hello and welcome to my review of the Samsung cf-31 curved gaming monitor , if you have not seen the unboxing I did for this monitor please check it out using the link in the description before I begin please leave a comment with any questions thoughts or suggestions that you may have I've had this monitor for over three months now and that is more than enough time to formulate an honest review giving you guys the good the bad and the ugly about

the monitor first of all Samsung is a very reliable brand - whether you are buying a smartphone TV or monitor when you buy a Samsung product you expect it to perform well this monitor delivers let's start with the looks this is a 32 inch full HD 1920 by 1080 monitor with a 60 Hertz refresh rate 5 millisecond response time and it curved display the display has a five thousand to one contrast ratio it has an option called energy-saving Plus which basically uses less power in

order to save energy it looks incredibly sexy which is how it caught my attention as I walked around the beds by the bezels around the display are very thin adding to that gorgeous look the monitor comes in three pieces the display the neck of the stand and the base st. setting it up is not hard at all as I put it together in a minute or so on the back of the display we have one HDMI port one display port one headphone jack and the port to give this baby power I wish

Samsung could have added an extra HDMI port but I guess it's not a big deal on the lower left of the bag you also have the controls which is just one rotating button on the front you have the display with thin bezels as well as an LED indicator which blinks blue if the display is turned on and solid blue when it's turned off like I said this is a 1080p display which looks very nice obviously a UHD or a 4k display would look better but this is still a good display nonetheless out of the box the color representation is horrible of his monitor needs some serious

configuration but once that configuration was done the picture quality was quite pleasant watching videos on YouTube or Netflix is very pleasant and gaming is also a joy browsing the web you're going to notice some very small pixels especially if you're sitting close to the display that is one downside of not being 4k another thing I found difficult to manage is changing the picture quality when you are switching from gaming to reviewing or browsing the web the display does have a game mode which I recommend using as the games do look in my

opinion but other settings have to be configured the game mode instantly optimizes screen colors and contrast to make the games more pleasant visually one thing I noticed is that if a setting looks good while watching videos it's probably not going to be looking the best for gaming or browsing the web and vice versa one other thing that is hard to get used to is the control once you get used to them they are very easy to navigate but until then it's annoying the reason why this is not such a big deal in my opinion is because in comparison to other monitors

mark other controls are just playing bad these are at least easy to reach and you don't have to constantly look at some symbols that tell you what each button does so when you compare the controls of this monitor to other ones this one wins so that's sort of a positive in some ways now let's talk about the speakers or absence of I'm not sure if I'm just really dumb that I don't see the speakers or if they they're just not here altogether the monitor does have a volume adjustment in the settings but even if you put the volume all the way up and set the computer to monitor or sound there's no sounds maybe there are no speakers and the

volume setting is just there to control the volume for when you have earphones plugged in as it does have a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack on the back as far as I know there are no speakers which is not a big deal if you're buying a monitor for gaming or for computer use you're most likely and should use a separate pair of headphones because with my experience with monitor speakers they're never that good and a lot of people can agree with me on that argument I've owned multiple monitors in the past all of them being around the 24 inch mark I have to say

going from a 24 to a 32 inch monitor took a little bit of getting used to but it wasn't all that bad one thing I would recommend is if you're going to buy a 32 inch monitor  I say you just take the extra step and just buy a u HD or 4k monitor some--you HD monitors  but are around 27 to 28 inches there are also monitors around that price point which with faster response times and better refresh rates which may appeal to more consumers just keep that in mind if you're planning on buying if I would have known at that time that I

bought this monitor I would have just bought one of those instead this display is still very good and I would easily recommend it to someone looking for a full HD display .

this 32 inch curved modern yes this big guys I can't even fit it in the camera so without further ado let's unbox this and let me give you my initial impressions let you know what it comes with so let's bust out the cake knife and get right into this so we get a bunch of styrofoam protecting this 32 inch beauty it has a 4 m/s response time 1080p I wish you could I wish it was working for TP that would make it like the super sweet spot , okay so does it come on the stand to save space which is cool but like yeah this is the size she's so before I simply let me tell you a

little bit about the specifications so the like I'm saying has that four and that's created a response time it is 60 Hertz 1080p like I was saying I do it shows 1440p because I believe this becomes retina at over 50 inches so you know if you're sitting arm's length you're probably not sitting more than 30 inches away from your display while you're gaming to really take advantage of this 1,800 our curvature but the bezels are thin it's only a half inch thick so it

looks beautiful especially if you have a white desk or a white PC case this would go perfect for an all-white setup well let me set it up and do exactly what this monitor is marketed for that immersive gaming experience and play some games and let you know how much I enjoy it and if 32 inches is too big how big is too big for a monitor I have a 21 and a half inch monitor to give you an idea of this scale so definitely 32 inch display is slight mix of bounds bigger than a 21 and a half inch display so let's take a look at the connectivity back here except we only have a

display port HDMI port audio jack and the power connection so let me turn these around so you get a better look at the bezel on this white beast whoo check it out okay it looks super sick I cannot wait to game on this so let me let me show you the tilt options here so it doesn't tilt so I decide although it is VESA mount compatible and that's something you want to do there you do have tilt up and down this is IPS so it has in 78 degree decreed viewing angles so this monitor is very vibrant with the contrast ratio of three thousand to one is brightness is at 215 it's which isn't on the brightest side of the monitor spectrum but it is a very high contrast monitor and it is IPS and it does have really nice curvature and it is pretty beautiful.

a 32 inch Samsung curved monitor this is a great gaming monitor an all-around monitor it's not a 4k just to let you know not a 4k it's one of the best monitors I bought for the price it's worth it it's mark which is a great Buy and imagine yourself buying two of these suckers surrounding yourself it's one of those awesome little features so today we're gonna open it up and we're gonna actually add a game so you guys can see the quality on the video itself I'm gonna put this as a 4k video so you guys can see the quality and the sharpness of the beat of the

actual monitor the quality coming through and then we're gonna talk about a couple of things that that you might have an issue with it or you might not have initiatives so let's find out now open it up alright so what you get first when you open it you gotta make sure you open down sir inside them it tells you where is up and winds down so first of all to stand this is important a specific stand from the last model if you have this is totally different this is actually it's a metal piece now before they had a curve like a circular part of it now it's just pretty much you mount

the actual face in here and of course it comes with two screws you know you need a Phillips - Phillip - just to screw them in so just make sure you you keep this this is aluminum it's not heavy it's aluminum and plastic on the bottom so we're gonna keep this on the side for now actually we're gonna keep it up here and the neck of course you get the neck for the Cooper monitor it's one of those neck monitors that it's pretty neat it's pretty decent we could actually paste it right now together so these are the instructions for this because it's basically it comes

like a puzzle piece it kinda it's like a Lego it fits in perfectly once you have it in there you pretty much could screw this there you can basically just come in here and tighten it up with a screwdriver make sure it fits in well and spin it spin it make sure until it kind of make sure it locks in this feature is pretty neat I've not seen this before I seen the other model where it actually just mounts it to the base but this time you have to actually have the base it's like a it's the bottom of the base it's not me it's pretty neat so put this on the side screwdriver out of the

way this will put it up first of all to give you oh they give you an HDMI cable along with the instructions make sure you review the instructions before you do anything else I've done that be ready with these models so we're gonna go ahead and then skipping down and the most important thing this is the power adapter now the power box here it's a smaller version the other one was pretty bulky that one last one I had they actually swim down so it's not bad and of course because what all this tape and glue so you just skipped it together so we're gonna

untangle this because we're gonna need it we're gonna open it up and preview it here so I'm gonna move this aside open this aside oh man this is a heavy sucker oh this is heavy but we're gonna open it up now this is the actual monitor it's a 32 inch really good monitor I mean I had great great reviews on this one and of course it's one of those models that mark it's not a 4k but right now you don't really need a 4k for the graphic cards that they come with there's only a couple of and 4k graphic cards up there and you know we're talking about

the Nvidia isn't very expensive but if you have a regular video car like a 1070 1080 this will be more than enough this is actually pretty sharp I play with this a couple of games with it it looks great on it so right now what I'm gonna do is I'm just gonna end up finishing the mounting of the day of course let me let me spin it back here first so right behind this part you got the power you got an audio input of course because there's audio in here and then there's HDMI and a

display cable connection so now this part is very slim they slid it down they actually trimmed it down I used to be a bulky run circle circular system that it was just the base of it but now it's pretty much just dragging here find the pieces locks in and you're set now now you have more space to actually move this thing around this is pretty heavy the top of it but it's just it's just an awesome awesome graphics that you could run into here right now we're just gonna turn it on

and see if we can try to a game or something with that look let me just take a look at it and see what you guys think right now so this is the 32 inch it's a Samson it's fairly clean all of it it's all white it's like a ivory white pretty much the bottom base is silver so overall I am stuck with these monitors and  you should just be thrilled to have some diapers on me and who ever knew that they were gonna curve and become these kind of technologies but I am so loving these kind of monitors so we're gonna talk about a couple of things on it for first

let's crank this up now to turn on the machine there's a button in the back on the other side in back of the monitor it's an actual joystick it looks like a little choice to take a little analog line so you have till you actually click it to select the scene and then you can move up and down right now we're just cranking it up for the first time now we're gonna go to the maximum resolution of the megapixels that we're gonna run in here so right now the highest is is the

resolution is 1920 by 1080 this is not bad you know it's decision right for regular games in good quality now one one thing I didn't like about these thing says sometimes you got to make sure that it's working properly and the way you would do it is you just make sure you put something black in the screen and if you see a mega pick a pixel like burned out there's a way you can fix that don't panic don't call it in don't send it out there's a way you can repair that so once in a

while you'll see a burn pixel somewhere if it's a nation that's missing don't panic as well since that these things happen a lot especially when you're playing a lot of games you're mobilizing or you move this thing around you know they do get damaged but that's something that can be fixed now if there's a couple of youtube links that will help you fix the pixelation if you're missing a couple pixels you play this random video that they have where it starts lighting up and and and doing different scenarios and stuff like that eventually it's after half an hour it

does fix this resolution all right so if fix is in it and it cleans up it kind of wakes up the pixelation to you know go ahead and start lighting up again but I've seen that before and and I happen to run into those YouTube videos where I just running and if you research on it there's so much videos out there just to fix these kind of scenarios so don't panic on that that's the only bad draw that about this system that once in a while you do see something like that but overall you shouldn't have a problem only one of the mother has only one of the monitors have given

me a promise before with that from the Russell they've been running so great I actually got this one for a user and I think he's gonna love it more than just love it it's a 32 inch monitor and you can't ask for anything else it pretty much has the highest pixelation right now that I've seen at for the price  is well worth it especially if you're playing games so right now we're gonna open up a game right now what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna open up a game and let you guys see how it runs this is not a very good graphical game that can show up but it shows a

lot of color in there that's why I'm gonna open it up right now you might see it that it colors often one end it's because it's a curb screen remember it's a Curt screen it's made for the individual to sit right in front of me so the individual could see perfect pixelation perfect color around him so right now what it's running it's running a great graphical there's no pixelation is missing over here and it's one of those green monitors they have some great features in here so if you have problems with the brightness on the monitor there is a fix for this there have a

solution when you click on the buddy let me see if I can reach it when you click on the buddy you can actually change it to ease on the eyes when you actually click on the back of it I'm gonna actually gonna reach in the back there's another option right to the left of it at the exit to the right of it you have my area to ease the eyes and it kind of puts it in a little dull it kind of bends it down so it won't be too bright for you and it's one of those options are great for those people that have problems with the with it with the with the brightness so another thing I'm

gonna put it back to who I was and it comes back to high visibility now now right now I have computer course right now and I'm not gonna get in the plane and up I'm just Deming I'm just gonna demo how strong and high-end this monitor it really is because for the price people think always a boy the price is because it's so cheap but I'm telling you it's one of those great monitors if you have two of these to go with you it's perfect you know it's just the and now that

they're gonna have some seamless connections for the monitors that asus is introducing and in a couple months I can't wait to just get two of these and set that up in the center so it could be a whole video on there or you could watch a whole game on it it's just one of those awesome things features I can't wait to see or review in a couple of weeks I hope so now take a look at it .

Samsung 32-inch Curved LED Monitor (Ultra- Slim Design) (LC32F391FWNXZA) review

32 inches so I went home and I told my wife and my daughter and they're like you should just go get it treat yourself to a new monitor for my for doing my webpages and doing my review and stuff so anyway today I did it so here it is it is a samsung samsung and it is a 32 inch curved curved monitor and so anyway let's unbox it here it is and this time I got a knife sorry the scissors don't work so well when I'm doing unboxing videos so huge I think my wife said this I think it's bigger than our first TV that we bought when we were first married oops just cut my

share dining room chair that's not good right all right these monitors are always hard you know this is what it looks like he's opening it up there we go so there it is the curved monitor my daughter didn't like it being white but I know how it might have been white there you go look at that look at the curve to it that's pretty sweet right yeah want to show you the back so these are the connectors that are on the back they have an hdmi displayport and then a power

and then a port where you can put speakers on it with it it doesn't come with any speakers it's just a curve monitor a 32-inch it's huge but it's pretty light let's see what else is here in the box here's the second styrofoam and here is looks like a power cable see that and then oh nice they actually gave me an HDMI cord I was really worried that I was gonna have to go buy one so here's the second half put this up here the second half of the power cord so goes right there just plug it into that there you go so there's my full power cord so here is the power cord it plugs

right into this little power brick and then this part plugs into the actual monitor this is the HDMI cord that it comes with I'll put a link down in the description of HDMI so both ends are HDMI I'll put a link in the description too where you can buy this on Amazon or did you want to buy it on Costco you can buy it Costco calm so I bought it  so a 32-inch  that's pretty cheap so this is just the base so it sits like that the clips down into here it looks like there's some screws on the bottom so you just tighten those screws and it connects to the top

part of the monitor I didn't look at these frenzies or anything it just looked self-explanatory this looks like the other parts maybe the neck part of the monitor stand so let's see here I'm sure this goes right in here you know that goes in there and then my monitor sits right on there so I've got to tighten these screws up just like I don't do with my fingers that's kind of nice I'm gonna get out a screwdriver to make sure it's nice and tight I want this thing oh no the first

time I use it you know so there is the stand and let's see if I can put it together right here in front of you okay so I think this fits on right there you should go like that there goes its snap dog yeah that looks I don't know I don't think it has any tilt to it I'm just gonna have to live with it just like that so a couple of things I noticed right off the bat with this monitor all right there aren't any holes on the back normally the monitors will have like holes here in the back so that you can connect it to a wall bracket or something like that doesn't have that and then this

doesn't have a swivel at all on the stand so I can't move it up or down or back and forth or anything it does have a power button here on the edge and again there's my connectors and I think that is it so I'm gonna go put it up in my office and see what it looks like okay here we go I'm going to be putting this monitor on my desk we'll see if it even fits so this is a size monitor that I've had before right there and now this is no no we'll see how this goes okay it's plugged in now I'm going to plug it into my Mac which I think it's on HDMI port can't move it okay you

see what it does detecting oh you got haven't turned it down yet holy mackerel look at that oh my gosh oh my gosh that is so huge wow that is HUGE that is such a huge display yeah compared to this little guy it's like not even compare it it's hard to see in the video how small it is compared to this one I mean I've seriously got to move my head back and forth to see both sides of this thing look at all that real estate oh there's so much more I can see now well let's go to my channel see what it looks like there we go down old dad so there you go there's the

unboxing and connecting of my Samsung 32-inch curved screen monitor if you want one you can buy one they're really cheap right now  I mean I saw other ones that were  more than this  for this monitor so again I'll leave a link in the description go up buy it from Amazon.
