what's up guys and today I'm going to review my Asus 24h LED monitor it's a 24 inch LED display and you guys have been asking for a review for this for a long time now and I'm barely getting around to doing it but what I'm gonna do is just go over the design and then after that I'm gonna show a lot of gameplay for my xbox and ps3 games and then I'll tell you guys if I like the monitor or not and then I'll show you some of the biggest flaws of it which I know some of you guys are not gonna like but yeah so let's get into it now alright so it's a 24 inch LED

monitor matte screen has the Asus logo on the bottom and the round stand and this HDMI is stuck on here I can take out this little energy star sticker if I wanted to but I just haven't and on the back might be a little dusty I don't know it has Asus and then it has these little plugs that go in for the base amounts there you go Allen came out and you can just screw in the mount here so you can mount it onto the wall and on the stand here it has this little circle or nut circles little cutout this hole so once you have all your cables connected into here you can run them through the here and just go straight down to the back of your desk and over here has a little

Kensington lock hole and on the bottom it has the power over here then it has audio in and out the out is for your headphones or whatever you have HDMI DVI and VGA and the way I got this set up is I got the DVI for my monitor for my computer and I got the AC am i running to my xbox so I could just switch the inputs and I could play my xbox or go in the computer or whatever I want and that's the basic design of the monitor over here we have all the buttons

and got the power the input button the brightness menu the volume and the volume and the brightness when are to navigate through the menus which it was a little hard at first but I got used to the navigation after like 10 minutes and to calibrate the monitor take me about 15 minutes but once I spent calibrating it you came out two colors that I really like and this blend I'm not sure what it does I think is just to exit the menus and that's about it all right so what I spent most of my time doing on these monitors is sorry about that I I surf the web of course I go on YouTube stuff like that but most of the time I'm editing video watching movies or playing

my xbox or ps3 on here and for those three things I never notice any problems at all but once I get into going on the internet or typing up something in Word or in a document or something like that and I start moving around the the window you do notice ghosting I didn't notice it at first I mean somebody had to write me a message on Twitter not on Twitter on YouTube and they asked me does your monitor have ghosting and then I checked and it did but I didn't notice it at first I had to look for it and then once I found it I always saw it it was kind of

annoying at first but I got used to it when I'm on like I said when I'm on web pages or typing something up you do notice it a little bit I'm vary a little bit but when you're on video when you're editing video watching movies or playing games I never noticed it at all I try to find it couldn't find it did you notice any problems with that but I'm gonna show you examples right now I'm probably already have of the ghosting and I tried the same things that I did on my

monitor on my MacBook Pros monitor and that has no ghosting at all but these monitors do so if you guys wondered if it had ghosting yeah it does I saw some videos on YouTube of people complaining about it and they were right and I have two monitors I don't know if I could let me show you guys I have two monitors I have the same exact monitor and I have a to monitor setup and on both of them you notice the ghosting and yeah it kind of bugs me a little bit but I mean it's a monitor 1080p each led and foremost like 90% of the time I'm working with

video or watching movies or stuff like that so I don't it doesn't bug me but I could see how it could bug some people so if you guys are really you guys really don't want ghosting and this probably isn't the great greatest monitor to choose because it does have ghosting problems and that's the that's the main problem that I found with this monitor the other problems that I found is that the speakers that are built in their stereo speakers are not that great they're alright for the most part but they're not that great even at max volume you can barely hear

them and the sound just sounds kind of crappy so did you guys all these gameplay videos the gaming looks fine on it the videos look great I can't show you guys any movies because the copyrights or whatever but the videos look great when I'm editing in Final Cut Pro 10 or an iMovie everything looks fine I don't notice any ghosting or anything like that I just noticed it when I have letters on like white background and they're moving around then you really notice it a lot and I do notice it on both monitors so it must be all the ASIS the 24h monitors that have that problem oh and I almost forgot about one other problem that these monitors have is the

viewing angle show some examples right now when you start walking around and moving mostly up and down you see that the monitor changes brightness and color a little bit and that kind of sucks but for the most part I'm using my monitors while I'm sitting down on my desk and I don't never notice that problem but if you're gonna have to use it while you're walking around or moving around it a lot you will see that problem so I have two of these monitors because I thought it was a pretty good value  1080p matte display LED everything

that I wanted but it does have those issues but like I said 90% of the time I don't see the problems so it doesn't bother me but I hope that you guys can see my examples and figure out if you would be bothered by those problems or not I I'm pretty sure that a lot of you guys are gonna hate the ghosting so you probably won't want this monitor which I understand it's cool but for me I really like it I never noticed it in my gaming never in my videos nothing like that

and the viewing angle I'm always on my desk I don't see I'm not walking around my dad so I don't see the the viewing angle problems and the speakers the built-in speakers that does kind of suck but I'm probably buy some speakers from my desk so yeah that was my  review of the monitors hope you guys liked it I know it took a while but I've been having problems with

my computer I ran out of memory and all this stuff so if you guys have any more questions I hope I covered everything but if you have any more questions please leave it down in the comments and I'll answer them .

Asus v24 8h if I'm not mistaken monitor now I actually have unpacked it already I've used it for a few days since the show what was included in the box no and the more she's out so it was protected by this taking of foam inside accessories that I didn't need for the use of their master these are their end caps and just lasting band for holding the VGA cable that's currently out this is your HDMI cable included with this is your European blog for the mantra included and it was also yeah I'm using it and standard UK or Irish plugs which I'm using as I'm currently

an ardent this is your stereo to stereo leaf at three eight three and a half mill thank you for your audio input into the monitor from BC or whatever l or the device using quick user's guide and the baggie thingy that was protecting the monitor okay no don't hold this I'm gonna show you the monetary go mmm ice that's the famous a sous monitor now what do we have on the bottom we have a splendid technology bottom is basically our presets for video makes the screen

brighter or darker faster response time slower response thanks for gaming a movie you're watching and so on happy enough and this is for your volume or brightness or for menu up down and up menu portion input selection and the power button power is actually orange not very bright when it turns on its blue it's very nice if you have a dark room where you like to keep your monitor power input that's your HDMI DVI and VGA and your green and black

ports that's for your audio the black one is for input if I'm not mistaken the green one is for output should you decide to extend the two headphones external speakers so that's the monitor itself okay now we got power it on and here we are back guys there we go switching on the monitor hey you Seuss logo and we're back on now show you the modes there quickly standard mode theater mode game mode night view mode srgb I'm actually using this it's quite good senior remote stand up mode again also not too bad you won't get your eyes tired of the more

like damage game mode that's supposed to be a faster response times and such menu top and downs have splendid mode selection and customization in color image input select and set up okay such as language actually I'm gonna go into that for those who are not from english-speaking countries you have English oh there we go I don't know what that is Chinese or Japanese yeah Russian needleman's daleon Spanish French back to english okay now how do we get back that this is for your escape okay back back if you press this once for a brightness

then you can go up down up a brightness back out also manufacture this for volume and then you can go up and down these buttons for volume a little bit tricky at first but um easy enough to get used to onion 1/4 VGA DVI HDMI back to the G ok now oh sorry guys the very last thing is your LED so there we go not annoying at all now I'm gonna try to switch off this computer first BJ no signal on the screen and they go that's all okay so nothing too annoying that could keep you up at night that's it guys I'm one more thing when you're connecting the cables I

found handy I'll show you very quickly they all labeled way what goes so because they are connecting from the bottom up sometimes it's a bit of hard to see where what is connect you have to touch there and whatnot but if it's daylight BAM you know everything there okay know what that beams coming from sorry wait this is your also mounting points for the wall bracket or whatever external markets you might want to use .

ASUS VE248H 24" Full HD 1920x1080 2Ms HDMI DVI VGA Back-Lit LED Monitor

24 inch LED backlit my own weather LCD monitor that's available or that was available on Newegg I got the hook-up like a couple weeks ago it was like one discount free shipping so a little bit around 115 before tax and looks like it has increased in price to 134 many nice exclusive deal now I've had these exact model monitors set 2012 I'm so impressed with them dad I've decided buy another one considering I got new Dell XPS desktop

for youtubing and I got a new style of desk I'll actually do a 3-mile yourself for the first time in my life at home now I have three Marcelo at work but this is for home use write all about that YouTube front door sliced open and by the way because my video monitor I mean my video car kept on your hand at HDMI display part and DVI so I do have to get a converter this is the Amazon basics HDMI to display converter straight out of the box you have a typical instruction manual pretty neat straight far right there , here we go combo is home security pact the

bottom stand we have VGA cable and DVI cable you can tell right off the bat we've got the power supply card lift off the top and there's a beautiful monitor and self , so here's how it looks like after it's tightened now you can't elevate this it doesn't move up and down all he does is rotates slightly for a different viewing angle and it doesn't really swell though so that's pretty much the standard design basis is I believe it's a Taiwan brand

with this plastic film no complaints on them high quality products I've had it since 2012 exact same model like I mentioned before no missing pixels dead pixels no issues at all not even like a blink or any hitch let's go ahead and take a side view it's not a slimmer design but it's not also the thickest on the back Asus logo power supply cord goes right there that's the HDMI DVI and VGA output along with I believe that's the audio jack yeah let's go help this up see how it

performs alright guys so that's my three monitor setup and the stand up desk make sure you check out the review and here is the amazonbasics HDMI to display port cable that's available on Amazon for three feet is  1099 46 feet version comes wrapped up in this simple container amazonbasics has some nice stuff on sale for example the Tri bottom using record this is actually from Amazon basics and make sure you check out that review also so this is a quick look at the cable itself it looks like to protect both ends does appreciate it but it might be

a little bit overkill and I'm pretty sure this is the HDMI side and that's the display part side so imagine is not a cement if you come along you know this the middle so that's the display part my sound logo right there that's pretty much it let's go ahead and hook this up and see how the amount performs so here's my current sup guys got my old in my new desktop let's go ahead and power this up get all my components connected first time SSD baby real quiet right there you won't believe it it took me forever to figure this out for some reason it would detect the

monitor but it won't display and give me that no VGA display error message why here's one thing we connect the monitors don't assume the automatically knows it's type of input whether it be DVI HDMI VGA so what you have to do here is adjust it and make show you the error message so it was like that right so I'll give me that VGA no signal so we have to do is when you connect it adjust it make sure is HDMI there you go and it's gonna pop up and everything is

peachy there you go very awesome display these are exact same models I've had these like a submission for seven years no issues I don't see any dead pixels at all Earvin is vibrant let's check out the vibrant colors of the monitor let's go ahead and play a short video just to finish out round out the review let's go ahead and play this one how about that so this awesome American bodø drinking saltwater yesterday yeah definitely a sharp picture large beautiful

display 24 inches up is the only way to go baby same exact design as the model back in 2012 nice bezel you got all your buttons down here laid out all right power bun I'm not going to these in detail there's an input type changing the color everything that you know and love it's all highly adjustable what can I say guys highly recommend it Asus is an awesome brand

especially if there are holidays available give on a discount on a scale of one to two percent what do I write these Asus 24 inch LCD monitors I highly recommend them I'm hope these up with a 90 percent .

my new 24 inch LED monitor I got this to use it with my macbook pro 13 inch and I just want something a little bit bigger for a while I'm at home to get more work done a little easier and all that I mean I like the 13 inch screen and I could probably do everything I need to do on it but it's just more efficient to have a larger screen with a little bit more resolution even if I had like the 17-inch MacBook Pro I'd probably still go for a external monitor so this is the one that I

picked that out it's a Asus 24 inch LED monitor got it off amazon.com they're about and a few reasons why I picked this one I wanted something that was 24 inches because I went to the I went to Best Buy and I tried a few monitors there and I liked that size and I wanted something that was had a matte screen so I didn't have any glare I still have better but a little less and I also wanted led to save some power and here it is what you got inside we got the

mount open up like a glossy glossy man they gotta peel this off and you'll be nice and shiny just screw this onto the monitor got that we have the power cord plug into the wall and we have the audio quartz and it does have built-in speakers but I heard they weren't that great put it into the laptop and you get some positional monitor this is the DVI which is this is what I'm gonna use to light just by a DVI to mini DisplayPort I haven't opened it up yet though and I'll

probably make a separate video of connecting it to my macbook this defenses will have followings with connecting an external monitor and there's the VGA and then we have some instructions instructions on how to put together basics some more paperwork pop it out you guys put this on the floor forgot to mention that it took about two weeks to ship to me it's kind of drunk I guess I think I ordered it before I got my my crusher put that down sketching up the desk and that's it you guys if you guys can see it's 24 inch widescreen 1080p that display ASIS

on the back let me just switch to another angle so I can show you guys how to put it together and how it looks when it's set up alright alright guys to attach the base to the monitor you gotta align these little arrows that are here on the monitor itself and the arrows that are on the mount just slide it in and then you screw the little screw this at the bottom by hand so it's nice and tight and that's it alright guys so this is a quick view of the bottom of the monitor so you can see the ports this is the audio in for the built-in speakers audio out for some headphones HDMI

DVI and VGA and on the other side we have the power supply alright guys I got my monitor off to the mini DisplayPort adapter I just wanted to show you guys really quick that it has a glossy back and that it has the base amounts in the back of the monitor so if you want to mount it to the wall or something like that and that's pretty much it now I'm gonna just show you guys a clip of a post up to my monitor so you guys can see the difference between the 13-inch display and the glossy in that just the overall size of the monitor alright guys so I got the monitor all

hooked up now I'm gonna turn it on see if it works make sure it doesn't blow up or anything I got all the buttons are down here for the menus brightness power the power buttons right here has a little blue LED in there there it is hooked up to my Mac get my cursor on there so you guys can see it all ready to go I need to set it up to make sure it's on my on the right side and have a good wallpaper on there but that is my basic overview of the alright I still gotta learn

how to do that but that's the basic overview of the monitor got it all hooked up forgot to mention that it has all the specs right here the high contrast 2 millisecond response time Full HD HDCP support stereo speakers built-in to the bottom at the top I'll find that out and 40% power saving because it's LED and that's the display guys so I'll try to do a review in the next couple weeks and that is all make sure you guys comment rate and I'll see you guys later.
