we're gonna talk a lot about fan cooling at pcs this man requested thing from time to time people I know a do I water cool be do I fan cool like and what do I recommend for it and without going too much into water cooling I do want to disclaimer it is the quietest way to go I know for a lot of people it's very important but there's some pros and cons to water cooling the cons largely being if you've spread a leak you can ruin a lot of equipment with you know getting coolant on your actual other PC hardware it's in the same case now that is kind of rare I know now because of this reason and being kind of a klutz I tend to use fan cooling and the case

I bought which is kind of expensive case a cooler master case back in 2005 I've had this case of my main reg for quite a while now it does have four fans okay so it does do a lot of fan cooling so fan cooling is part of my everyday existence in life and I do recommend cleaning your fans from time to time it's been advised to me that toothbrush is a great way to go for the little screens and it really is but sometimes you just really can't beat just replacing the fans altogether and I recommend about once a year actually just replacing your fans and getting some fresh ones in there the LED lights burn out after a while they get dust in the motor and

parts you can't reach with the toothbrush and it's just good to go ahead and or air aerosol can if you will but it's good to actually just get some fresh fans in their front time time and snap that expensive it's a great way to give your PC kind of a refresh for this video we're gonna be talking about the coarse air AF 120 quiet Edition fans these are the AF LED series fans which are 120 millimeter by 1500 rpm okay so and 25 DBA now one thing about fans if you're not sure definitely be sure and make sure you're ordering the correct fans when I first started

building pcs there's at least one time I did order the wrong size so just know that they do come in a range of sizes starting at 40 millimeters to 120 okay so and there is probably some bigger ones too but that's the standard again these are 120 s now another thing about fans you should know about is there's different types of bearings so sometimes you'll find that fan that's super cheap or whatever and maybe it's a really good deal but it could be really noisy too so you have to kind of keep in mind that the amount of sound that could be produced by these at times can be better extreme you know sometimes the fans if they go over a high PM you might have kind

of a winding loud pitchy noise if there are cheaper ones you might have this a general loud fan noise and if you get expensive ones you might build a find a fan that is great cooling and stays reasonably quiet too at the same time that is kind of the trick is the noise level versus the price okay anyway I believe these are a really good deal these were pointed out to me for on Amazon they do come in a 2-pack and I do do blue for the majority of my computer lighting though sometimes I stick some right in there too just for fun I think lighting is fun some people say oh it's not needed or whatever I think it's a good time I like to have lighting in my PC case so let

me go ahead and try to open this up let me grab my knife okay I have my knife here we're gonna go ahead and open this up for you before I cut in though dude check the back on they do have technical specs usually on the boxes of these so if you're not sure if you're actually at a brick-and-mortar store and looking at a box you can actually determine you know the speed the sound level all that good stuff and that should all be taken to account before you actually buy the fan okay so let's go ahead and cut this open here and I usually save these boxes in fact some people save their old fans for me I usually honestly do just pitch them things are kind of

an expensive thing again this 2-pack here was starts fan and that's not too bad so I do go with that we'll leave one out here and they'll cardboard insert and this here and sometimes there's some other stuff that's included actually let's see if there's some screws or parts here it should be some screws yeah there you go there's the screws you'll make sure it's included too okay so taking a look at the fan you can see this is a nice wide-open fan which is really nice it's got the clear blade so the blue LED will shine right through and will

look very very nice and the fan itself you can see it does have LEDs let's see it looks like this one is a four led fan so we have up there basically every side has its own LED which is really good now this one here does support let me see the plug at the end this is a simple three prong sometimes they do come with adapter and it is nice actually when they come with a different power adapter so you can have some different power options as far as how you're gonna actually you know power your fans there is controllers you could buy these do fit very nice into

the controllers there's a variety of different controllers you can buy although if you have a case like mine light which is a cooler master stacker it's type of thing where the front does like shut as a metal door so you really can't see the fan controls or like an LED faceplate or whatever so it's kind of not needed but some people if the other right type of case it can look very cool and be very helpful to have those fan controls you know right in your face and very easy to access and that is pretty much it as far as the fan goes guys this is snaps right into your case or you

can use the screws to bolt it in as needed so anyway if you have any question about this fan please let me know if answer a pretty you know basic thing as a whole but I just wanted to show you kind of what comes in the box if you're buying these you'll receive two fans and you will receive two sets of the screws so it's pretty much everything you need the only thing that could be lacking would be if it would've came with an actual power adapter that would have been an
extra plus okay .

the Corsair AF 120 quiet edition fans for your PC I've had these for a while and I've been wanting to go over them so here we go these fans usually solve for each but when you buy the twin pack you can get them both here you can see both these fans running very brightly and very well even though it's right beside a giant light which is in front of my PC so now I'm going to show you guys is what my cpu temp is with these fans so here you can see my cpu temp is the solid 25 degree Celsius which is about 8 degrees colder than it used to be now keep in mind I originally had one stock fan from my case in the back of my PC and I

did not have a top one and now I have these two fans one for back and one for top so 10 degrees decrease is pretty good given the fact that I simply increased one more fan and yeah I got to say I'm very impressed here we have an overview of the box as you can see I bought the LED red for this version it comes in multitude of different colors but yeah so we're going to be going over the box here shows you the dimensions and that it's an LED series on the sides it just tells you the model and the amount of fans are gonna be getting and the company it's the same on the other side as well on the back however you get something a little different tells you the amount

of fans plus some stuff they put into the engineering of the fans and below we have some specifications which I'll show you in just a second and here we go and if you want you can pause to look over the specifications and here we have a sound test so right now I'm not really doing much I have my fan set to be like as quiet as possible and this is what you're gonna hear now compared to my original fans this was this is actually quite the improvement I had a stock man which is currently in this old box or this mini box I guess and yeah this is the sound I'll give you a second to listen now keep in mind phone mics are kind of sensitive that's the way

they're built to be but I also want to show you what my fans would do because on a CPU based game like csgo once I start this up you'll realize that the fans will go a lot faster will crease rpm to you know match with the temperature of my CPU okay so now that it's running once if I were to enter a game the CPU fan of course would increase means team plays more intense than just having the main menu but keep in mind so I'll just enter a quick casual game give you an idea what the fans will sound like it's not a big increase just something I thought you guys

wanted might want might want to listen to this is a CPU based game mostly you can change the settings to be GPU based I believe that's what I have for my 10 e 1050 Ti okay so now you can start to hear the fans increasing a little bit now keep in mind of course my CPU fan is the one making most of noise because this is the one that adjusts but my other fans as well they will adjust based on the temperature inside my case so my CPU temperature does have to do a little bit with that so here's another listen to the noise so definitely increase they're mostly from the

stock fan but a little bit from the actual new fans nothing major though nothing I would call it deal-breaker definitely impressed with the the sound the way this handles sound and CPU temp at the same time I'd rate this 9 out of 10 and I definitely would recommend it especially for its affordable pricing and for its great looks right now it's right beside a huge light really bright and you can still see the lights quite well and with this light off of course the fans look even better so I must say these fans are amazing I definitely recommend them.
