adding some kind of RGB lighting to your system is one of the quickest and easiest ways to get a nice unique look and really take things to the next level and these days you can pretty much get any component you want with some kind of RGB lighting on it but my favorite way to do that is with case fans the problem with that is it can really add up in terms of cost really quickly there's some really expensive case fans on the market and if you start to get a whole bunch of them for the intake and the exhaust on your case and maybe you also need some for your cooler you can easily spend even on some of those high-end models and

that's where these guys come in these are the deep cool RF 120 M high brightness RGB fans I picked these up on Amazon in a box which works out a fan which as far as RGB fans go is actually really affordable before we take these out of the box let's quickly go over some of the specifications so there are 120 millimeter fans the RPM range is 500 to 1500 airflow is 56.5 CFM air pressure is one point six six which is actually pretty good and should make them suitable for heat sinks and radiators if you want to use them for cooling the fan noise is rated at less than 27 decibels which is very quiet fan

connector is 4 pin pwm they use fluid hydro bearings and a standard four pin RGB connector and they're fully certified with Asus gigabyte MSI and asrock RGB lighting control systems so let's go ahead and open up the box and see what we get here alright so we've got this little white box on top let's see what's inside here so right away I can see these two fan hubs that come with it so you're gonna plug all your fans in here and that's what provides the PWM connection and the power to spin the fans themselves RGB would connect separately so these are a pretty cool way to connect multiple fans in your case and kind of manage the cables and they come with a

little bit of adhesive tape to keep them situated up against your case and out of the way which is pretty cool here's your standard four pin 12-volt RGB connector that can connect to any motherboard and that supports RGB and should work perfectly fine with any of those lighting control system software's that we talked about before and there's also some individually packaged for each of the five fans next up we have a little user manual here that kind of shows you what's inside the box and there's some very basic instructions for how to set these up with the fan controller hubs and then how to chain them together and plug in the RGB onto your

motherboard very simple stuff it's just a couple pages here shows you what you need to know nothing more or nothing less next we have just a piece of cardboard that does nothing and finally all five fans are packed tightly inside the box so let's go ahead and remove them and see what we get the fans feel pretty sturdy and well made when you pick them up they've got a little bit of weight to them and overall they feel really solid there's some rubber grommets here over where the installation hardware is going to go to minimize vibration and keep noise down they feel really solid I don't feel any play at the connection points to the motors and when you spin

them there's really nothing to hear at all overall it seems like a pretty well made fan here are the connectors with this is your standard PWM connection that I was talking about and then this is where you kind of daisy chain together the RGB lighting you just keep connecting the fans together then finally they connect to the RGB cable that was included in the box and that plugs into the motherboard and that's what will give you control over the RGB on all of the fans I'm going to quickly plug these in and get them set up on my system so that we can see

what they look like what they sound like and generally how they perform ,so getting these connected and up and running was as easy as any other case fan they just plug into those hubs like a normal case fan would into a motherboard and then the RGB connector is a standard RGB connection plug it in and you're good to go so let's go over to the computer and start messing around with Asus or a sink to see what the RGB looks like on these fans , so as far as the RGB implementation goes I think these are pretty awesome they work flawlessly with Asus or a sync on my asus motherboard and it should be just as good with gigabyte as

rack and msi because they're all certified compatible so what you really get here is a super bright colorful and vibrant RGB fan setup that is probably going to be good enough for all of the RGB and lighting in your system if you're putting in five fans or more you probably don't need any other lighting strips or effects or anything like that these are gonna satisfy most people now one of the things that I did notice is if you flip the fan over and you take a close look at where the fan is actually spinning around the hub and the motor you do see it vibrate or wobble a little bit which does indicate that it's probably off balance a little bit but like I said

when you're holding it in your hand at least at the base rpm you really don't notice anything it feels perfectly smooth so I don't think it's gonna cause any adverse effects like noise or vibration inside of your system and some of them are different like some of them are better than others but I mean I think that's to be expected overall this is probably a more budget fan set so I mean there's bound to be some kind of quality issue or something somewhere but I think it's pretty minor you don't really notice it you don't feel it and I definitely don't hear it so really quickly here I'm just gonna crank the fan speed all the way up to the max which is about

fifteen hundred and fifty rpm so that you can hear any audible difference between the base rpm and the maximum which I think is probably going to be pretty considerable because the base rpm is barely audible at all so let's go ahead and do that so there you go they're actually running at 50 yeah just over 1500 rpm right now and there's a serious amount of air moving behind these now and I can definitely hear a difference but that's true for any fan I don't think you want to be running anything at its absolute maximum all the time it's definitely gonna add some noise to your system it's just the way that it is so that's how these work they're they're

very quiet on I had it on smart mode before it was keeping it around the minimum all the way up to maybe 500 to 700 rpm barely audible you crank them up to the max they're gonna get a little loud but it's not an annoying loudness it's not like a mechanical kind of sound you really just hear a lot of air movement it sounds like there's like a crazy windstorm going on so I mean keep that in mind if you want to keep the noise levels down you're gonna want to keep the RPM down like I said same is true with any set of fans so overall these deep cool RF 120 M super

bright RGB fans are an awesome deal for a pack of five you really get really good cooling performance good quality fans they feel like they're well made and they're probably going to last and I mean they're ten dollars a fan is what it worked out too at least when I bought them on Amazon I'm going to put the purchasing links down in the description make sure you check these out if you're looking to take your system to the next level with some cool RGB lighting effects.

have you is the deep core are f or 125 for two of these but in each one of these boxes contains free RGB fans they're also fully sync capable as well should be able to sync them up with any motherboard and you can pick them up and they also come with a controller if you don't have a motherboard this supports RGB so what we're gonna do today is we're gonna do an unboxing I'm going to show you with a controller I'm gonna show you what we're or asynch white really be focusing too much on the BIOS today but this system over here

is now my coffee light system so any one coffee leg reviews will be called by these fancy be able to see their firm performance as well anyway let's go in let's take a look at them arm and then I'm going to show you all their lovely RGB lights so let's start by taking a look around the box so here we can see we've got the deep cool logo we've got a picture of the fans in question then we've got the Asus Aurora sink now this will sync up with any motherboard that offers you know RGB sync capabilities but one thing I recommend before you go and spend a fortune on

lots of RGB fans and that loads of RGB equipment is to maybe just buy a cheap RGB strip and to see what your motherboard can do when it comes down to RGB because we'll just take a quick little look here here is in there some way that behind there is my MSI be 350 tomahawk Arctic now the RGB on that in the mystic light features only allows me to set to one color so if you went out and for a whole load of RGB gear to run a motherboard it might not work the way that you wanted to so definitely buy a cheap strip first but this does come with a built-in

control that if your motherboards a bit limited I think it's more on the cheaper motherboards let's just get a bit of focus heating see again we got the RF 120 fan 500 to 1500 rpm we've got 50 6.5 CFM and 17.8 227 decibels if you have a little bits and bobs there nothing on the sides you can just RF 120 again I'm just gonna focus for you and you can just have a little look at all the specs on the back there now like Willie says with the rpm range it goes to 500 to 1500 rpm maybe we'll sort of a 10% difference and one thing I'm going to say about these fans across the whole rpm range they are very nice sounding fans they're not very loud at all even a 1500 rpm

got his horrible wire or whine I've been really impressed with these fans actually I've had three of them set up and I was yet generally quite impressed and this was when I just had them out in the open as well not in a case let's have a little look now I already have a set of these so I sort of know what we're getting in the box I ordered one set and then I ordered another okay so there is an accessory box then we have instructions you should be able to figure this out yourself but it's good to know just a few little things how you wire it all up yeah just various different languages what's gonna be in the box but we're gonna show you what's in the box so really

surprised how they practice all in one it came I boy who's gonna be a bit bigger so here we have our free 120 millimeter just take one out for now RGB fans as well they are back wedged in I was literally putting that out by the cable talk about breaking your first product so there's one of the fans to put that down to one side what we need to look at is all the accessories because there is a whole load of accessories I'm just gonna rip this right I know I'm not gonna return them because I really like them so there's a whole lot of accessories going on in here so let's have a little look so the first things that I love comes with a lot of deep call callers as well this

nice little PWM fan splitter this can allow you to put for fanzine but if you do use it for other fans make sure that you're not gonna be putting too much on your head I generally stick to free fans but you can have 4 fans pwn nice splitter cable it's good length on it and the reason it's got good length on it is because I'll show you when I get to the fan cave was the fan cables on super long then we have nice free screw sets all in black as well I hate it when you buy you know when you buy fans aren't like uber expensive aren't too expensive or just the one fan it comes with silver silver screws especially if the screws have been seen it doesn't look very good at all then

we have the controller so the first part of this review for the RGB lighting I'm going to show you the controller and then at the end of the review you want some done you can see some aurora sync as well so it's just two controller so there's an off button pretty sure it's an off button I saw that yep so there's a power on and off and also the brightness speed and you've got the mode sorry it's going to take me ages to get that off and then you have the connectors so these are the RGB connectors and then you have a power to hooking up to your power supply so that blogs up to the same what you do your hard drives now this is the cable you're going to need if you

want to sync up to your motherboard so again we've got free connectors for plugging into the fans so here is the RGB connector as you can see we've got the 12 volt power and there is a little triangle on these as well anyone that's used to RGB there's little powers you know that you're putting it in the right way and the last connector is another you can see here we have this is a extension cable which allows you you plug it into the actual normal cable it's gonna be a right now so you plug it into one of these and now you have the ability with all of this sort of mess to hook up six RGB devices now I have plugged in my fan Tech's RGB extensions and it didn't quite simcard probably on that one so you are gonna want an RGB splitter but you can

obviously add another six deep called number six and other three deep called fans if you want to and you can also add their RGB strip so I imagine how probably sync got better and deep cause well do RGB CPU callers as well now so over to the fan so you can see it's a 120 fan this is like clear so that's what's gonna get all our light coming through now one thing I had considered this because this is blocking out some of the light is taking these stickers off but I don't know if there's loads of like parts under here or if it's gonna look really horrible what I really want to take this off and you'll see it when I'm i sync it up in a minute anti-vibration pads

built-in as well like I said generally really quiet fans all black so they're gonna look nice in any system and then you do have two wires on here and these are the cables I did say we're a little short and suppose it's awkward isn't it because when you buy fans if the cable is way too long you like oh god it's just annoying because you've got to tuck it away and hide it away and the CPU core doesn't stop if it's too short then you need to get extensions and stuff but we do have the extender and then there's the RGB one as well so you've got an RGB connector that's gonna be a bit hard to see these little connectors and then we have a four pin PWM as well so that's

everything in the box I'm gonna get these hooked up I'm going to show you the controller first and then we'll move on to the Aurora sync so I have the controller on and I'm gonna try and show you some of the modes but there's quite a lot on anything see what you sort of jumping through the colors at the moment and you can adjust the speed of that so it goes to like super straight B and then you can also adjust the brightness as well just get away from that one and then you go garan colors we can adjust speed on that we want to go through all the colors and

then we can do the brightness I'll show you the brightness in a second just one again different sort of color effects going on okay then you should be presented with a solid color so I think this pre effects you can just speed and brightness partners and then when you go on from there what you have is you have two color and then you have the each one's your student sort of pulsate in and again you can adjust the speed so we've got green green flash blue blue flash yellow yellow flash sort of a pinkish reading I saw turquoise blue and white which is very good they do have white because I know a lot of people with the RGB don't like that they don't have

white and that's a very very nice white in the flash and then we're back to flashing colors so I'm going to show you the aurora sink in a minute I haven't really used or a sec that much so we'll just put that into the video you can see the various stuff with Rory sink and decide whether you want to use sink or you want to use the controller as always any questions please lastly I've

been very impressed with these fans I think that's a cost you really can't bold them of everything day constant all the included cables and the fact that you can sync them up and the fact they're not loud and they push a nice bear there as well I think I really like them .
