today I'll be unboxing assembling and reviewing the vh2 40 by HP the vh2 48 by HP is 20 3.8 inch IPS monitor a full 1080p 1920 by 1080p monitor and it's the cheapest monitor that I could find with height adjustability and swivel adjustability alright let's get into the unboxing put that away first cardboard box all right some hard packing for first up we have power cable let's look at the same cable that's my computer's power supply uses I'm gonna put that off-screen for now ah ,HDMI cable yes thank goodness because I don't have one Wow right all 


right we have or a power adapter this has an external power brick we have warranty stuff put that off-screen we also have a 3.5 millimeter headphone jacks so I guess that means that's the that the monitor has a port for this since it's an HDMI monitor it has built-in speakers which with because all you can be transferred over HDMI so I guess they are it also has an audio input suite so I got a free aux cord that's nice we have a thick ribbon of something here this 

here looks like the sound like the bee's knees of the standing and it is alright thank goodness it's not really a fingerprint magnet oh yes a static cling this reel right this is the back of the stand yeah son this is the part that actually holds up the monitor the monitor will be attached here which is kind of cool well not cool to do this required let's just put it that way put that over here oh and that is also your height adjustable at swivel stab this up right and here is the tunnel itself well three points each inches across let's have a look-see nice 1920 by 1080 P very nice 

because the monster I currently have is a 1600 by 900 monitor very nice and it also shows you instructions on how to assemble the Mount rest and how to get audio this is weird because you get audio over HDMI anyhow so I'm not sure what's going on here and power to wall turn on your height address height of swivel let's get this tip off oh look at this absolutely beautiful like these tiny bezels I guess this is why you could use this monster as a double or triple monitor setup because they are because if you have multiple of these monitors together oh it seems like 

we have a little defect over here see that is there any other defect nope a little bit at the top now this this defect stands out like a sore thumb all right um let's go to a different location as in like my dining room table and then I will assemble the monitor so let's get on with that all right welcome to my dining room table I have brought with me the monitor stop the Beast the height adjustable stand the monitor itself now I'll be assembling it here on my dining room table and yeah let's get started with that first thing I would like to note it note is that you don't need any 

tools to do this we have a whatever this is whoops sorry you guys did not see that see whatever this is you could use a screwdriver but since you have this retention thing handle here you could use this just to turn so you don't really need a screwdriver for this all right fit it in right I'm resting this on my knee I'm gonna turn turn the nut - that's tight then we push it on to the side this is kind of the same as some tripods the quick release mount no for the monitor itself again you don't really need you don't need any tools for this you have a lip kind of so you would place 

your monetary monitor which actually sits back here like look at this do you much of a sit back here and you'll end up with and this will be your retention force here you would also have to clamp it down at the bottom here and see that this is how you release the monitor or I guess you could put it close this in a monkey monitor because remember this monitor you can do height adjustability and you could also swivel it like E okay after a month the monitor you can turn it 

to the side yes yeah you can change the height and you could also turn it vertically turn the monitor vertically so you if so you need this thing at the bottom here so that it doesn't fall off so let's mount it or I will mount it and you will try to watch because I didn't really bother the camera poppin all right that is it no tools required easy assembly ah now let's head back to my room switch out my old 19 inch monitor put in this bad boy and transition I suppose alright so 

we're back in my room this is my old 19 inch monitor LG something something something I'll put it up on screen it's a glass monitor not IPS and it's well not like this and it's an LED and it has what you call it and the resolution is 1600 by 900 not very useful in today's day and age so if you try to play a game that has whose base resolution is 1920 by 1080 P or you let's say you open or you changer in game settings to 1080 P it will mark out of range out of our display range so yeah that's very limiting and I am an aspiring Video Editor / graphic designer / 

multimedia producer so I can't do any sort of accurate color anything on this monitor unless I'm using the the RGB codes you know those the hex the hexadecimal hexadecimal codes for colors so with that IPS monitor absolutely beautiful so let's get rid of this install that IPS monitor and call us today, all right check this out yeah yeah absolutely your sponsor I've seen better days I lied go scrap from the beginning hahaha actually before we install the new monitor the vh2 40I think it would be a good idea to attach the power and HDMI cables 

and rope duels before I put them up on my monitor riser ,okay so my banter is not behaving properly and it's not swiveling because I want to show you guys me plugging in the cables I don't want to force its heart break anything but it should be able to turn into in a landscape sorry portrait move Allah so minor gripe , all right we aren't done yeah install the monitor power that's the please all right just looking at it let's change camera angles that 

doesn't feel right all right I've brought you guys a bit closer to check out the panel and here it is well first my first thing I noticed is that Windows remember my old preferences for the monitor resolution so let's change that now display settings see 1600 by 1900 1920 by 1080 P yes Wow all right you see how many icons I have one side here let's move these two okay so I have 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 icons 10 icons going vertically let's change the settings back to 1600 by 900 , 1600 by 

900 keep changes and let's see how many icons we have no 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 8 icons to see that this is amazing that was my first time actually owning and seeing a full 1080p panel well yeah owning one at my school we have IMAX and those are old I don't know what the resolutions on those are but this is mine as awesome keep changes alright and nothing I wanted no what you guys to notice is our bezels we have very very tiny bezels and that is what I was talking about earlier when I say that you could use this monitor in particular for our dual monitor and triple 

monitor setups so if you want to have another monitor side-by-side you can use this because the bezels are very very tiny let me take the camera off the tripod and show you the bezels , all right that was just a little bit of b-roll of the bezels or the lack thereof of the bezels our last test is to check out the build the quality of the built-in speakers so I'm going to do the fit video oh this is um hardware conducts all right this is the audio from the teeth from the hunt for the 

monitor I ask you who that's from speakers speakers monitor speakers these are my craptastic USB speaker insert monitor nope nope do not absolutely do not use them on the built-in speakers for the HP vh too far to eat the name is right here and it's very subtle yeah absolutely do not use the speakers from this this it's a Kobe the speakers are very far this songs that they're very far inside of the back of the panel and the echo bunks all around the sound bunks 

all the way around before it comes out to you so it's very echoey and my craptastic speakers mean these are like super craptastic they still have the plastic on them yes they like legit still have a plastic on them so yeah absolutely you get a pair of headphones I'm not sure if headphones can plug into the monitor that's something I should check out yeah absolutely use a 

pair of headphones or or use a monitor or user speakers or use some absolutely do not use the the built-in speakers for the monitor all right guys that's was my unboxing assembly and quick review of the HP 240  the HP vh 240 if you have any questions about this monitor leave them in the comments down below and I'll be sure to reply as soon as possible .

quick rundown at some of the specifications it has a 23 point 8 inch display which is basically 24 inches IPS technology therefore even have better color than your typical TN panel 1920 by 1080 P resolution which is full HD that is great quality 5 millisecond response time and a refresh rate of 60 Hertz one HDMI one BG 8 a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack and it has built-in speakers I picked it up from Amazon  it was a great deal in my opinion because it's 

24 inches IPS technology and Full HD those are some great specs , typically your app has patterns are more expensive than a TN panel the perks on the users are basically your photographers and videographers the graphic designers pretty much those who need more in depth color I'll be unboxing this and setting it up in a time-lapse so you won't have to sit through a bunch of nonsense so I'm pretty keeping this thing open let's get right and , here's everything that came with the monitor we have the base of the stand auxilary cord power 

adapter HDMI cable the stand and the monitor itself now buddies follow me here's my issue this monitor only has three inputs that's right 3 HDMI VGA and auxilary but yet we only receive 2 the HDMI and auxilary this is not a monitor with 6 inputs it only has 3 why not give the consumer all three I understand vga is becoming an out-of-date technology but still there are still some machines that have only VGA so why not include it I personally don't like when I receive technology and it doesn't come with every single input but that's just my opinion you 

may feel a different way but anyways we're gonna set this monitor up so we back at it the stand is really really really easy to put together the difficulty level is on 0 all you have to do is attach the base understand and that's basically it at the bottom of the base there's a screw with the hook so you don't need any tools just grab that hook and twist it just twist it until you can't twist anymore to give it that security the monitor itself has about has like three clamps or three hooks and you can just clamp the monitor and stand together and everything will be set up if 

you want to detach there's a push down button that allows for easy simple detachment here we are about to give you the screen reveal itself voila it wasn't as smooth as I thought it was gonna be sheesh this is a nice monitor and I can't even laugh about that the best part are the thin bezels your bezels are the outer frame of the monitor so if you want a multi-monitor setup your best bet is to have a monitor with thin bezels to get that consistent flow from screen to screen whether if you want to duplicate or extend your screen on the back we have two built-in 

speakers but back to these beautiful sexy gorgeous thin bezels nothing looks better than some nice thin bezels especially for a multi-monitor setup you always want that consistency from screen to screen not like in the office building where you have some thick bezels now on the back we have the auxiliary of the VGA and HDMI to the bottom right of the monitor we have four menu buttons and the power button in a second I'm going to give you a demonstration of 

all the pivots the tilt and height adjustments this monitor does not tilt side to side but it's so mobile and easy to use you can easily just physically move it now to the pivot your pivot is basically switching your monitor tool go into a vertical position your photographers your designers they use this to get a better longer view of a particular picture and your coders who 

wants to look at a long line of code now you can also mount this monitor it has four screws on the back so if you have a arm arm mount or some type of wall mount you can easily do that that's all that time to the next time buddies.
