upHere 5V 6-Pack 120mm Silent Intelligent Control 5V Addressable RGB Fan review

a quick prelude to this review if you're only interested in seeing the static lights and the lighting features that it has to offer skip ahead to four minutes and 46 seconds or stay tuned after I say great day night whatever it is and you'll be able to watch all of those features I'll throw in some music and we'll just go through all the features in the Mach tower build and that way you can just see all the lighting features it has to offer there are a lot of them that's why this review is gonna look a lot longer than it actually is for talking about the fans secondly I don't feel too well

and I feel like that effects the reviews and makes them extra bad more bad than they usually are so I'm sorry about that alright let's get going guys what's up tomorrow at 8-6 we're taking a look at these up here fans I get a little bit of head stuff so I sound probably a little bit congested sorry about that but we're taking a look at these fans they're by brand called up here anyways let's talk a little bit about these you get five fans five fans that come with a hub and proprietary pin connections there five pin pin connections and the hub can support up

to six fans and two RGB light channels now the downside to the hub is it connects via molex and the downside to these fans is they're only eleven hundred rpm so yes they're pretty quiet and we'll do some sound tests at the end of this review I did the mock tower set up so that we could hear it with the cover on cover off and that way you guys can kind of maybe hear the difference I also compared two with of course there's SP fans that are inside of her tower now would these fans I do want to go ahead and point out if you're going for something just

aesthetic looking and you want to do an airflow setup that's the best way to go I wouldn't recommend using one of these fans of something to cool a radiator because you only have one setting it can't ramp up or ramp down depending on your temperature and you want to make sure that you're using something that's probably a little more specified a PWM fan or something to cool a radiator that might be cooling heated components like GPUs or CPUs so on the remote let's cover that too there are a few discrepancies I've noticed that some of the colors

don't match up with what they are on the remote that's just you know hey  you kind of get what you pay for and that might be something that's irritating to you you know where red is green on here and green is red oh well I can live with that they do list it as unlimited modes there are a bunch of modes that you can cycle through I started to count them but then I was like this is just too much I'm sure there's something on there everybody can find throughout this review I'll be posting some of the modes that I've demoed and maybe you'll see something

you like the fan itself has ten light speeds so you can go from this very low one now I will say that anything below five or six light speed starts to look pretty choppy and slow so pretty much everything seven and above is where you want to keep it but you can go up to ten different light speeds and sort of find that nice balance of what you're looking for as far as how fast you want the LEDs to be moving depending on what you've selected it to do you can also set static colors

or you can turn it all the way off if you don't want your lights on you can start with off and then there's 13 levels of brightness so again I don't think it looks really good anywhere in that five six seven maybe on the lower dimmer lights but it's there if you want it the brighter the better to me and that's typically what I think a lot of people would be interested in is are they going to be bright enough I definitely think they are and they've got a good range of dim to bright for it off altogether if you don't want the lights on so I guess the price is an indicator of this - um they

sent the dampeners that you could put on the side the anti-vibration pants that you will install on the fan yourself so it takes a little bit of time to sit there and do all that I don't know why they couldn't have just put those on the fan but they do send the rubber dampeners in order to help with anti-vibration when you install it into the tower just be aware that you're gonna have to do the work on that the instructions are also in Cantonese maybe Mandarin I don't really

know what it is I don't read it but I couldn't tell you anything that they said because they just weren't in English and I'll say this part just to make sure I've said this you can't individually address the fans there's no user interface with this they're out of the box they utilize the remote and you can go through all your functions or settings with this remote it is an RF remote not an IR remote so you don't have to worry about line-of-sight in order for it to talk to the Box it should be able to do that fine something that I also think they should have included is

something like a velcro with 3m tape on the back sticky thing because the box that it comes with is not easily mountable without that and again while I'm not a fan of molex I can live with one mullux connection into that hub that then powers up to six fans and to RGB light channels that is pretty cool especially considering that if they're gonna be molex and you can't adjust the speed and they're not Pete fans then your only happening to deal with a

little bit of sound and they're pretty quiet for what they don't all right guys let's end here with the sound test that way you can kind of hear them what they sound like in an open town what they sound like in a closed tower and compared to those SP 120 fans anyways guys I hope this is helpful if you have any questions about it be sure and post down below .

upHere 5V 6-Pack 120mm Silent Intelligent Control 5V Addressable RGB Fan review

GB fans to review at least one special shout-out to one of my homies in the comments love to comment saying go have you heard of these fans please review them if you haven't these bad boys over here you know I love my Chinese fans guys this is called up here man I wear up here I just let's get to it man let's go I show guys so as I mentioned up here never heard of this brand now if you guys know I did a bunch of Chinese fans reviews I got a bunch of angle' fans that I

reviewed I'm throw some cards up here now these costs now these are a six-pack for which is pretty insane we're gonna quickly unbox at the but look at the buck the box is just all black boxes Oh black no no branding nothing I mean which is a plus and minus I actually do like this all black box looks sleek but I wish to add some branding but it is just a nice square looking black box but uh let's quickly open it now from the research that I've done they they are Oris

or compatible or incompatible they are PWM like I said they're and it's a six pack which is absolutely insane for the price for a six pack that's crazy let's quickly take in the booklet now we got a booklet over here right let's let's see what we got here in the booklet so let's say it's basically the same set up let me just show you guys what the camera focus hopefully the camera focus yup its focus oh and look just quickly you guys can read it for

yourself of course quickly we get a we get a hub and I just tells you basically out or run it out very simplistic we got some Chinese language over here we got we got an English and in Chinese so very very simple I believe the rpm is 1100 it doesn't even say no it doesn't even say on the on the book it just says ASIS or a sick and Masai mystic light synciq about RGB fusion azrog polychrome sync motherboard one more time guys let me give you that look that's all it

basically says I believe the RPM is eleven hundred rpm but I'll tell you guys later in the review but quickly what's inside all right so this is the hub pairing this is the hub of course nothing's gonna be braided all right so let's check out the hub quickly guys this is how the hub looks very very simple it just sets up here the camera focus it says up here we got 3m adhesive and I just want to throw that on the back of the case and we have different fan ports now this does support six fan ports let's see we have doo doo doo doo doo yep 1 2 3 4 5 it does support 7 fan

ports this is pretty cool we have a force you have your molex here to power it up and we have the this is the mobo the mb sync now this does support a 3 pin or a header now that's a I believe what a 5 volt if I'm not mistaken 5 volt or three well but whatever it's a 3 pin it's not the usual 4 pin that um all ASUS motherboards most let me let me clarify that most ASUS motherboards have now these are all the fans ok now oh look at that we have some like um ok so we have

some this is not look at that let me take that out check it man this is like some these are nice zip ties these are more of the fabric type this is nice you get some nice zip ties 30 35 45 it's man you know what it is anyways fans oh my god okay awesome the box look at about chaos absolute chaos in the box and of course you get screws bunch of screws you get a bunch of bunch of screws so we have screws so don't worry about that all right fans let's take them let's take a quick look at the fans very nice another shot beautiful beautiful shot all right quickly

what do I think of them okay I don't see any rubber padding over here the little grommets that I like to muffle of the sound the aygos did have that unfortunately this one doesn't have it's very plastic he listen you you know you get what you paid for you can't fault them on the price the fan blades are pretty thick it's gonna move enough air it's a 12 volt over here you guys could see DC 12 very simplistic of course we get our oh this is very interesting okay so this is actually a four pin pwm header now on the Eagle fans they had their proprietary proprietary recall fan

headers there were like six pin this is actually four pin so I believe you could connect this I could try maybe you could connect it straight to the mobo but this and a bunch more fans a bunch more fans very plasticy you know you get what you pay for let's say let's throw them in the break and I am curious to see how they perform but I so let's quick let me let me throw them in the rig let's see how they perform let me let me play with them for a little while and let's get back to it let's go I show guys so everything installed right now quickly want to just

check out the different fan speeds the different feed up to show you guys basically how the pwm works I Cho guys so right now we have it set up on side now the case is open I just want to give you guys a quick here basically how it sounds now quickly these fans do go up to 1700 rpm all day they go all the way down to 600 to 1700 rpm now this is on silent very very quiet I got the mic pointing I want to say like 8 inches from the fan again the case is open very quiet now let's quickly turn it up to let's see it's on silent let's turn it up to ISO let's quickly turn it up this

standard okay now Ossa stander is very quiet again very quiet now let's last one let's turn up the turbo and I'm just using the presets guys am I gonna go all the way and turn up the turbo now we got some noise out here again the glass is open this is a bit loud all right so I just quickly wanted to demo that just to give you guys an idea that they are PWM now in order for you to enable the PWM function the the fan header has to be connected to CPU fan to fan one or CPU fan basically the first on your motherboard you guys are gonna see a fan header it's

gonna say 1 or CPU 1 just connected the bat header and the PWM function is gonna work but regardless now let's play with the RGB and let me just you know let's break let's break the fans down right now let's go guys so we are in this now I do have LED setup now one bad thing is it doesn't come with the remote it does come with this uh little dongle over here this is a reset switch it basically they're supposed to go on top of the PC where your reset switches however my rig doesn't have a reset switch so I wouldn't be able to use this so I have this as an external

just to show you guys as a demo like I said it doesn't come with a remote so essentially what happens is and like I said previously the oral sync is not compatible with this setup because these fans come with a 3 pin connector and my mobo is a 4 pin connector has a crosshair 6 hero motherboard now the 3-pin connector I believe is 5 volts and a 12 and a 4 pin connector is 12 volts so let me just quickly show you guys again so I'm gonna press this right now this is a blue color so we've now right now this is a yellow color stem spinning this is like mostly a light blue color this is pink right now use it did all the different presets that it goes now this is white and

there's just a solid red that looks pretty hot this is a solid green solid blue solid yellow now the others not really yellow they said like a light blue this is a pink again yellow white blanks pretty hot weights always hot all right now they got like a rainbow effect here which is pretty fire and now this is Brad doing this little thing over here now the effects are not listed in the manual unfortunately so we got green we got blue doing the same thing yellow we got pink we got white we got Brad gun all right now there's just switching colors red and green back to red to green

now to do some yellow color to blue to yellow I mean you got plenty of these effects guys so now it's doing wyatt it's just that's that's pretty hot right here the white and you have the white - OH - red that's pretty dope what else we got that's gonna do this whole setup that's it and then there was a rainbow color here I should start on the beginning yeah this color over here has basically it and then if you want to turn them off you just hold this and voila all the lights turn off and then we'll press it and that's it and that's how simple it is guys anyways let's get into

conclusion time I got lots to say about the setup let's go macho guys so is conclusion time now quickly I just want to show you guys the hub one last time basically how it looks and basically the features now since I did play with it I had a better understanding now this is the reset switch I was telling you guys my NZXT th 500 case doesn't have a reset button so this is the little switch so essentially what happens is you keep on pressing it and the colors change so that's pretty cool it's pretty neat I gotta admit but it doesn't come with the remote

unfortunately of course molex and then of course our PWM 4 and connect there and that's basically it and this is the hub now let's quickly compare alright I want to show you guys let's quickly compare so now this is the let's look alright these are the fans right I want to compare them how they look they're pretty look they're not bad I can't say they're for the price for the price of Peters pretty fine now these are the age old ones alright these are the egg old ones I got em in hey come on this feel a lot better a little more thicker alright these are the dark flash

one's a little more thicker the fan blades just putting side to side so you guys could see you guys just for yourselves fan blades a little thicker on the the dark flash rather than up here you know what I'm saying it's a little more thicker just they're both 120 you know but a little more thicker let's go show them in the back give you guys a look let you guys judge for themselves but I just think the dark place a little more bigger and these are the dr twelves again fantastic fans give you guys the are twelves right here on the right hand side the agel dr 12 up here let's

turn them around guys one last look just a go once it a little bigger man I got him it they're going with just a little more bigger but listen you can't go you can't go wrong guys so you got a six pack there PWM really really quiet I'm when I put them on silent the negatives are yeah you know you don't get a remote you got to use that stupid reset button to basically switch the colors but besides that man for the price I just can't say that the wack man there they pretty dope now unfortunately all of these or asynch fans do come with the 5 volt

header most of the motherboards you know are you know 4 pin they usually come with three pin now if your motherboard I didn't make you know the stateís in my other review for the AYGO fans if you do have a 4 pin connector RGB connector on your motherboard these fans are not gonna work with or sync motherboards so you're just you know basically out of luck

you would have to either use the remote control or this little switch you know but what can I say pack can't go wrong good airflow the colors I you know the price is good man the price is good especially what you get out of here like I said this was essentially from one of my subs he loved to comment he or she loved to comment and you know to let me know that.
