today we'll be looking at these Zowie XL 2411 p to see how it compares to some of the competition in the market right now before we get into the review  if you're new here and always press that notification bells and never miss a review so where is the Excel 24:11 p it's a gaming mother esports monitor is what they call it on the website and it's got features such as 144 Hertz which is great for us

many review playback he's got a 1ms response time which is pretty good as well and it is on a TN panel which isn't the best walk we'll touch upon that sort of stuff later it comes at a price point right now which is pretty affordable  and so we are going to try and compare that to some of the other monitors within that price point before we go into the features anymore though let's take a quick look at the design so looking at the design and it is predominantly plastic which you'd imagine from a drama monitor of this price point and it is

quite sturdy and because it's got a decent stand bought from a just looking at it and it is quite basic but I suppose like just what you'd expect from a monitor this sort of price point moving on to the stand that's probably one of the standout features for me so to quickly go over the stand and fully functional extremely versatile for a monitor of this price tag you've got a full 90 degree swivel it also goes up and down we've got quite a bit of height to play with as well

something you don't normally see I can also do a full 90 degrees this way so if you're a twitch streamer want to get your feet up there obviously got loads room to play with and yeah pretty much anything you want to do this thing can do it it's got literally every viewing angle you could run so to go over the specs quickly the monitor has a 24 inch display with a fairly large 20 millimeter bezel it comes boasting 144 Hertz refresh rate a 1 millisecond response time and a max resolution of 1920 by 1080 that's pretty much the perfect mix of specs for a competitive

gaming monitor the high refresh rate will help create a really smooth video playback the low response time will ensure you've got pretty much a zero ghosting to go over the inputs quickly it comes with a limited number of inputs but everything you need it's got a HDMI 2.0 a DVI which no one really uses anymore and a display port as well which you will me to use if you

want to make use of that 144 Hertz refresh rate so we've had a little lock of the money but you know it looks like you've heard some of the specs and we've had a look at the stand now let's put it through some games and see how it compares to other monitors in this price range

right so I have spent a couple of hours using the monitor and the most notable thing is gobby how smooth is and even when I'm swiping pretty aggressively Wester right everything seems to be pretty smooth absolutely zero screen sir that was an issue ahead with the last one we were tested and there was there was quite a bit of screen time which I'll be stuck out show you on this one oh because there is zero and well yeah it just makes the whole experience a lot smoother it's real immersive as well even playing a game like counter-strike yeah it's pretty good I'm gonna

show you the black equalizer because that's one of the main features on this one back black wires are for those that don't know is basically it changes the contrast of the dark areas to give you basically brightens up those areas so you can see if someone's hiding in a corner or something it just gives you that little bit of an extra edge over the competition everything this

monitor is designed to do is to give you the edge over someone who hasn't got those features and so I'll try and show you that now the minor comes with an absolute ton of a presets and I'm just going for each one with the gamer ones now as you can see and if you are I mean I don't

know that's gonna pick up on the camera boy it's pretty washed out and that's purely to give the dark areas more visibility which is great if you're competitive eSports player that needs that if you want the most realistic experience that's probably not going to be the best way to go but but like I say this is purely geared towards eSports players so it's a great feature stuff it just might not be your cup of tea it does wash out the colors quite quite aggressively but when they found it that's what we can show ya nice tracks pretty up to most nowadays I remember back

when I was playing 1.6 and things that you'd get a lot of dark spots where people could hide in bought now those weak you can see the difference that it makes it just sort of washes everything out and brings the docks up to a brightness way you can just see straight through it right so we did have a look at the like equalizer ICS we're on shad over to him now obviously let's see the difference that it makes for some of the dark areas I can see straight away it just brings the

floor up completely bit of versatility this monitor has it's a headphone jack on the side and great for people who don't put the pieces on the desk but they've got quite a short cable but just surely straight to the monitor you're good to go it's quite a handy spot as well so to give you an idea of the adjustment in terms of height you've got a shedload to blow really look at that height for days height for days so there you have it guys the full rundown of these are we XL 24 1 1 p monitor and for me I actually really enjoyed it I'm heavily into my game and especially

competitive eSports titles and for things like CS it's pretty much perfect even though the color isn't incredible as far as smooth gameplay only ghosts in things like that you do actually need for eSports this thing does it perfectly if you're into graphic design and/or browsing or doing things laughs probably not the monitor for you it still does a pretty good job but obviously it's geared towards gamers so if you're a gamer you'd love it probably not so much you view into

video editing things that are bought for me great a lot of mana for an affordable price tag so guys that's it.

Ben Q and it is the Excel to 411 and this is a monitor pretty much has everything a true gamer would want or at least that's what the marketing works have you believe so this is a monitor with a 1080p resolution 144 Hertz refresh rate a TN panel but it does lack any freesync or juicing tech  is this a monitor you should be considering or is it something that maybe you shouldn't well as always it all starts with the design of the monitor which I have to say it's very inoffensive but it does absolutely nothing to WoW me at all it is

fairly bland it won't fit in with pretty much any color scheme but it doesn't really do anything to look particularly gamer II but it doesn't really look that interesting either so while it will fit anywhere don't expect it to sort of become the center of your desk as it were around the bottom of the monitor you will notice that the stand is very adjustable in fact it's got all the adjustments you would need and it has a lot of them because the swivel swivels around a lot

there's plenty of height adjust and you can pivot this to 90 degrees as well although this thing at TM can all that's not necessarily something you'd want to do as the viewing angles may not be ideal in this scenario move around to the back of the monitor and here we've got all our inputs we have a HDMI socket although this is limited to 60 Hertz we've got DVI which is what you're going to want to use about 144 Hertz refresh rate and then your legacy VGA for some reason

though there is no DisplayPort here which I find really odd as my personal BenQ monitor that I bought what three or four years ago has a DisplayPort socket so it's kind of a strange of mission on a monitor that  on the left-hand side of the monitor though you will find that there is a headphone jack that you can plug in some headphones to where there is no USB hub so you won't find any USB port on this monitor move to the under side and you'll finally buttons for controlling the on-screen display and the on-screen display generally

speaking is pretty good it's fairly easy to use identify myself getting confused visually it's not the best thing in the world but it's definitely actually one of the better menu systems currently available today just like the buttons feeling a little bit cheap and it's in the menu that you will find a range of presets with myself opting for the srgb one and then lowering the brightness because the brightness is way too bright out of the box and if you set it to a hundred you would

definitely blind someone well maybe no literally but yet way too bright you do have a few BenQ exclusives things like the black equalizer that will allow you to see through shadows and essentially completely ruin the image quality of your monitor but it can give you an advantage in games but it's definitely not something I would actually recommend that people use but obviously have a play and see for yourself so that's pretty much everything you need to know

about the monitor from a design point of view and of course the menu system what's this thing actually like to use and is it good for gaming well it's ones that question you're going to want to put it on your desk and you're immediately almost certainly going to be disappointed with the image quality if you've ever used IPS monitor because it just looks a little bit flat and that purely comes down to the fact that it's a TN panel and when you can get IPS monitors that with 75 Hertz refresh rates for half the price of this monitor then I think it's quite fair to say that the

image quality isn't fantastic and it is going to be very noticeable how much this is going to affect you well that's probably more important because if you are someone that does gaming and then you maybe do some stuff on the side maybe you edit a few photographs maybe you want to go browsing plate pages like Flickr and you actually want to give to see the full colors in the the image then you will be disappointed and you will feel the compromise but if you are this

monitors target audience which is a gamer and you pretty much only played games and then maybe do some general use on the size then you're going to be a lot happier with this monitor because it does one thing very very well and that thing is gaming assuming you can drive this at 10 HP at 144 Hertz which actually is fairly easy to do if you've got a modern graphics card then you're going to feel the full benefits because you're going to have a knife like I've snowed I was

going to say nice smooth and fluid response time and the input life of this monitor is very low and I think the main two things if you want to play competitively with the best equipment advantage is to get yourself a good fast responsive monitor and then a good mouse and assuming you've got both of those covered then you are going to have a genuine advantage and this is a monitor that I would recommend to people that do want to have that monitor advantage because it is very fluid it is very easy to play and playing games like Gears of War 4 that are reliant on you pretty much having the quickest reaction times possible and having a

smooth fluid monitor then it really does help but of course this does come at a cost of image quality and there are monitors out there that are a hva so IPS like that have the benefits of being fluid have the benefits of having a low level of input lag but also have much better image quality but of course those are a lot more expensive and if you are in a budget and something like this is actually going to be a pretty good option for you it just comes down really to what sort of person you are and whether you are going to want to have the utmost gaming fluidness

and responsiveness at the cost of everything else or if you want a more general monitor that can play games but isn't going to give you necessarily that much of an advantage but when it comes to this particular monitor there are definitely some extra flaws that need to be pointed out the main one really is the fact that the closest rival to this is the AOC was it the G you 270 PF for some it's something very similar to that it's  cheaper at the time of filming it has in my opinion a slightly nicer design although maybe it does feel a little bit

cheaper but the main thing really with that monitor is that it has DisplayPort and it has free sync sure maybe you won't use either but those are two extra features that that monitor has that this one doesn't and when you look at the two on paper they're very very similar and pretty much the only real reason for someone to go through this monitor is if they want the 3d vision that comes with this particular BenQ monitor otherwise for me it would come down to whether you want that free sync or just pretty much go for which ever one is cheaper if you are

serious about getting a monitor like this and yeah that's pretty much the way I'm going to wrap up this video overall this does win the recommended award as I say this does one thing and it does one thing very very well and that's gaming but if you're someone like me that does stuff other than gaming from their monitor then it's definitely worth considering whether the compromise of that image quality is something you're willing to do so there you go

recommended award what do you think is this a good monitor for you is this something you would buy or do you think BenQ should have added more features let me know down in the comment section below .

BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P 24 Inch 144Hz Gaming Monitor review

all brands may use the same panels BenQ works with varied gear team and basically this is obviously back in 2010 it means that they'll working on making professional monitors rather than just making monitors just to actually play games they made monitors for professional game players it 2010 most CS players were using CRT monitors and they refused LCD monitors but so we incorporated or designed or manufactured or something with the monitors

that they were using in 2010 which had upscaling and display smart scaling so basically it scales to a certain aspect ratio which feels comfortable in the eyes when they're gaming so good for you Zoe that's good that's good having these sorts of features which is display mode and smart scaling you could have an aspect ratio of 5.4 or you can have 4.3 at 800 to 600 resolution or you could have 1060 by 1024 by 768 resolution which is perfect but then because we didn't really

have proper high definition or did we have high definition in 2010 leave me comments down below let me know Zoe claims that they had everything under 120 Hertz back then and they knew about the visual feeling and technically they wanted to become the one that is more professional with getting eSports stuff out there because it makes sense to have something evision lis compatible with your eyes without straining to make sure that you could be more

competitive in the eSports world of what we're talking about today so meaning 120 Hertz was back then now we've got Excel 24:11 P which is 144 Hertz as an entry level for all people that want to game on less lag great resolution and great color vibrance as well as like if you're shooting in spring you've got this sort of control with the blurriness and stuff like that which we'll cover later so we fine-tune to color their monitors so everything was perfect for the visual effects of when you're playing the game specially in CS and because so many eSports players

really liked it them so we kept with the same sort panel or the same sort of functionality and then added to like what more than two things obviously they added more ports and they also added the color vibrance they added the black equalizer and other functions as well so that means that the player will always get the best functionality and thought the most comfort wouldn't actually game in in competitive but these sports gaming thank you sorry it's most adopted with obviously competitive game players who want the best and this is why Bank you

Zoey obviously listen to those saw people and customize their monitors or leave a load of functions or features built into the monitors that every eSport is eSport there could be a new one each sport is dream that can actually play to their competitive level but with comfort as well put it this way when it comes to pub key or if you will have a look and find out what eSports people are using you could just check on many like eSports gaming videos and stuff and you'll notice that Thank You Zoe comes up quite a lot because they're actual organizers

trust them because it don't have legs that don't have black dead spots or anything like that in their screens they're always ready to go and that's the way it is so even if we talk about the old school days most of them are still going to be using the older panels of what BenQ Zoe Zoe done before they merge together than what they've done today this is why their main focus is talking about entry levels one before Hertz of the Excel 24:11 P which is got a plethora of functions and features which is perfect for the game our entry level or even e-sports because eSports is what

they need and if you want to play at that sort of level then you need a monitor like that where you don't miss a shot for first-person shoot-'em-ups most competitive eSports gamers still got in their arsenal to excel 2410 and excel 24:11 without the P because the p's what about this review is with this new money off of 2018 what about something it's 2017 2018 I have to check out , right first off we're gonna go into display settings on the screen so once you've got this screen set up you right-click on the screen go to display settings that we left-click make sure it's

at 100% recommended if not you'll find a drop-down menu which will be a hundred percent and then also find out to make sure it's on 1920 by 1080 as this is a 1920 by 1080 resolution screen then go to advanced display settings click into that and then you'll see 1920 by 1080 and obviously the graphics con using this gtx time soon on this one home computer and i just i'm on 16 outs at the moment so i click into the display properties before display one this is obviously Windows 10 I'm using those bowls on operating system going to monitor and then click all the

way down to 144 Hertz and then click apply then keep changes then ok now we're ready so obviously test out the screen 144 Hertz this video is sponsored by blow creative check out them down below in the link in description and you can find out about graphic design logo design balanced for you to be feeling to make it on YouTube and all that sort of stuff and also websites and anything like that check them out anything description down below so as you can see black equalizer is off at the moment so I can turn it up without affecting the game , as you can see

black equalizers off and I can turn it right up to 20 and it does not affect any more saturation contrast or gamma off natural gaming experience I'm having at the moment so that means that you'd be able to see your enemies a lot more clean they're a lot more clear well by giving you the edge just with this monitor very simple very quick and does not affect the display at all next bit of menu on here is obviously I've got on photo mode actually I should change it to game r1

let's change to gaming one so gamer one this is what this sitting sit to already so I'll go into Blackie glaze off I turn that off as you can see there's a lot more dark are more cinematic and then I'll turn it up and as you can see it doesn't affect the game still in the same way so this is what it's like what it's off and this is what it's like when it's up full blast so we'll go back into main menu I should to go into so we can go down to we're gonna go to am a settings if we can find it shorten this window and very sure right so this is a standard normally you've got a ma

which is on so if I turn a I'm gonna turn a ma off for a second I thought oh wait it looks like on a screen won't hopefully it still looks very good so on this model with Excel 24 11 P we have a sitting called at a.m. pay and this feature features a liquid screen quality so basically it makes it feel so smooth and clean but there's a trade-off and it normally Stratton the box this is set to premium and you've got higher and then got off so we'll say we the trade-off is some premium users may notice some abdominal noise under general piece of content so they have set it on to

higher as a consumer is sitting and serve way too many user bad impressions but actually the framing the most players can feel the benefit and did notice any side effects but as the XO 24 11 P is an eSports Monica or entry level in sports Monica it is very highly adjustable and adaptable for these sports players or even players that are just starting up in the game  I hope you enjoyed the story on the background of zombie before they come sorry thank you or pain kuzuri and how csgo used to use a lot of their monitors in eSports and explain it a little bit more in depth about these monitors rather than just showing you the beaches and where it comes

from and how it adapted and how it could be obviously change for the future would be nice don't really know what the other features would be but if you've got any other features that you really want to expect on the eSports gaming one up leave it in the comments down below also Amazon link description down below so you can definitely go and purchase the Excel 2011 no Excel or 2411 P monitor and get on with your game in and smash people in the competitive world .

this is the Ben QX l 24 11 P a gaming monitor  just looking at the thing it honestly doesn't look too interesting it just looks like every other monitor the design is a bit boring isn't it but this monitor hides a few big secrets that you just can't see on first glance let's dig into it first off I want to say Ben Q did send me this monitor to check out because they saw that I played a decent amount of video games well that's true at least I used to before you know like school

took over and now I have like no free time anyway looking straight at this monitor you wouldn't expect it to be any good the design is average and nothing really stands out about it its boxy it looks like a monitor from 2010 or a budget option today it doesn't look like a look at me mr. pro-gamer but instead it looks like hello I'll be doing your taxes today that's not a bad thing the monitors aesthetic is inoffensive in every single way but it does have some nice benefits an

HDMI port a DVI port a display port and a headphone jack sure the body of the monitor is made out of plastic but it's not just any plastic this is sturdy durable plastic there's no flex and there's no sign that they've cheaped out anywhere in that department now here's the first standout feature this monitor can tilt up and down can be height adjust it up and down swivel 180 degrees and check this out it can literally turn left or right that's right you don't turn the

entire base of the monitor but the display itself mind blown it really mitigates the need for a monitor arm and not many mothers in the  price range has this feature my daily driver 4k monitor cost nearly twice as much as that can't even do the thing that the BenQ can do the thing the thing and for whatever reason if you don't like the stand it's also VESA mount

compatible okay sure you tell me Jimmy monitors flexing their stands are great and all but what about the performance of the actual display well I'm glad you asked the display is a 24-inch TN panel which means you do get a color shift when you look at it off angle but that does

give you an inherent benefit this monitor has a one millisecond response time which is faster than your typical IPS display but that's not what makes it great what makes it great is it 144 Hertz refresh rate games look smooth playing on this thing in ways that are hard to describe everything flows more naturally and fluidly if you own a ps4 Nintendo switch you won't notice this benefit because well those are limited to 60 frames per second but if you game on PC you

can make use of this option and go into Maximum Overdrive so yes the monitor is great it offers a lot  but there are a couple of negatives for one based on my own experiences this monitor can only enter its 144 Hertz refresh mode DisplayPort and not through HDMI I may be messing up somewhere here but so far that's my conclusion again the display is TN so the color does shift while you're viewing it off angle but the color in general on the display looks alright it's not perfect but it doesn't have to be it's a it's a gaming monitor it's okay also the

menu system on this thing is a little clunky and hard to navigate it takes a bit of time to get used to overall what do I think about this monitor well it's a good option there's plenty of good 144 Hertz 1080p monitors out there varying in price but if you're looking for something that doesn't stand out in a room has an amazing stand and gives you that good competitive edge in video games this monitor might be it if you're looking for a great media viewing experience or a display for color sensitive tasks the same I think this
display is priced competitively and deserves to be checked it out.
