the person wanted to buy a PC more pacifically they wanted to buy a PC with RGB lighting if it didn't have RGB they weren't gonna buy it so of course I have fulfilled the request and salt the PC though it had simple ddr3 memory in it and now here's the thing at that time I'm pretty sure that person did not know that ddr4 Corsair Vengeance per memory existed had they had no one I don't think I would have got that sale because this is why, welcome back to check your city and I got sent over a review kit of 16 gigabytes of vengeance per a GB memory this is to

buy a gigabyte sticks and the good news is straight away this has thirty-two hundred megahertz XMP profiles with CL 16-time is at one point three five volt and why that's a good thing is because this means that it has Samsung BG memory great for overclocking and also great for AMD rise and platform users so I was able to get this stuff up to thirty six hundred megahertz on a be 350 motherboard and also I was able to get it up to thirty six hundred megahertz where

CL nineteen timings as well on an Intel motherboards so there was no difference in terms of imax overclocks on different platforms and the IQ software works tremendously well you can change the lighting effects on this RGB memory to match your build there's a lot of different effects that you can go through and also you can change the speed and even link it to your other individual items in the whole profile however one thing I will state is that I tried an x4 70

motherboard and also a be 350 motherboard and the IQ software still needs to be updated to support those platforms as it did work flawlessly on the z3 70 and the 8th gen 8700 K that's if you want to extract the lighting effects and you want to match it all up and make it work properly at the moment I'm sure they will update that in the future but we're looking at pricing here the 32 hundred megahertz 16 gigabyte kid if you're in Australia  and for this price it's really that trade-off of do you want the memory with

the extra bling because I think this is the best ddr4 memory that I've seen to date I've got the Trident Z here as well and that looks really good but with the Corsair Vengeance Pro you can control the lighting effects as well as having what I thought was a bit stronger a glow compared to the transi and also pulling out my thermal imaging camera to test temperatures at the 3200

mega nodes XMP profiles show that the heat sinks aren't just for bling either they actually do perform quite well reaching a maximum of 38 degrees Celsius under a stress test whilst in a 23 degree ambient environment comparing this to the Trident Z was scoring in the similar ballpark so the heat sinks aren't just for aesthetics they're also for formitz as well another thing about the Vengeance Pro is you can also get up to 4000 megahertz XMP profiles however

generally the higher the XMP profile the more expensive the memory and comparing it against the previous generation vengeance RGB which is the non pro you can't control the led effects on that but you do get the light spreaders which diffuse light and they are non-transferable to the vengeance Pro they won't fit but you can get that with XMP profiles up to 40 to 66

megahertz - and in conclusion to quickly wrap this up the RGB vengeance per memory it does perform really well it does have the bling and it does have the control via the software however it is a little bit expensive even compared to the previous non pro RGB memory so all the extra features worth that premium that is the question I will say seeing this stuff in the flesh and also seeing it at Computex I was very impressed it is pretty much the gold standard for RGB memory in 2018 .

Corsair CMW32GX4M2C3200C16W Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB  DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) C16 Desktop Memory

a 2018 Coursera showed off their new of engines a pro or GB memory and as you guys can see here that did send over one of their kids for me to take a look at now it's ultra first LED or even or GB memory they did first have their LED memory which was just a white LED then they did also have their vengeance or GB memory but the problem with their previous RGB memory was that you can only have a single color throughout the entire them at a single time

which was a bit limited when you looked at some of the competitors like a g.skill stridency RGB a memory where you could have a multiple colors but now if they're new vintages Pro memory you do get a ten addressable RGB LEDs throughout the entire them which eliza's you get that much cooler or lighting effects as you guys can see already here now that's for the Eastburn courser did keep it nice and simple by removing those at SAAP a heat spreader things which

did kind of get into the way of your lighting I saw by rooming that you can't see it that much or more of your light bar and just getting at that much more a lighting throughout your case the heat barriers also analyze the aluminum and just it's a more of a simple design which I personally do prefer compared to some of the other ones out there which can get a bit too crazy personally mats for the kids sizes and the speeds firstly the one I have here is a 16 gig kit a to 8

gigs that can go up to 3,200 a megahertz but you do get different kids that ranges from 16 to 64 gigs and speeds are from 2666 a megahertz to 3600 megahertz so you do have some options that you can go for that's for the lighting effects you will need to go down low crosshairs IQ software which has a bunch of different lighting effects that you can apply and get cool lighting effects especially now because it is that addressable already be led you do again have a bunch of different effects you have a bunch of different options so of course you can get the standard

static color if you wanted to go for that which just looks like the previous RGB of vengence memory and you do also get a rainbow wave rainbow color shift color pulse color wave rain fissure sequential marquee and also temperature and then some of the effects you can also change the speed at which the effects change you can change the direction from left to right up and down so on and then also the colors of a some of the effects as well make it astonished static color you would choose or make it just random so that it just randomizes all of the colors as for

that you can also link all of your Corsair IQ enabled or GB products together so if you do have your memory and they say RGB fast you have LEDs or just some of your peripherals or the RGB which works as IQ then you can link all of them together to get an instinct a lighting effect which looks really awesome not only that but Corsair is also parting up with some of the game manufacturers to link their components to some of their games which just adds the entire new feeling to how to actually work so if you look at a far cry 5 which for Sarah is currency as

implemented you can have different effects depending on what actually goes on inside the game so if you swim for example it's going to have a lighter of white colors little blue colors which is going to echo throughout the of their auto-filled lighting you also if you get on fire it's going to get like a fiery effect I will show you guys how it looks and then also if you take damage it's gonna flash red and otherwise it's just going to have like the blue and red and whites like kind of like the American flag it's going to have an effect like that which just really looks cool and if

they can apply that to more and more games it's just going to enhance your gaming experience and just make it that much more enjoyable so I am looking forward to seeing how many more games they can add this to just make it that it looked now I did also run into a few problems with the new of vengence pro or GB memory first up I was not able to individually change the colors of the LEDs on the dem it was only fixed to on static to a single color but with the effects

I was able to get that a color change throughout the LED or which you would want but for just a static color it's exactly the same alike the previous of engines or GB memory was only static color you can't really change the colors of the LEDs individually secondly I did also run into a few problems when connecting the previous RGB of engines of memory with the new vengeance pro or GB memory there it looked like IQ prioritized the previous RGB vengeance memory

above the new pro memory so I wasn't really able to change the effects of the vengeance Pro RGB memory it was only focused with the previous version so that was also a problem and then finally I did also run into a problem playing far cry 5 where the fans and the RGB LED strip would link with the game but for some reason the Vengeance Pro RGB memory would just shut down completely and it wouldn't show anything but when getting out of the game it was

completely fine again but it did feel like all of these were just some software bugs so hopefully Corsair will bring out some software updated to resolve all of these problems well that's pretty much it for my review of the Corsair Vengeance a pro RGB memory a while back I did a make a video comparing their previous Avengers RGB memory to the G scale try that Z memory and a lot of guys that did say that the Trident Z or Z remember you did a lookup pitcher because

they did have that multiple colors that you can't apply but now of course there's new venue Pro memory I kind of have to go with the new advantage of our memory it doesn't look better in my opinion just because it's more simple and yeah it just looks kind of bit better for me .
