 well this right here is the Samsung essential curve to monitor it's a 27 inch display let's dig in I could already see the curve it's curved just like my lens I'm gonna hook up my playstation 3 the Batman 3 bundle the first piece taken off very gently it is the bottom of the stand other piece is the stand HDMI cable besides the monitor you will get the stand the HDMI cord and the power adapter let's put this bad boy on the table let's let it rip oh yeah wow I've never owned a curved display in my life and I just can't wait to turn this on back it supports HDMI VGA headphone 

jack and the power adapter I finally figured out what this piece is for it goes right inside of the monitor with this side right here clicks in it's like a puzzle piece this part just slides right in and then they already have a screw installed in it you just screw it back screw it in that was the simplest set up time to power this baby on the first ever boot it's happening on the front of the monitor if you look at the bottom right you will notice a blue LED light that indicates if the 

monitor is off or on you can notice the super slim curved panel this is kind of how it's going to look like once you've connected all your wires on the back right bottom of the monitor you will notice the power button it can also be used as a navigation button to change your settings and inputs for the monitor this monitor is 27 inches measured diagonally it even has these little caps for the HDMI cord I connected the HDMI cable now I'm just going to have to change the input 

setting now go to source this is a 1080p monitor so make sure to change a resolution on the laptop to 1080p instead of the recommended resolution if you're going to use this monitor to edit photos and videos it will do an excellent job the 1080p display is color accurate and the curve is just so pleasing to look at this is an LCD display it has a sink rate that maxes out at 60 Hertz and it has a 72% color gamut this monitor is great for gaming because it also includes 

some gaming mode that will change the color of the screen this has a response time of 4 millisecond and it supports 16.7 million colors give a thumbs up if your wall blade the screen is pretty impressive it is immersive and I can look at the whole video without straining my eyes if I look left and right I can see the whole screen without having to step further back this monitor has LED backlights and it has a standard aspect ratio of sixteen by nine that was a three legged turtle I saw the other day it has a screen curvature of 1800 R it uses TFT active-matrix 

technology this is my first experience with the curved display and noticed that it creates a wider field of view it enhances depth perception and minimizes peripheral distraction to draw you deeper into your content the only thing this doesn't have is a speaker so when I connect the HDMI to it I can't hear the volume of the video doesn't it just look like it's a video but I'm watching a video in a video from this video to this video to this video .

I'm sitting at my wife's new computer setup and you're probably distracted by the snowblind computer it off to my right don't look at it though because that's for another review all right don't look at it no I just saw you look at it and please don't look at it okay we're here talking about the Samsung CE 27f 396 LCD displays that you see in front of you these things are sexy today's market is standardizing the curved monitor displays due to their overwhelming 

popularity and realism filled a view minimal peripheral distraction color accuracy and aesthetics but in just two years the prices have significantly dropped making making it feasible for many people to own two or more to increase their productivity and their workflow the need to not only have graphical accuracy in gaming and designs have sparked many conversations regarding the ease of AI string so if you spend a lot of time sitting in front of a computer it only makes sense to jump on board this doesn't mean that sitting in front of a new curved monitor is 

good for you but it does ease the amount of strain while also turning your head this monitor was selling at Walmart  when I bought these for my wife but I've also seen him at the Samsung website  most recently this 27 inch LCD monitor has only one HDMI a VGA port three-and-a-half millimeter audio jack and if you're using a laptop you go in through HDMI probably want to use some headphones or some external speakers through it but I typically go through my regular computer for external speakers but there are no internal 

speakers on this the menu system is quite easy to manipulate via the joystick menu navigation knob it's very easy to use to navigate to your I saver mode for instance softening for colorization to increase the raishin of your project or your session and your game mode which instantly optimizes green colors and contrast for gaming to ensure you enjoy every scene at its very best that's straight from Samsung Samsung curved technology minimizes light leakage 

from the screen edges to ensure more uniform blacks across the entire viewing area samsung's flicker free technology minimizes distracting screen flicker to let you work and play for longer and greater comfort the max screen resolution is 1920 by thousand 80 at 60 Hertz with 4 millisecond seek time the standard ratio for this monitor is 16 to 9 aspect ratio it has a AMD freesync which minimizes stutter and ensures flawless smooth gameplay which I'm an Nvidia 

user and I have a GTX 1080 on my other computer and this one has a 27 t and with a recent software update from Nvidia you are able to turn on your G sync so you can actually use your AMD freesync I don't recommend you using the stand that comes with it unless you don't mind a little bit of wobble or if you have a very sturdy desk and you don't plan on ever bumping the monitors because they wobble quite a bit so I'll recommend that you get a VESA mount for 

desk mount or for a wall mount and go from there because they didn't do a very good job with those plastic stands but I'll link a couple of visa wall mounts and desk mounts for you down in the description below so you can check them out on your own as a dual monitor setup the expense makes it achievable with a respectable outcome as a minimalist straight clean lines are very important so when 2 of these monitors set up next to each other it gives a refined flush curve to your desktop as you see here so since this monitor only has one HDMI and my video

 card has 2 display ports and one HDMI port I had to order a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter for each monitor and they worked fall asleep what I used down below and they were only under nine dollars each my only HDMI port on my video card was used to link the snowblind panel that you see here so if you have the same sort of configuration keep that in mind anybody can Google any of the stats on anyone that they're looking to buy all these stats can be found on any review or vendor and there's a multitude of them out there so if you're not here to learn about

last them a long time and Samsung continues to deliver because I have six Samsung monitors in my house well two Samsung televisions one in my living room one in my studio and four curved Samsung monitors to a my wife's computer I'm two on mine and I'm very happy with it I haven't had any problems with them whatsoever though as always you know what to do.

millisecond response time so it's definitely better than this little RC a piece of garbage that I bought so it's all pretty NYX shall we where did I put my knife so it looks like we have to slice into the complete middle of the box that's depressing depressing ah got it alright alright there's one side open we're gonna close this knife for safety reasons this one up this oh man that is pretty freakin heavy hello this gun stares soon as I start foam in here 

it's real styrofoam that's good holy ball this thing's like noise look at this this right here is the new monitor I'm playing black ops for on from now on I needed someone a little bit faster response time so hopefully this comes in handy there's the power brick we got the monitor stand right here always gonna want to stand up your monitors oh no way did it come with me oh yo it came with HDMI port to a lot of times i order monitor doesn't come with HDMI so now I have extra HDMI thank god I've always needed HDMI is because I always freaking lose them 

so here is the beauty it's Samsung 27-inch curved monitor we're gonna go ahead we're gonna set this up and then we'll do some gameplay for you guys see how it see if it actually changes how bad I am at black ops 4 we'll see alright so update uh-huh I actually got really freaking mad because I had to move some stuff so basically this is this is like not permanent I'm gonna like really put aside some time here in a minute to really fix it up here's what it looks like right 

now you know so there's my computer monitor my microphone my webcam and this is things like it's beautiful so I didn't feel off the plastic because I know a lot of people like to watch that one down and now oh my god okay you know what I'm gonna put the camera down and then we're gonna figure this out okay BRB okay we finally got all the tape off guys it took forever dude I don't know why it made it so complicated to just take tape off a freaking monitor but

much made it go on all right I mean look eight and four did that's the best KD I've had ever in quality this monitors good dude no but in all seriousness I am very appreciative of this monitor like it's very nice and it's just like I don't know I've never had something like this to play a game on like it's curved and magical so I'm just like whoa I do believe after a little bit of time I will get better I'm just not the best hand-eye coordination wise so I'd say probably about a month or two I'll definitely have the skills needed to do some serious damage so I'm gonna keep 

on grinding for the time being I know a lot of people are better than me anyway other than that thing you guys so much watch the review . the Samsung 27-inch it's a curved monitor 1920 by 1080 P the inputs and outputs forward is the VGA HDMI and it's got a headphone jack to it as well it's a 16 megahertz monitor it's got 4 millisecond response time and there's AMD freesync so if you're running AMD graphics for it it will help smooth out the gameplay the model number is the C to seven f 3 9 6 some of the more specialized specs of this thing is an LED backlit it is 16 by 9 ratio full HD 1920 by 1080 or 64 60 Hertz like I mentioned it's 3001 color contrast ratio caller support is 16.7 million caller:i 

horizontal and a vertical reviewing angles is 178 degrees both ways the panel type 1 is things of VA and like I mentioned earlier the interfaces in the VGA HDMI and headphone jack it does have a flat panel mount interface which means you can be mounted it you know you put it on a wall mount or something like a 75 by 75 millimeters for that I don't know why but it says it requires Windows 10 I owe a what that's about display position adjustment it's got tilt to it it 

goes from a negative to to a plus 22 which is pretty good till it does come with an HDMI cable and that's about all Godwin that's for the specs ago I think that's pretty good run down the specs now this ain't a it is a named brain monitor it's Samsung they make pretty good monitors I picked it up yesterday on my way home from work from a girlfriend for a Christmas present that was one December the 23rd 2019 I'm a body of local big-box store all right guys that's the specs of the monitor let me get reset up here and I'll get this thing I'll show you opening up and 

we'll see what it comes with and my first thoughts of the quality that it's made with I'll be right back let me get reset up all right guys here is in this box let's get this thing open up and see what all comes with this note shall we yes we shall get the tape on the ball I guess just with the tape cut open on it open up the flaps we got styrofoam okay first piece of styrofoam mouth things like your tax pretty well put that to the side and then you got the monitor itself it's also in protective ret set that to the side and up picture style foam here pull that out alright and we 

got box of goodies here what's this it looks like it's gonna be the neck of the stand there we have the base of the stand right there got the owner's manual now what we go ahead looks like the power for to it and the HDMI cable and here's another part of the necessary wall jack for the power cord okay okay here's the monitor itself go ahead and pull the plastic coating off of it or the style from bag this comes in there we go and there's a pretty get close to it okay head of the

 neck to it the price to goes from the base up to the monitor let's see how we're going to get this thing out of the bag that's like so and we'll go ahead and peel the plastic off of this there we go and we'll pull the stand base out of the bag remove the plastic coating that's on there dan seems to be pretty strong now it's plastic does have a plastic base to it but it seems it was pretty sturdy yeah it's pretty well constructed course Carlton stamps on the be those your screw that hooks 

up from the base up into the neck out of the base looks like this thing slides into it just hook it put grooves together and slide it up in there's like so little tap you get it in there good you have to one screw here that's a fix to the base now it's all lined up right tighten it down okay there we go then they're good and strong let's flip the monitor over her and see how we hook that thing up there we go the age of 75 millimeter vise and mount well if you want put it on an arm or if you want to attach it to the wall be able to do so there's HDMI this is your RGB M which is a 

VGA the headphone and your power that looks like some kind of little locking mechanism or something so if you'd want to lock it down and pull this plastic off , okay and it looks like this just slides up in during it clips into place those are because a clip will stand it up here we can see what I'm talking about looks like you just got a clip in it I don't know how you'd ever won how you ever take it back up or if you ever need to but we'll come across that if we ever decide to do that take your slide down in give it a little tap the locks down in there and there's 

what it looks like once you have the stand then put on let me get hooked up here guys and we'll see what it looks like what's this turned on all right guys there it is all hooked up for the controls on it right here on the right hand side right behind this little Jewish stick let's see what all we got we got a restored we've got a source we have a nice able mode that's a return that's power off and that's the menu let's see what all we have in the menu we have picture which is

 brightness contrast roping this collar now upscale was off HDMI black level was low let's see what else is down through there I say we Motors off game mode is off optimize images settings for your playing games response time is on faster accelerate the panel response rate to make video appear more vivid in natural picture sizes wide choose the size of a racy aspect ratio of the picture displayed on the screen okay then we got the on-screen display transparent ears on position English display time under systems we've got your free sync on and off echo saving 

Plus off timer PC AV mode source detection is auto key repeat time is accelerated standby power LED on which is on standby and it's got a reset button on all of them and that has your information hdmi 67.5 kilohertz which is 60 Hertz 1920 by 1080 optimal mode 1920 but then 80 60 Hertz you push down again straight to your brightness and your sharpness and all that if push up on it it takes you to that down takes you to that right give you your volume push it to 

the left it's volume so right and left gives you volume controls you flick in then on it it brings you up to the main menu where you have all the settings alright let's see how the picture looks on the video while returning out of blaster fires it looks pretty good to me all right oh I went through the specs of the vulnerable with you I did the unboxing oh sure you would all come with it show you what it looks like when it's all hooked up I went through the controllers it 

comes with the monitor I think it's pretty nice monitor for the price not bad and the main thing is I think we were friendly be happy with it which that's what really concerns me can I recommend this monitor you know monitors and peripherals are usually don't add in them a build because they are so objective and I depends on what you're looking for and whatnot man seem to be well built seems to have a nice looking display to it does have the VA panel to compare to a 10 yen or not PS panel may it be good maybe bad depends on what your what 

you're wanting so you know I really can't say if I'd recommend this monitoring on without being able to tested for some time you know it's hard to say how it's going to hold up I really don't like on the reviews but you know it is what it is and with that being said yeah something won't get out of here for the day give me a thumbs up .
