what's up everybody welcome so today's review is going to be off the red dragon de varias and we're just like the tanks intake for staining over this keyboard to do review synthetic is one of the major take suppliers in South Africa that supplied a wider range of brands like crucial and 2xp click within digital and they also are the exclusive suppliers of red dragon a brand we really like your on we do take so like all my reviews they start off with what's included in the box alongside the keyboard first off you get the CD with the drivers then a manual a key cap puller and then two awesome things or the switch remover and the extra blue switches yes you can actually remove the entire switch and replace them with a different one but I'll get into more detail a bit later the base of the keyboard is made out of heavy duty metal and ABS plastic which gives it an extremely strong design but this does make the keyboard quite heavy not that it really matters because it's going to be on your desk the entire time anyway so the barrios has a standard 104 key layout with double shot injection molded key caps for longevity this episode is a key engraving doesn't fade after a while you do get some handy media and function keys at the top of the keyboard and then a whole bunch of lighting effects to use any of the functional lighting keys you have to press the FN key with the specific key now to cycle through the different lighting effects you have to press either insert home page up touch down and/or delete each one of those has three different group defects so you can play around with that to get your desired effect now to adjust the lighting effects you can press the minus and equals key which lets you adjust the lighting speed of the LED effects the arrow up and down keys let you adjust the brightness of the leds while the left arrow key lets you change the direction of the effect and then the right arrow keys to cycle through the current effects color options and then if you want to restore all this to the way it was you can just press the print screen key but for easy and full control you can just go into the software and adjust everything there now let's look at the switches the de Barrios comes out with the kale brown switches which I personally find extremely nice to game antic type on there are also Cherry MX compatible so you can get some cussing he gets the spice of your keyboard but now the nice thing about the de varios is that you're able to completely remove the brown switches and replace them with a different blue one all you need to do is remove the key cap and then use the included switch puller to get it out and then just press the new one in and use a quick sound test between the Carl blue switches and the Carl brown switches and also what the keyboard sounds like when typed on Percy I won't use it because I really like the brown switches but there could be people that want to replace their arrow keys with the cow blue switches for both the brown and the blue switches feels almost exactly like the chair makes versions the only difference is the Cal brown switches needs five more grams of actuation force but the caboose switches is exactly like the chair MX blue switches then underneath the keyboard you get two rubber anti slip pads at the bottom and to flip out keyboard feet at the top with some rubber anti-slip pads as well the cable is non braided but is 1.8 meters or 5.9 feet long with the gold plated USB connector at the front now let's get into the various software the software is plain and simple you have three profiles to choose from you have a macro creator a list of all your lighting effects a four-level USB polling rate adjustments and then you can also assign different

commands to each for the lighting effects you have 19 different modes to choose from and then you can also change the color brightness and direction of the effects now my conclusion is if you are looking for a new recently priced keyboard which has a ton of LED affixed a strong build quality removable switches and that just feels extremely nice to gamer to type on then I would definitely say go check out this keyboard I really enjoyed my time with it and that's it for my review of the red dragon de varias de varias I don't really know how to pronounce it but yeah thanks for watching guys I hope you guys enjoyed it if you did please like share comment comment like always also if you have suggestions for anything else you would like me to review please let me know in the comments below again big thanks to sending for sending over the keyboard to do review I really appreciate all you guys are doing for me but yeah
all right so this is the red dragon k5 five six RGB LED back like biomechanical gave me keyboard a little base 100 for sending keys as sisal on the Amazon description so I'm just pointing out some stuff there has on the front of the box I went over I went over that way too quickly to actually show you guys but like the case the box that it comes in is so amazing actually has the name but I cannot pronounce it it's called like the diva Raja or something like that I don't know anyways so nice box very very nice-looking box you know red dragon the actual name of the keyboard the back of it it shows you keyboard again and a little bit key features I'm just trying to move I'm just trying to change the the light effect I apologize for that so some features right there it says high quality they'll be back big mechanical keyboard it's foolproof that's amazing actually especially if you have it on your office um like I said a nice box that comes in with that it comes with so let's go ahead and open this baby up I do want to say that this is not like a technical review because it's just not it's not like I'm not gonna go into depth with it like other tech youtubers do this is just an unboxing and review my personal opinion about that so right out the box we get a huge look at the keyboard and some accessories that comes with it Oh on that note I do want to show you guys something that came with but I did not have inside the box as I I have been using it of course so the thing that comes with is you know a red dragon logo that says thank you for buying this stuff and I'll obviously the manual to how to use it and various languages and something that was very important what this was a DVD that came with it or CD and this how has the software for this keyboard which is um which is um pretty cool in my opinion okay well inside the box we they have this little small box that it comes with I was trying to show you what is this refer to and that refers to the do I do yourself kids and which it comes with eight spare switches which include the blue brown red and black switches which is pretty cool honestly let me just go ahead and open this up it and there you go that's pretty neat that it comes with extra switches honestly just me messing around with them right there but the actual key the actual keyboard is Oh two more brown switches alright let's see what's inside and of course the accessories to take out keys and also you could take out the actual switch I'm just trying to show you what the what the pictures instead of the actual keyboard let's see here and last but not least we actually have the keyboard itself it's wrapped up in bubble wrap well not really wrapped up it's just like covered and in such things the the cord is like it's it's regular plastic with this thing and the USB of course it's USB of course it looks fake and very strong in terms of it won't rip break or any of that stuff easily and look at it the keyboard beautiful it's amazing it has some it's it has some weight to it I'm not gonna lie and then here's the back of it now not too much in the back it's pure flat except with the little little stands there as you can see but yeah all right so like I said it's the k5 five six from red dragon it's a really really nice keyboard for the price and like I said it does have brown switches so it's pretty good for typing and gaming so office and gaming well if you're in a small cubicle I'm not sure of your other co-workers would like the noise as it does make some noise but not as much it has multiple multiple RGB mode it's like it's a super colorful keyboard super super duper color for the LED lights are really actually pretty good they're like strong enough to like you can see them it's not like dim or anything they get pretty light and obviously you could change the the way it looks so it does have six themed back lights and then with that it has 18 lighting models and so what that means is like every theme you could change it to a unit like a specific color or change these companies something completely different you could change the speed of it and you also you could change the brightness of it so many modes so many customizations it's amazing and this is just like straight out of the keyboard now right now I'm gonna show you how to use the the software that comes with that it's used for macro settings and for also lighting designs hope you can see the software good so there's different port files and then the lighting effects and also the key settings and also right there as you can see macros I'm not gonna get too much into the macros huh I'm just gonna get into the lights so without even touching your keyboard you could change with all the different modes that it has and themes so as you can see it has a lot very beautiful and also like like I say you could change the what type of color say you want me to light and show obviously you change all this here at the very bottom though so yeah it's like a wave and then you can change the color of it but here at the very bottom you could customize it on your own I think you can so that means in on all of them but I like to use this one why cuz it's for like gaming pretty much your WASD your numpad you could customize all the colors and stuff like that so that's how I have it so it's really good for gaming like you know and that's how are you so hope you guys enjoyed please leave a like and comment if you did this was a quick unboxing and review I mean I was gonna show you some of the gaming stuff but you get the points of keyboard amazing keyboard for a good deal peace
