yep it's the best monitor I've ever owned intro , you know there was a time in my life when I would just look on the internet and a high refresh rate high detail monitor in Disco man I wish I could actually have a computer that could run that dang thing well as you guys have seen I'm gonna link it up here I have upgraded my computer hardware and I can actually drive a monitor like this without any problems so why the heck not that's my thing right now why

would I not have one of these monitors I'm sure you guys have asked yourselves I have you seen my videos why are you not playing on a 2k monitor Ricky why are you on a 1080p monitor well that has now changed I have finally got myself a high refresh rate high detail monitor and I'm gonna go ahead and get into the details of it right now and I'm gonna show you guys why this is the best monitor that I've actually ever used in my life and it is actually what I am calling I

gasma k-- that is a word I just made it up you can use it if you want whatever anyway let's go over to voiceover and I'm gonna explain to you all the details about this monitor let's go okay so with the Acer predator X b27 1 hu we are seriously stepping up our game when it comes to our gaming monitor this monitor supports a resolution of 2560 by 1440 it has Nvidia g-sync built in and it is an IPS display so you know those colors are gonna be absolutely beautiful it is a high

refresh rate display supporting a refresh rate of 144 Hertz but it is also overclockable to 165 Hertz this monitor supports some really great Io including a DisplayPort and HDMI 1.4 port and then it also has a pass-through so you can actually support for USB 3 ports one of the things that really jumped out at me right away when I first saw this monitor is how thin the bezels are it really really makes the 27-inch screen look way bigger than it actually is and of

course because it is an IPS display the colors are amazing and you literally cannot take your eyes off of it the Predators menu system is actually very intuitive and it's great to see a monitor with the buttons actually on the front so they're easy to find and see and I had no trouble selecting what I wanted select on this menu system a little added bonus with this monitor are the two watt speakers that are built into it now there are nothing special but I'll let you listen to them right now the Acer ergo stand let's the monitor pivot tilt swivel and move up or down so

you can find the most comfortable viewing angle that you prefer but it kind of makes me feel bad though because of course I'm not gonna be using this awesome stand I'm gonna end up taking it off and I'm gonna put it on my dual arm mount now taking this monitor off and putting it on my dual arm mount was very easy I simply just had to remove my old monitor disconnect everything go ahead and take the predator off of its mouth and apply the VESA mount to it and screw it in then from there all you have to do is lift them monitor back up

throw it on the dual arm and then adjust to your liking , getting them honored to come on and work with my system was as simple as connecting the monitor up powering it on going into the on screen display and simply just selecting the input that I wanted and voila it powers on now setting it up isn't as simple as just turning it on we also need to make sure we put g-sync on so we're gonna have to go to our Nvidia control panel check the box that says enable LG sync and

then basically just press apply the screen will flicker a little bit but as soon as that's done g-sync should be turned on after that we need to go into our display settings and make sure we have this display selected as our main display and then go down to advanced display settings go ahead and click that and once you're in there you'll see that it's only set at about 60 Hertz right now go ahead and select display adapter properties for display to go ahead and select monitor and then from that drop-down box we're gonna go ahead and go with 165 Hertz that max I can

go to and then all you got to do from there is press apply and you're good to go keep the changes and now you have a hundred and sixty-five hertz overclocked monitor and now that we have everything set up and ready to go let's go ahead and get into some games and see some benchmark numbers, I really hope you guys enjoyed that I just honestly really felt that it was time to upgrade my computer monitor like my main monitor that I use for gaming because I just upgraded my system as you guys saw and I

felt that it deserved a monitor worth the hardware that I just put into my system and now I think that it is paired beautifully and the to work in conjunction together and it is actually just a complete system now I believe and it is exactly what I wanted in what I envisioned when I was building my PC in the first place and it's what I wanted for a very long time for for gaming and editing and things like that and then one other thing that I did not mention in the videos so far in Premiere it actually makes my windows bigger so when I'm editing because of course I'm

using a 2k monitor not a 1080p monitor it makes it about two times the size well two times the pixels anyway and there's a lot more real estate on the screen so I'm able to make my windows bigger and I'm able to make my timeline bigger so every bit of that is just a plus for me as well as all the gaming features and all of the eye catching things that this monitor does.

the Aesop editor xb2 7-1 hu is the big rival to asus is rog swift PG - 7 9 q both 27 inch monitors feature 165 Hertz IPS panels have a g-sync processor and have a host of premium features all of which adds up to make them pretty most - best gaming monitors you can buy right now but which is the one to get well as hinted at in my review of the Asus one area where the ASA may be doesn't quite match his rival is in design both monitors have fairly striking gamer oriented

styling but Asus red metal feet and predator logo are just a bit much it is a close-run thing though and overall both a great-looking displays similarly the Asus maybe has the edge when it comes to its standard base the ASA largely has smooth movements for the various economic adjustments it offers but they're just not quite as nice and the base while largely pretty sturdy isn't so steady as the Asus this is also reflected in the physical setup of the monitor the Acer is really awkward to get out of its box plus it then requires a fair bit of assembly with the base

attachment in particular being rather fiddly thankfully the panel just clips into place on the cerveza mount for use with other monitor mounts the Asus meanwhile arrives fully assembled and ready to go one area where the Acer definitely Trump's the Asus is when it comes to bezels it has just a tiny sliver of plastic protecting the edge of the screen with the rest of the bezel hidden below the displays front pane of plastic as a result when the screens off the bezel almost completely disappears giving them onto a really slim and sleek look the RG Swift while it has

narrow and low-profile vessels has some sit on the front of the panel another victory for the ASA is that it boasts 2 more USB 3 ports than the Asus but two on the back and two conveniently sat on the left edge otherwise connectivity is just as limited as on the Asus thanks to the limitations of the g-sync processor you get just one DisplayPort and one HDMI in contrast free sync monitors often come with several more options also included is a headphone jack plus there's a pair of speakers inside there nothing special but it always nice to have I also

much prefer that the Acer has an internal power supply so there's no power break to have to hide away unlike with the Swift one area where this display really doesn't impress though is the on-screen display it has everything you should need and the buttons are perfectly responsive but it's not the most intuitive layout it's a far cry from the lightning quick and easy experience on the asus so it's all a bit back and forth when it comes to the extras is it image quality where these two could be separated no both displays which use the same panel are fantastic right out

of the box delivering accurate colors high contrast and of course the excellent viewing angles you'd expect of an IPS screen the Asus can go slightly brighter than the Acer but I'd never recommend using these monitors at maximum brightness anyway and in every other regard this monitor is ever so slightly better so good is this display in fact there's almost no need to calibrate it at all just drop the brightness down and away you go nonetheless I did do a full

calibration and sure enough everything improved a little uniformity is also very good with hardly any discernible variation in the consistency of the image as for IPS glow it's not really noticeable when viewed on axis off axis the glow is obvious but that's simply the trade-off of IPS displays put simply this is about as good a display as you need for home computing by all means that are non gaming IPS screens with better image quality bloody professionals really need to ply it's a similar story for gaming the combination of juice ink and that 165 Hertz

refresh rate is fantastic there's no ghosting or other artifacts just great quality images delivered as quickly as your graphics card can produce them so in the end which is best well if you want a slightly tighter budget the acer is  cheaper so it's the clear choice if you're happy to spend a little more though than the ACE is slightly nicer standard design and far superior OSD controls go somewhere to justify the extra money it's definitely a close call though .

Acer Predator XB271HU bmiprz 27" WQHD (2560x1440) NVIDIA G-SYNC IPS Monitor

the Acer predator xbone gaming monitor let's go the Acer xd1 is currently the best 1440p gaming monitor on the market which is also a direct competitor to the Asus Rock Swift PG 279 Q which is a mouthful now why would I choose the a student stead of the Asus they're pretty much the same well there's only one reason why I would choose the Asus interrogator if you live in the u.s. I live in Bulgaria and currently the availability for that monitor is just non-existent no retailer in Bulgaria sells that monitor and if I have to battle have to buy it from the US and I have to pay way more fees for that monitor and why would I pay much if it's pretty much the

same exact thing sure on the asus you get a much better stand I love that stand and also the menus are not better well for the menus I will just use them like once a month once every two months so I don't care about them that much for the stands yeah I really love the stands man this tent actually I don't fly this camp arrow because it Vice it up still to be hard to fit where I'm going to put a few girls here later in the video as you can see on the side and the top of the

box is a 27 inch 469 centimeters wqhd 2560 by 1440 P with ultra-low motion blur I protection and pretty much a zero frame the bezels are pretty much non-existent and it also has the Nvidia g-sync technology if you currently don't have an idiot card if you have an AMD card there is absolutely no reason to virus monitor or any monitor which has g-sync enabled because only Nvidia car segment benefits from g-sync and you're paying premium price for something which

you're not going to use as the most important thing is that it has 144 Hertz overclockable to 165 ever since 2000 - when I got my first PC I kept only on 60 Hertz monitors like I went from CRT 600p to a flat screen 1050 p2 at 1080p and now I have this B's this is a 144 wqhd 1440p monitor and incident saying guys it's the first time going to experience this I have never seen native life I have heard people say that it's so much better than 60 Hertz some people say it's not true that the cumin I cannot see more than 30 FPS which is completely not true I can

develop this here difference between 30 and 60 but can you see a difference between 60 and 144 your ma jewelry you might be wondering why I said one question 44 am I not gonna use it at 165 well at the start no you may know me if you know me you would know that I don't like overclocking my stuff whether it be a video card or a CPU around whatever I don't like overclocking my stuff because I like preserving the life of these products as best as possible now for the monitor it may be a little different I'm a overclock it in the future but at the start I'll

start with 11344 Kurtz so let's start unboxing ok no it can't see me very well but this is not for me it's for a monitor this box is enormous and we cannot keep myself in the box in this game stream ok let's start with the unboxing we have some very nice tape over here which is a surgery we are not joking this is a 34-7 serious but whatever we have only to pay for some reason yep let's open this baby up this is also pretty heavy so I flipped it upside down and this is how I'm going to do it that's pretty empty endless listen you monitor okay a bunch of cables on the shoulder cable see you later just put it down something else broken pretty sure okay we

have a stand if the fridge chips sturdy stand - yeah the material is actually great on this Wow as pretty good I may have to look at the manual in order to install this properly this is the other part of the fence it's also important yeah what if they don't like the rest on this but the killer cricket yeah definitely good what Kravis it's scary let me see alright it has some protection on it which is what I like see and it also is packaging is around Ellen goods protects it very well and you're sorted box the box itself is pretty big look we should standards I mean all careers bit of their boxes I keep seeing how they work does it all personal cause the cool um I know exactly

how they work okay some more protection here Google and this guys is the monitor itself pretty big , so what do we get in this package first of all we have a uk-based power cable which does not work with Bulgarian sockets however we have a Bulgarian based power cable which obviously works for bogey on sockets we have this cable which is going to turn your monitor into the USB hub and we have four USB places for in the monitor itself we have a display port display cable and we have a bunch of manuals which have boot of some sorts we have this is

what is the warranty this over here is the huge link with us instructions and such as these two stickers this tells you what it is how many watts it is what the how big it is in watts and we have this small book with the offices of a sir I'll be reading that manual because they need to install this this is disbanded show and this is your mum's doodle which can be so difficult to put in place so that's why I'm going to need the manual in order to install it believe it or not there is no actual structure how to install this to this oh it's this is a few lines just went exactly this oh

here I hope you can see it just turn clockwise and lock it into place that's all it says and you don't actually need an instruction procession what simple is expecting something out more difficult so as serious this is the center of the whole thing into the center of this part what you do is put the center not on center but on the left side like so hopefully won't hit my microphone because it's so close just hear it correctly there we go once it's down what you have to do is turn it clockwise and it's going to lock into place as you guys need to the sensor in this is also a center what you know is turn it upside down like this then you can seriously screw pull this up turn

the screw like this and once this is done do this and there we go the stand is ready and you can do it this way or this way if you want to it's actually a lot more difficult to turn than I thought it would be because I have seen reviews of this thing and people seem to move it pretty freely but I have to put some force onto it not sure what sopra tell but I'm not going to move it anyway that which so that's okay by me and attached in the standard action pretty darn easy all got to do is align these two to risk you so you do this put it on the table or whatever whatever you're

building it topped it down here that clicks and you're done okay I take it back that she pretty easy to move around as you can see with pretty much no force whatsoever as long as the monitor is on the stand you get no force from moving this thing and this is the final look at guys it looks absolutely gorgeous except for this time - not a very big fan of the stand especially the color and how big it is the ace of stand is a lot better than this I like that you can go down and turn it up pretty high as well which I'm part not going to do but it's nice to have oh yeah and

one final thing I forgot to mention is that you can do this without any force again and you can put it to the top like that also the last thing is that if you're going to use this in a work computer and I don't see why you would use the g-sync monitor as a work computer you can actually do this and you let's see I wanna show off before I turn it on is how different it looks on my old monitor which is on lg flex on W 20 to 40 these are the bezels on this one just take a look at that there no bezels on this and I cannot even point them out they're pretty much non-existent and

of course I won't show my LG don't use it for a second monitor so let's start the testing okay so two days have passed since I unbox this wonderful beast and I have a few final words to say this is my review of the product first let's talk to the bad things the speaker the speakers are absolute garbage but that's expected I mean no matter so far as I have seen here yet even decent speakers not even decent either absolute garbage but I guess they are nice to hear from too lazy to turn on my regular speakers all of you I can just turn this on from windows yes

that's good the second thing the manuals the Mail's are money intuitive they're so bad I often miss click and very often I don't even know what I'm choosing because it's not explained very well this is why I don't like the menu system arrow button is like once or twice some bones or something so I don't care that much about it the next thing is this parent I dislike senticles of how its positioned on like this it has to be there it cannot go down here beside me so I have to use it over here and you can see this is slow think and I have to make some compromises this one the desk is moved towards me a little bit it's not flush to the wall like it used to be so this

thing can actually fit now something else I wanted to mention make sure you have a 980 or above video card in order to utilize the 144 hurt only 1440p monitor because I currently have 770 I ordered them at 1080 like a week ago but it's going to be delayed for another two weeks I was expecting to make this review with the new video card so I can utilize the 1040 for hers unfortunately I'm stuck with this and I can't really say how I would perform set 144 or let alone 165 and I'm going to overclock it in the future yes mark my words now there's something

else I want to mention anyone who have such a monitor and say that he can't see more than 60 frames per second he is either lying or there's something wrong with his eyes because you can certainly see a difference between even 60 and 70 there is a noticeable difference in fact when I got this monitor Internet it resets after every should download the computer my friends reset my first reset so the first time this happened I said holy crap one so sluggish what's going on so neat I checked my settings in yes it was a 60 Hertz and not at 120 and of course you can turn it

off so it doesn't reset every time every single time you restart which I did not know about but how are you and really happy with my purchase this is an absolute beast of a monitor you eat the IPS display is absolutely beautiful because you can see you can stay above the monitor you can see absolutely everything on the screen it was not the same with the old monitor if I spend a little bit longer than is this top part was not visible at all it was completely black but now I can stay above it stay below it I can go on my bed and look at it from far away it's not going to black on any colors it's absolutely beautiful IPS display with the great purchase in my opinion

also the it's the dream job for editors I'm an editor I make youtube videos every single day I edit them and I can fit more things on the screen now because of the 1440p resolution if I did get 4k it will become difficult because I don't like 4k honestly because there's too much space and everything looks so small even with the scaling the beautiful scaling that Windows 10 has it's still pretty bad at Sony Vegas because Sony Vegas mostly but anyway enough about that this

is an absolute beast do I recommend it yes I do if you're four speakers if you care for speakers and don't get this thing because the absolute garbage it is like the stand some people like stand of course but provide setup is not a beautiful stance in my opinion the IPS display is absolutely gorgeous and there's nothing else .

the Acer predator xB 271 hu gaming monitor it still remains one of the best gaming monitors out there so I decided to make a review about it if you want to see its most up to date price and find out more information about it you can check out the links in the description also  to stay up to date with the latest technology news okay let's get started with a review the Acer predator xB 271 hu is a 27-inch g-sync monitor that would be a top option for every gaming fanatic looking to move from their existing monitor to another more powerful one with more capabilities like a 144 Hertz refresh rate that guarantees a

supreme gaming experience we've chosen this product as a worthy addition to our channel due to the numerous demands by our audience as well as the dozens of top rates at the predator received by the customers including you in the market so let's get straight into action and find out what all the hype is around the predator xB 271 hu from a design perspective the predator measures 24.2 inches in length and 10.6 inches in width 21.7 inches in height and weighs around seventeen point six three pounds or 614 by 269 millimeters and eight kilograms respectively for

those who prefer the metric system the cabinet is bezel free and is fully matte black finished the only place where it is different is the predator label on the front which is a combination of silver and some bloody accents the connectivities placed alongside and the back include a DisplayPort 1.2 single HDMI 1.4 4 USB 3.0 ports and a 3.5 millimeter analog audio out Acer has integrated June - what speakers as well but they can't significantly improve your gaming experience so I suggest you use your headphones or external speakers since we all know that speakers aren't

the strongest point on the monitor in addition at the front below the lower bezel there are five buttons of which you can take advantage to adjust your pictures manually but in my opinion I think that a joystick would be a better solution the buttons are responsive and aren't stiff as you may expect so you won't deal with frustration or put in too much effort your clicks will be easily registered which somehow compensates for the exclusion of a joystick the to angular feet that support the monitor are finished in a red and black color they look really aggressive which

means they'll surely enhance your gaming ambiance but what makes them unique is that they are fully adjustable and they're sturdy enough to let you do various adjustments that keep the monitor stable throughout the whole process to be more precise you can make tilt adjustments from -5 to 35 degrees swivel from minus sixty to sixty height adjustments from up to 150 millimeters which is really cool due to the fact that you can always have a comfortable viewing position that'll save you from fatigue stand has another useful thing and that's the embedded

tiny hole which will help you improve your cable management to keep your desk nice and tidy I also want to mention that this monitor is visa 100 by 100 millimeter compatible so you can mount it on your wall to save some desk space or have a better viewing position but now let's move to the next section the monitors performance and its features that will improve and elevate your gaming experience to a whole new level the predator X P 271 hu has a WQ HD

resolution of 2560 by 1440 in terms of pixels with an aspect ratio of 16 to 9 and a pixel pitch of 0.23 3 millimeters which will highly enhance the image quality of the games you're playing the IPS technology plays a huge role in the overall visual quality because it'll offer you a consistent imagery and accurate colors even if you view from 178 degrees both horizontal and vertical moreover the response time of 4 milliseconds and the native refresh rate of 144 Hertz which can be overclocked to up to 165 Hertz is fantastic for the price you're paying and secondly these specs will ensure that you have a fluid ghosting free and way better gaming experience when

compared to other monitors in this price range another great thing about this monitor is its 100% coverage of the srgb color gamut which makes it suitable also for photo enthusiasts but due to its primary gaming purpose you can expect to see realistic visuals of everything that surrounds your in-game character the grass the water the soil the character itself will be accurately delivered without losing any single detail I must admit ASA did a pretty good job here this monitor has a great selection of picture presets such as the standard eco movie user

graphics and other settings like color temperature brightness contrast and the blue light setting that will reduce the emission of blue light that's known for causing eye strain let's not forget you can take advantage of the six axis color adjustment in order to adjust the intensity levels have a lead to a better customisable picture before we move to the g-sync I want to inform you that there's the so called game mode which offers three crosshair options so you can choose the one that suits your gaming style the best since this monitor is g-sync enabled you'll already

know that this technology will improve your gameplay even more due to its ability to effectively reduce the display stutter and the input lag which results in perfectly defined and sharp objects as well as super smooth gameplay this is great for fast-paced gamers because even the most dynamic moments would be easily captured and by default it means you can fully immerse yourself in the game you're currently playing but that's not all asa has implemented their low motion blur technology known for sharpening the fast-moving objects even more well as their

eye protect echnology that'll protect your eyes from irritation and strain after playing for a long time overall I'd recommend you seriously consider the Acer predator X P 271 HU and put it on your must-have list due to its exceptional performance g-sync and its ability to display deep blacks bright whites and game at 165 overclocked refresh rate to promise many sleepless nights.
