capability bitch make sure when you purchase memory it will be compatible with your machine by checking the memory itself on the original of the laptop and make sure what's the maximum capacity that the motherboard can handle to max out the memory you can either go to the menu of manufacturer website to double-check or there's a lot of third-party website out there that will tell you the specifications for your model to your machine I'm gonna turn on my 

laptop I'm gonna show you a benchmark test for the memory they do come with a clamshell case to protect it my machine boots up instantly and everything is snappy it's very fast and stable I'm gonna zoom in hopefully yes it can see the specification of my laptop and the benchmark with this memory speed it boosted up my performance of the laptop by two 

numbers for the windows 7 reading but we all know usually those are not accurate as the best a bunch testing software here's my numbers for Windows 7 .

total kit and the reason I've got this kid is because I'm gonna be upgrading my MSI gaming GT 70 which I'll show you guys a little bit later on in the video so I'm going to be basically taking out the RAM inside or installing them on the same channel because currently a kick is a ram inside here and installing this 16 here but set so potentially we can have 24 gigabytes of RAM inside this laptop so I'm really really excited to get this Ram a big B thank he goes out to 

Kingston HyperX we're sending out the RAM and also MSI for giving me this laptop it is an absolute beast so without further ado let's actually take a look at the RAM so the RAM comes in this like clear perspex plastic and it's simply just the RAM inside with obviously the warranty and installation guide so we're simply going to cut down the side of the box to hopefully open up on one side there we go one of the sticks already just fell out we'll take a 

closer look at this in a second just put that one there and let's just flip the up one out so yet inside here it looks like you get a HyperX sticker so we'll see if you had a PC you can stick on the sticker and then you also get your warranty and installation guide so here is one of the modules guys obviously this is an 8 gigabyte module and for you guys that don't know so dim Ram is usually associated with laptops because of its small size and smaller pin size as you can 

see it's got this black theme to it with white logos with white HyperX and obviously the impact and then obviously on the back you got your specifications as far as like purse thick so essentially it's a kit of 21.3 5 volts and it's obviously got the e serial the model number and any other information you may require if you are ever buying a ramp for a laptop then please make sure you man use manufactures websites to make sure the RAM you're buying will go in your machine because like I said a lot of laptop Ram depends on voltage it depends on the socket the

that aside for a second and here we have our Dell laptop this is an X this is a Dell studio 1458 uses the same memory also always make sure to check your memory matches before you purchase any memory piece look for the memory you can use crucial comm to find out what kind of memory you have and whatever you need and we're going to flip this over and install our memory you use my flathead to take that out so there we have it alright so you see our
