today we literally load to take G to 13 prodigy gaming keyboard now the first gaming keyboard I ever owned was actually from Logitech the g5 10 back in the day I've actually got article on it  at the current point of recording which is pretty good for that we're going to also cover my thoughts about it in the end conclusion but this is a slim body design that uses MEK dome switches so we're not looking at mechanical keyboard although they do have mechanic ones in their range this is a membrane style just like the G 510 I looked at what feels like a lifetime ago now now this has RGB support with customizable zones with 16.8 million colors there is a poem whisper into this but it isn't removable I'll cover that in a minute now they claim that their Mac tone switches have anti-ghosting this four times faster sad the keyboards you have got dedicated media controls which is nice to see there is a five key rollover on there and it is spill resistant as well what's one thing you generally don't see on gaming keyboards so should you happen to spill your drink over it you should be all good now

the only thing in the box is some instructions but let's be fair you're not going to need those so here's the keyboard itself I have use this for a little while so that's why it does look a little bit greasy that's not obviously how it looks straight out of the box my immediate thought with this keyboard was the width please because Irish Fest isn't removable you didn't consider that when you're looking at it for your desk I've got a 60 centimeter depth on my desk so I really have much room once I've got the monitor base so that's definitely one thing that is a downside to this if you've got a bigger desk and obviously go for it but it does take up quite a bit of room if you run a smaller one like mine in terms of it being a plastic wrist rest are not really seeing it have any negative effect on my rest after time so even though its plastic seems to do the job just fine now the cable is hardwired to the keyboard so

that no removable one here but that being said the cable is very thick and the braid is very tight so I can't see it degrading over time and whole cables 2 meters in length which seems like an adequate amount of cable for most users on the Macra got some nice thick rubber pads at the bottom you'll also find the same robot on the stand as well if you do want to elevate it with those clips Daniels has got rubber as well to protect a desk here are the two different height options a slightly increment with the stand down but then quite a significant raise when you put them up personally for me I had it raised on the duration of my testing that they find it a little bit uncomfortable with it down flat then the top left you've got the Logitech G logo also features that I gb as you can see I think it's a nice little touch for exam what we generally see on the opposite end we've got on media controls mute volume up and

down play stop and previous and next track now disregarding the fact that obviously you can feel for the square to stop your music easier than finding a round button I think it would look a lot better if it was just round like the rest just make it a lot cleaner looking and it won't look mismatched and to the left of the media controls we've got a button that disables all the illuminations on the keyboard which you might like to use during the day and then maybe you want your ID to be on at night or maybe you want to disable the illumination when you're watching a movie something like that you've got the option to do so and then to the left of that you've got the button that disables the Windows key and for example you're online playing Battlefield the press that bomb accident you get your window minimized and then you get shot and killed obviously with that button this won't happen so it's really

quite a cool feature now these buttons are hard plastic unlike the soft touch ones that you'll find on the other keyboards in this range now proceeding is a membrane keyboard this actually sounds pretty good take a listen now talking about you well that's personally one of the better sounding keyboards that I've had being a membrane keyboard as well you definitely speed up on this as well just take a little bit of adjustment going from mechanical back to a membrane I certainly found myself doing emails a lot quicker as well that's for sure so let's look under at the membrane keys I don't recommend you take them off they're pretty difficult to get off I see certainly not as easy as the mechanical ones but little design to be taken off so that's kinda why obviously the color comes straight through the rubber to give you the RGB as you can see where the key switch is slightly raised that's where you get that slight spill resistance as well because the water will go below that obviously

you would have to go up over that key so it's try to get into the key okay so under the software it's not quite as advanced as some other pieces of software we've seen from mechanical RGB keyboards but you still haven't got a lot you can do so let's take a little look at what's available so first up we can program all of the F keys to remap them to whatever you can't see literally any function you can do on a mouse or a keyboard you can program to one key which is really cool it's good as well because some people may be doubtful if this is going to be perfect for them because there's no macro keys but once you have the ability to remap them obviously there's no worry to that anymore they can also add profiles as well so obviously when you go into different games that will switch to different sets of macros as an example of me added one in manually or you can literally go for the easy options and

just scan for all your games obviously not every game is on there because that will take them forever to do every single game with a profile but the majority of games I've got I did find on the list so as you can see here with my different set of commands for each games have some have been preset which is nice obviously you can go in and delete or edit them if you wish so moving on to the lighting the first method we've got is going through the different designs you got five options available you can just click a color and then click on the keyboard to change it taking our photo different sections that light up different colors if you're wondering we will show this on the keyboard in a minute as well then you've got your different effects so the first one is fixed color the next one's a breathing effects obviously fading in and out you change the speed of that if you wish its while placing I'd like to go for kind of a mid speed I think the first one is just too slow and then the first one

is just distracting so I think I'm whittles a nice ground toddler cycle obviously cycles for all the available colors again middle ground is quite nice it's just too much when you do it on full speed and then color wave left to right or right to left personally for me I like a slower effect on that one next up we've got the options to change what the joystick biome at the top does so you can have it to disabled just to win those keys or maybe you wanted to add in some or control so it's nice to have a bit of a selection on what you can do you can see there I'm clicking a few extra keys if you want to add those in maybe you've got macros of some other button that you don't want to be pressed during the game now this is quite cool this is the heat map which shows you where you press the most on the keyboard you can start this at the start of one of your games for example and let it run throughout at the end it will show you exactly where you can press injuring the Gamze quite cool I don't think it's something you're gonna really use that often if you just play one kind of game then you know where

you're going to be pressing is you know it's quite simple but yeah just something a little bit fun to play about with so it goes without saying you're buying an RGB keyboard you're going to want to see what it looks like when it actually does the RGB effects so first of all just a steady color this is lighting up the five zones as I've mentioned before it's not the brightest keyboard that's one thing I do want to stress it's not you know the most in your face like other ones that are available but I think it is quite good in a way sometimes you can have keyboards that are too bright and they just get really distracting really just over the function they're designed for so this is quite a nice subtle lighting rather than overly in-your-face one this is the breathing effect then that's the full speed I think you'll agree it's just a little bit too much color shift obviously going through the colors now that's the middle

ground for color switch I think it's just about right and this is the color wave slow and then full speed and then a nice middle ground which is how I've had mine set when I've been testing it now it does struggle with weight a little bit that's one thing I always look at on RGB keyboards it's difficult color for RGB LEDs to produce and the white on this is a little bit yellow so showing you pretty much all I can with the keyboard in its features now let's give you my conclusion so first of all want to cover the keys themselves now on the website they say they've got the same feel with the cherry brown switches and I think that's accurate to a point because you've got the membrane underneath that does make it well the mushy when you button them out if you've used cherry Browns before you know when you bought the map you get a nice solid thump when you hit the deck obviously you're not going to get that same feel when you use this being the robot underneath now if you compare it something like cherry Reds you won't get the actuation that you can get with those either if you're

playing again that requires really fast reflexes this may not be the perfect keyboard for you now as I mentioned in previous keyboard reviews battlefields always the one game that I played the most and with the GT 13 I did struggle a little bit now coming from my custom Cherry MX brown keyboard this did take me a while to adjust if I had to put it on this keyboard could I get on with it of course I could it does just take you time to get used to it now this comes in the US and this is kind of the price when you're starting to get the cheaper mechanical keyboards be it not Cherry MX switches but a cheaper counterpart now kind of brings in is it worth that being a membrane keyboard to what you could potentially buy now the chief of mechanical you're unlikely to get RGB which on the GT 13 I think has done very well no one like the other ones in the range you don't get individually lit keys but it does provide some nice visual effects now if you spend an extra 10 pounds you can get the g6 10

which is a white backlit keyboard but it also has the Cherry MX browns so if you want to stick with Logitech but you do want a mechanical version that is available the lack of USB pass-through maybe a putter for some people but personally for me it makes a difference then the only little niggle i've got is the stop key on the media controls personally like them all be the same so overall I think is a pretty good keyboard but be a little bit expensive especially considering the mechanical offerings you can get at a similar price point but I am keen to look at the G 810 from Logitech which is their top-end model which has the full RGB that we've seen on this one individual key backlighting and the G Ramos which is which is something I'm not used before

the keyboard is a Logitech g13 membrane gaming keyboard let me tell you what before I bring you in to show you anything straight off the bat spoiler alert this thing is fantastic and it only comes in right around the low 40 bucks these days if not right at 40 bucks and again at that price we have a winner right here spoiler alert but anyways let me bring you and show to you and then we're talking about a little bit hey I'll be right back with you all right so we are now in a Logitech software and as you see these little buttons up here flash and pretty much what those are are just shortcuts to these down here so you either click on these or click on these up there and do the exact same thing so just click up here and your gonna just like said your function buttons and it actually has profiles per game and stuff where you can adjust those up there then again just to show you so again like we had that right there click on that BAM right through the same thing so anyways again it's just a little shortcut right there just click on the zone you're working on over here is the RGB you have lighting mode where

you can adjust these five zones that's it not per key or anything like that it's just pers own you can change each zone to whatever color you want right there over here you have your effects which you have these four right here and they look good it's nothing great it's nothing fantastic you know you can adjust your speed right over here or which direction that starts from and as you see it here on the screen where it's kind of looks a little blocky going from like red to paint the BAM right there that's how it looks on a keyboard as wellis not like a smooth transition it's not bad by anything it's not bad at all actually but again you do notice it kind of jumped to other color rather than being a smooth transition straight through the whole keyboard right there and then over here and our last option right here is we're gonna control our game mode button which is this right up here on the keyboard and see right now it has the windows key locked but you can click whatever key you want and whenever you press that button on the keyboard it will disable those keys right there let me go on and activate these

Logitech G213 Gaming Keyboard with Dedicated Media Controls review

but anyways those are our options on the keyboard right there ah so now let's call and get a quick sound test you guys are about three feet from the mic by the way , butter smooth I'm gonna feel so nice now let me tell you my first opinion when I took this thing out of the box for the first time I was like alright wow this thing is a little bit too big is gonna hog on my entire desk and why I say that is because of the little wrist rest right here it does not come off as you can see on the bottom it is attached right there and I was honestly kind of disappointed like I'll never be able to use this thing it's just gonna hog up my entire desk but anyways after a while of using it it just worked out perfect because the wrist rest and the whole keyboard itself as you saw in the close-ups is a very nice little profile and the wrist rest just slides up right there and it's just I mean I'm telling you what it feels absolutely fantastic like with your hand cuz you just rest right there it's just perfect it really is a perfect match yes it is a little bit big but it didn't get in my way really as much as I thought it would

so that's just such a showed you the bottom I want to point this out here which i think is another really awesome feature on us and she knows right down here the black strips right there that's your rubber grip going across the entire board then you have these nice big grips right on here on the back your feet do pop out and you get the little grips right there but most of us will be using like this anyways but again the entire deal is gripped down there this thing doesn't budge on you one bit now one thing kind of touching on that where you have the rubber feet on the bottom and the top right there you kind of miss them in the middle so you get a very mild bit of flex let me pull it back and see not in the back you really get some I'm not sure how way you guys can catch that right there if you hit your keys but you gotta press your keys pretty stinkin hard to make it flex right there it definitely doesn't affect any of your gaming or type it or anything like that let me got to press it fairly decent but again you do get that flex and it does attach my USB right here in it is a very jumbo very firm thick USB

right there which is usually what you get from Logitech right but it is attached right there it does not come off and again it is a very sturdy braided USB are not talking some other features on it as you see these lights right up here that's for your calf lock your scroll none blocking game mode and all that so get a nice light right up there just to notify you that it is on and then you have your audio controls right if you let me pull you in a show you yeah really nice agency you have your volume you mute your track play and all that stuff and then right here again you have your game mode button will just disable the bugs I we showed in the software and then your lighting button your RGB no it does really is turn it off and turn it on there's no stages with any hard you be as far as brightness right there she's either off or on but obviously when you have it on it is a perfect mix right there it is just a perfect brightness right a lot of keyboards get that bleed out which looks pretty good honest and some

of the others right where it bleeds at and just kind of shines around the board which again looks really good but it's got a really nice subtle just very crisp just really nice professional kind of RGB if that even makes sense perfect with a professional RGB right but anyway that's not just flashing everywhere it's just a nice subtle within each single key and it looks really really good so this keyboard like again I love it coming in at that forty to forty five bucks right there I think it's fantastic got your audio controls right there the key presses feel and sound fantastic I mean just the design is just sleek and crisp the software is super easy to use you know ii mean it just it's almost a complete package i honestly really love membrane keyboards as many as mechanical keyboards as i test and everything and i do game with mechanical and i love them as well but when i'm just working or type and even responding to comments and stuff i love absolutely love using a membrane keyboard over a

mechanical board but again i know i keep saying it I really love this board again at that price there's so many features from your audio controls to your RGB to the sleep design it's just I feel like you really get your money's worth you're not buying all this crazy fluff there's some fluff into it but I don't feel like you're paying for you know you're really getting your money's worth right here again that Reaganomics RPS 70 bucks no way I wouldn't recommend it but that's that pressure you find at 40 to 45 nowadays all day long please let me know down in the comments do you use the two one three and what do you what do you think about it you know I will review the G Pro which I know a lot easier party asking I wanna see you know I will review that one but I've had this one I've been using it for quite a while I just really wanted to get this out there and share with you guys hey thank you so much for watching this one I highly appreciate if you enjoyed it hit that thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe for future tech videos hey I hope I catch you in the next one bye now

the Logitech G two one three prodigy gaming keyboard so this keyboard is one of three products from Logitech snoo prodigy range which is focused on providing gamers with affordable solutions for gaming equipment so the idea behind this project was offered three products offered the same affordable price that being a keyboard a headset and a mouse this affordable price is actually so quite a good price so compared to another of logitech gaming keyboards that i've actually reviewed myself which was the Logitech G 810 and that actually retailed for  this keyboard is most certainly a more affordable option as you would expect from any logitech gaming keyboard this keyboard features RGB LEDs now these LEDs offer you up to sixteen point eight million color variations they're actually going to take a look at some of the customizations you can do with these later on in the video this keyboard also features twelve programmable function keys which can be configured in the logitech gaming software so on the top

right the keyboard you will find some handy media controls such as a play and pause stop forward and back and also a volume mute button which is quite handy besides that then you also have a button which can actually turn off the LEDs completely on the keyboard so I guess that's a nice touch if you don't actually want to use them I'm sure you'll also notice that this keyboard has quite a large wrist rest which I can say is quite comfortable so as with any gaming keyboard you're thinking of purchasing I'm sure you guys want to hear how it actually sounds I just do want to say the keyboard the actual quality of each key does feel a little bit plasticky but you're probably going to find that for products around this price range but anyway here's a listen at how it sounds so I'm sure you're also wondering what is the build quality like for a keyboard at this price well it definitely feels lighter and a little bit more plastic than the Logitech g8n ad that I use on a regular basis so you could definitely notice that straight off the pad and it does feel a little bit on the cheaper side compared to this

keyboard that I normally use but that being said it doesn't feel very fragile and does provide an easy tightening experience although as I said the keys do feel somewhat plasticky it also has a braided USB cable which is a nice touch as well for a product at this price point all right so now let's talk about the LEDs one of the main selling points on this keyboard that makes it look very cool so again I'll be comparing this product with the Logitech g8n I do know there's a considerable price difference between the two products but it's still a good base for comparison so immediately notice with the LEDs on this keyboard that they weren't as well lit up on this keyboard as my g8n now that may not be a problem for all of you but it's just something I noticed that I felt like I should mention that's not to say they don't look good though they actually do look very good on this keyboard there was one problem however that I did come across when I change the LED color to light blue on this

keyboard using the Logitech Gaming software so went ahead and change this some of the keys appeared to be a darker blue than the light blue so I'm not exactly sure what was going on here I tried a couple of times but there's definitely a difference going on here so for example the enter key was a dark blue all the other keys were quite a light blue so maybe that's just a little bug with that color it didn't seem to happen with any other color it just happened for that one so that's just something I want you guys to know as well it's not all bad though this keyboard does feature quite a unique color variation option so the LEDs on this keyboard are divided into four sections of the keyboard stood up equally as you can see on screen right here and you're actually able to set a different color to each section now I really really like this LED feature as I had not seen it on any other keyboard previously so I think I've covered mostly stuff with this keyboard right here so just to summarize let's take a look at some of the pros and cons of this keyboard so the pros great affordability  this is an

absolutely great purchase as I said if you if you do have a little bit more money I'd probably recommend checking out my review for the Logitech G a10 because that I would say in my opinion that is a better keyboard better build quality and stuff like that but but still this is a great great product for the price point it's easily customizable LEDs are another great point it has a braided USB cable and also the wrist rest is a nice feature so now for the cons it is actually quite a light keyboard saying it's made of mostly plastic and also the keys have a little bit of a plasticky feel they don't feel amazing but they still feel quite good I can't complain too much for the price point here also the LEDs are not very bright compared to the Logitech g8n but they are still quite good and finally there are some LED colouring issues which I talked to you guys about with the darker blue on some keys but that being said guys going to give this keyword a six point five out of ten it is a great keyboard for the price point if I had a two year and I was looking for a good gaming keyboard this is probably what I would recommend to you guys to get
