are safe so if you don't know anything about Corsair link it just it controls everything you can see all your temperatures you can control your fans you can do everything through this which is really cool but the main thing is you can control all your LEDs so we get into that the
first one is my LED strip so we're not going to focus on that we're gonna focus on the fans so do have a few fans you can choose from the LED strips the HD fans that SB fans and then the health elf fans so first of the effects you have the rainbow wave which is pretty much the standard one you can change the speeds so this will change that just gonna fight all of them then they're a lot slower you can also change the clock speed the direction so clockwise or counter clockwise so there you go you next up you do have a rainbow which you'll quickly apply so rainbow is just it cycles through all the sixteen point eight million colors so that's
pretty standard one color shift color shift you have alternating between like two colors or you can pick a random let's quickly take alternating making two colors so then it's just gonna switch between like green and blue but you can also change the colors if you want to for random it's just gonna pick any random color so it's not gonna be in sync you'll just have a mixed nut show going on there next up you have color pulse so again you have random or alternating so as we apply to all of them so that's just going to pulse in and out of this specific color but on rainbow on random is just gonna switch between the colors as well alternating you
check so then it's just gonna pause from green to blue from blue to green so it's pretty standard after that we have color wave as we apply that so that then as you guys can see it goes around the ring and then goes from the outer ring goes into the center ring so it does look pretty cool you can do it on random as well if you want to or you can just select your colors the two colors you would want a random is just it's very crazy they're static it's self-explanatory it's just a single color if you want to just keep that you can can change the color let's take pink just because we can so there we go next up temperature so temperature just follows the CPUs
temperature and change it to the motherboard the GPU hard drive whatever you want so let's quickly apply that to all of them currently it's like between 35 and 25 so it's not really too hot but that's good so you've lucky you'll always note Fiser did you do be sure I don't know so this one is a bit more of a crazy one going on so it's going around the rings and then going inside as well but yeah it's kind of funky let me take this again the alternating between the two colors let's just see how that works so that looks pretty cool doesn't it with the two colors sinking in you can change it the colors again so if you want the different colors you can get that as well you can also change the speed so this will change the species to see how that actually looks so
that does look pretty cool something different which is always nice next to more key that let's just apply to all of them so that's just gonna flash the Holly Dee's in and out between them so you can change the colors you can change the speed speed it's going to look crazy,so that's next up we have blink so just as it implies it's just gonna blink in and out of colors doop doop doop not too much going on there and then we have sequential that this is a pretty cool one so going from up so back so the bottom one is my first fan and then the one at the back the extractor is my lost fan so it follows all the way to the back from bottom all the way to the back now which is pretty cool you can have a static color if you want to you can change the speeds
again next up we have arc we apply that to all the fans so that's just gonna cycle between all the colors as well so there's really a lot of effects you can add you can nice quickie add that the inner circle one color the outer circle a different color which does look pretty funky I've side do like that one next up we have heartbeat it's just that one so if I slow this one down I'm full speed it doesn't really look that good but if you slow it down you'll see that the altering pulses first of the Florida inner impulses first and then the outer ring but you can't change that to the uttering pulses first and then the inner ring that's pretty cool next up we have pong which I
have not seen before so that's gonna look cool I've said that looks pretty interesting I do like that let's speed it up a bit doo-doo-doo-doo doo-doo-doo-doo that's pretty cool let's take a random color I just mix it up completely see you have so many different effects you can apply you can you'll probably never get bored of this so if you just create your own ones you can go crazy with all of the effects you can actually apply and you can also do it individually as well if you want only the first the first three fans the front three fans you can link effects to only those three or you can do the ones at the back a different one or you can do often the same again or
each one a different effect so you can spice it up crazy amount so yeah that's pretty much all they of the effects I could say yeah that's pretty much it the effects look awesome that LEDs just they look awesome the fans like I said again the HD fans they were cool but these ones are on the next labels just the effects you can apply and just how vivid in the colorful it's it looks so awesome so yeah if you want to spice up your computer a bit definitely get these they're a bit
pricey but often look nice don't they come on they look awesome so yeah if you actually want to get these for yourself you can go check it out on rebel sake I'll leave everything in the description so you can just go check that .
The Amazing Corsair LL Series LL120 RGB 120mm Fan 3 Fan Pack
the Corsair ll 120 RGB fan kit it's the packaging here and right there use the model number so let's go ahead and check these guys out you so let's get it open here alright looks like we got a box so we'll set those guys to the side let's start with this box first let's see what we got in here alright some paperwork warranty and the manual wow that's a thick manual Wow alright so first thing looks like we have the fan hub here and we got a 3-pin connector with just two wires this plugs into your motherboard here and it will plug in to there and then we have the lighting node here and of course we have 12 screws so oh sit down inside here are one of the fan all right
nice seems a pretty nice and heavy duty and then off of this we do have it's like two connectors in here , yep so we got two different wires here those are gonna plug into here so I three came in the package and then I also did get two more for a total of five so it looks like we got okay so we got I'm learning with you guys here so let's open this guy up no there we go all right so this guy is going to plug into here and then plug into the motherboard and then our two pin connector is going to plug into the node the lighting node and then plug into this guy here and
then one of these the LED wire is gonna plug into this hub here and then the other one is going to plug into a fan header or whatever else you have on your motherboard so I got five of these fans we're gonna go ahead and get them in show you how I have it wired up put them on and check out the lighting effects we got the corsair fans installed in the case this is without any other LEDs on this is just what the fans themself so we got one two three four and five there are a lot of different modes so let me see if i can kind of back out and we'll get to those modes here so this is the corsair link if you do not have it on your computer what you will have to download
it so once you plug it in you'll have to go up here it should automatically recognize it and you'll have to hit this plus button for how many ever fans so when I first turned it on there was just one just the first light was on so right now I have this in rainbow wave mode and the reason I have the computer or the monitor and the case in there so you can kind of see so what I'll do is I'll go down here and I'll just go to let's do sequential channel effect so I can change the color if I want counterclockwise so I changed that what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go down here and I'm gonna hit apply and so it starts from 1 see if I can kind of turn this here so it starts from one two three four and five that's that there are a lot of different effects so you can see in here
right now there is so there's sixteen different effects right now so let's try Visor I mean I can change the two colors of those if I want so once I change it there come over here I'll hit apply and there we go now if it doesn't apply it to all the fans if it only applies it to one what you do is you go right over here to copy two and then you can hit devices and it'll it'll copy it to all of them it'll apply it to how many other fans you have in the case so that's some of the lighting modes now on to how these are hooked up I'm going to show you on here I kind of just did a little paint thing just to kind of show how it looks so what you have is you have your node Pro
and of course this is in the back of the PC so you have your node Pro and then you have your fan hub each fan has two wires coming out of it one wire is gonna go to your fan hub and then the other wire is either gonna go to your motherboard or the fan controller so the fan controller is gonna control the speed the fan hub is gonna control the LEDs now something to keep in mind is I have one two three four five now you do have to plug them in order so I have this plugged into one this plugged into two and so on or you could do this one to one this one to two
you get the idea so you have the node pro you have a wire goes to SATA you have one that goes to your USB header on your motherboard sm any USB as you've seen in the unboxing your two pin connector goes to the fan hub and then on the fan hub itself that two pin connector and then SATA power and then of course your wires that go to your fan.
