today we are gonna review this awesome asus 22 inch full HD backlit LED monitor now this is currently sitting pretty on Amazon on sale and Asus is even offering a November special rebate so make sure you take it down to that so this before tax is unbelievable and of course I got the one day
prime shipping order last night got in my door around noontime so I wasn't expecting that so why I decided by another mountain now that I really have 22 a dual 24 inch aces mounted it's not the same model in my study room that I usually use to edit my videos and do surfing why because I want a mod to dedicated to work and also to for me for practicing so I don't have to
move my mountains from my study room to my dining room my study room here is my do aces 24 inch widescreen monitors then I purchased back in May of 2012 , I've had it for over five years both never any issues basis by the way is made in Taipei Taiwan which is in the living room where I'm doing this review let's go ahead and unbox this real quick concern the price it
saves a lot of hassle I'm moving peripherals around there you see it that's the model let me see my OCD monitor from Asus pretty straightforward and that's my new Dell Precision 7520 laptop that you see in the background open this carefully now I've had my dual 24 inch monitor for over five years and I paid 179 are you not back in May of 2012 so if you do the math guys
you is depreciated about year I forgot that I was comparing 24 into a 21 anyway you guys figure out the math so I was just like roughly right so here we go is properly wrapped up but it's just the right size for my dining room this is it comes with HD on my cable which I'll be using connect there you go stand at that brand-new baby it's got a brand new manga smell to it look at this beautiful guys this Quick Start Guide a manual or a
warranty VIP member here is a stand and it comes with the power cable this is for the VGA cable nobody uses VGA cable any mama for that way yeah this is the DVI cable so it looks like it doesn't come with a HDMI so make sure you guys are to advance but thankfully I do have a extra HDMI cable big shout-out to twist the vein hook me out with this I should review this like three or four years ago but finally I have the chance so there's awesome cable in which they
have these special colored design nylon strap is super long with super quality input and output on there HDMI display let's go ahead and get to assembly before we get into the features of the mod or what I do is a sum of the pedal Stouffer's so what you want to do is have the front to open area facing forward make sure these two little round pegs there you go fold it over and
you can tighten it more with a screwdriver if you like and it features these four rubber pegs so it doesn't move or slide all right let's go ahead and connect the power supply which is in the back my dik boom there you see the DVI and the VGA also okay in the back along with the serial number and the UPC code it's fine connected to my laptop by the way my new laptop doesn't have a VGA cable connection or DVI so you use a strictly HD start by pressing there's a
bunch underneath here and here are all the adjustments you see the ACE is starting up my computer detected it it's gonna run this diagnosis there you see it as fast as that look at that that is some bright display right there so there you see the model it's the LED backlit display with full HD full 1080p HD capability which features 50 million to one high contrast ratio with HDCP support offers a smart view we adjust the angle accordingly and he offers a earphone
jack with an Energy Star saving feature okay so what this monitor features is a slim design 21.5 interest rondelle 22 inch diagonal viewing screen with a quick 5 millisecond response time so it's not the quickest it's probably not solely meant for gaming but I don't do any gaming anyway on my PC it delivers smooth video display it's got an aspect control function allows you to select a preferred display mode which I'll show you later and it offers of 4 to 3 ratio for true live
gaming and movie watching offering the video intelligence technology which optimizes video performance image fidelity and this has over 8,000 reviews there's a lot of positives let's go ahead and remove all this stuff actually maybe I'll just keep it all in case I have to return there you never know you know sometimes it could be a lemon but I doubt it this monitor it's a pretty lightweight 6.8 pounds only the dimensions of this is twenty point two inches wide by seven point nine inches in width and about fifteen point two inches in height the only downside of this computer is that it does not features a height adjustment like most Dell monitors so all he does
is it has a tilt angle there you can tilt forward or back and see that not too much so if you want the mountain to be sitting up higher you would have to get a my understand that's the only downside of it and when I turn to the back it's got like a carbon I want is a carbon fiber but not exactly that but it has that feel to it never see the ventilation the Asus logo though there are the input outputs right there do you see your serial number it's pretty basic right there nothing too fancy I would say is ultra slim but yes it has a nice smooth design to it let's go ahead and see
how it functions when I try to run like a cat model or maybe a video first I'm gonna go to my computer display settings I don't want to duplicate this these displays while I do it extend it all right so I might identify apply and keep changes identified my laptop is the main PC - is where I would be extending a - so click on ok now my go to my channel Jay reproductions let's go ahead and start up how about my channel trailer see how that plays off that just go ahead and
drag to youtube to the full screen right here alright let's go and quit that now I'm gonna go and play a video one of my youtube videos - this my cars jr. all star review should check out that review now I'm gonna search for a game like Call of Duty how about that that way we can pretend that we are gaming do the - lets play the trail how about here we go , so that was pretty smooth right now I'm gonna do some CAD modern let's say I want to design like this glider right here let's go ahead and see pretty smooth rendering right going in and out by the way this is a qudsiya smooth edges yeah so far I'm very satisfied with this monitor so there
was some pretty nice quality images let's go ahead and cover these buttons that's built into the monitor keep in mind that's the down arrow is basically decreasing our bottom selects does increase and this is to enter and that is to reset its going press menu bar right there do you see Augie features why did that I would see the report of the week channel but anyway you can scroll through these to look at the different functions and settings I won't go into details of that I'm just going to show you how to adjust it let's see if I only go up to choose my settings right
answer which is menu I want to confirm that I use a standard mode so yes I want to escape out of there I'm gonna go down to press the down bone to the colored mode and you'll see if I want to adjust the brightness you press ENTER to select it do you see to adjust the brightness we get dark make it brighter come on enter to exit I'll add air just go down except once again and exit simple as that here's a comparison between my brand-new almost 22 inch versus my 24 inch so
guys if you are in the market for a very affordable LED monitor with great dependability and great workmanship created by a quality company such as Asus I can confirm that it gave me no problems for five years so I do recommend a brand and considering with the retailer rebate it is a great deal guys all in let's get wounds but say all right command it I give it an amazing 90% so that's the Asus 21.5 inch full HD LED monitor review.
ASUS VS228T-P 21.5" Full HD 1920x1080 DVI VGA Back-lit LED Monitor
the asus ve 2 2 8 h LED LCD monitor it's backlit LED has a 10 million a 1 contrast ratio it's a 1080p 1920 by 1080 really nice monitor the colors are really good on this thing it has built-in speakers you might want to look for your own speakers like aftermarket like I got the Eclipse Pro media 2.1 I originally didn't buy any speakers for it because I I have a dual monitor setup here as you can see a really beautiful monitors because you can tell the colors and everything
colors and whatnot all look great so coming as your DVI your d-sub and HDMI hookups on it it's got the I'll show your different modes here let's got your standard mode it's got your theater mode game mode it's hard to tell probably on the camera here night view mode my eyes you just flipped through might be mode srgb scenery mode obviously Bynum standard for now I think that's up there both on good but I first got the monitors kind of wondering how they'd be
you know because they're relatively inexpensive um but after having them for a while I really like them they work absolutely excellent except for the speakers are complete crap if you ask me I tried listening to them but the volume is just horrible on and they don't sound very good far as I'm concerned so look for aftermarket speakers otherwise everything else should be good you got your menu settings here you got your different scenery modes Theater game blah shall
do that not really sure out up we're playing through all these menus yet I really played around with them that much I guess let me do this different now let's try going down okay now you got your color you can play with your brightness contrast saturation color temp skin tone image you can address a sharpness aspect control input select you got the VGA DVI or HDMI system startup demo off or on volume okay I got the volume at a hundred percent but speakers still didn't sound good so I don't want to stay there oh yeah they're nice monitors fairly thin I got
line on the plane are dual monitors stand right now you can swivel them tilt them up and down these will even go up portrait mode if you want but I haven't tried that out yo you got your inputs back here but we can't see there's not enough light back here guys got Tran puts over here power over there yeah in short really really nice monitor I think for the money if you want to go dual monitors highly recommend it only bad thing about getting a plane are dual
monitors stand is if you want to go to three monitors you're going to need a different stand I wish there is a way to keep this type of stand and then do three monitors but other than that yeah excellent monitor is really crappy sound so just look for aftermarket speakers and you should be good so that's my review of the Asus ve 2 2 8h computer monitors .
this is a 21 and half inch monitor that I did pick up from Staples . so let's go ahead and just cut open the box and take a look at this monitor it does have one HDMI port one VGA and one DVI port as well as some stereo speakers that sound like crap I did get this a couple weeks ago but didn't have enough time to unbox it cuz I had a lot of tests and a lot of schoolwork I had to do but now I'm back it's long weekend so you should be seeing a lot of videos here's just
a look at the bass and let's go ahead and take a look at what else is inside this monitor it has the the cables it comes with a DVI and VGA but not an HDMI cable unlike Acer where they supply the HDMI the power cable and they also do include audio cable as well so let's go ahead and slide out the monitor as you can see it's in styrofoam blocks and just give me a sec to get this out and there you can see it does come with the instructions obviously pretty useless cuz it's just a
monitor I am use as a second display and I'll be doing unboxing of the Diamond evu 195 USB video card and here's the monitor so let's just lift it up and take a look at it this does have a 5 millisecond refresh rate or speed and it does feature the technology that Asus uses to enhance the quality I found it to not have as much of a clarity as my Acer monitor but it was half the price and the brightness looks much better than the Acer just go ahead and screw on the
bottom with the thumb screw and go ahead and just tighten it and as you can see it slips on very easily no problems at all and let's go ahead and just take off the foam of this and take a look at what the screen furs as you can see it does have a glossy bezel and base which I don't really like but most monitors are like that just a huge dusk and fingerprint collector by at least a screen itself is a matte finish as you can see it has a 10 million to 1 contrast ratio and it's not
the thinnest monitor but that doesn't really matter to me it was a secondary monitor and for the price I think it's definitely worth it so be sure you go check it out I will leave a link in the description once again this is just the unboxing of the Asus ve 228 21 and half inch monitor and then you can see it's a diamond USB display adapter Pro the bvu 185 unboxing for that will be coming out soon editorial on how to do a dual monitor display will be also coming up.
