today we're going to be reviewing the G 602 Wireless Gaming Mouse by Logitech after using this mouse for more than six months since November 2015 I give this product a price to value ratio of 10 out of 10 and that's because you get 100% of your money's worth you can get this on Amazon and I'll have it in the description below but this mouse does have its drawbacks and we'll cover them in this for review with that said when reviewing a mouse I look at four
factors comfort build quality responsiveness and utility first off in terms of comfort this mouse is the best by far it has a palm grip design with an even curve that cups your hand no where does your finger go over the edge of the mouse and rub against the surface of the mouse is on I love the design of this mouse and the utility it gives the thumb grip feels very natural and prevents your thumb from touching the mouse pad or the table and the right side of the mouse is no different it juts out far enough for a deep cliff that catches your ring finger and pinky
finger from sliding off the mouse I think more mouse companies need to follow this design language and the company I think that does this is my onyx within my onyx now's 7,000 miles I'll link that below too so for comfort I give this mouse a ten out of ten even the materials used on the mouse is awesome it has a soft sandpaper texture on the sides the left and right click is a smooth plastic and the middle portion has a rubber webbing to it that gives your palm a strong firm hold that brings the issue of build quality and I give this mouse a build quality of nine out
of ten the G 602 is made of a lot of different plastics and parts the overall weight of the mouse is pretty hefty but the weight distribution of the G 602 makes up for its hefty weight moving on there's a definite difference between the Teflon feet on a mouse like the Razer DeathAdder and regular glide feet on the G 602 gaming mouse logitech could have put teflon feet on the mouse to make it a better feel for you mousepad but that's the main reason I give the bill quality a 9 out of 10 utility is one of the biggest buying factors for this Mouse I give this mouse a 10 out of
10 for utility this mouse is completely wireless there are no wires to deal with and that alone gives you such a sense of freedom then no wired mouse can give you it's so awesome having no cable to pull with a wireless mouse but we'll talk about the wireless aspect in the responsive factor the second aspect to the utility of the G 602 Mouse is that nine extra programmable buttons 6 on the side of the thumb to next to the left click button and one on the scroll wheel the Logitech Gaming software lets you program each button to do any function you want specific to
the program you're working on so depending on the program I'm on each button will have its own feature set this is what makes this not only a really good Gaming Mouse but in overall one of the best multitasking productivity Mouse you can get now I'm not sure why people say the MX master is such a good multitasking Mouse when you really don't have any hotkeys to play around with or shortcut keys if you want to call it that with the G 602 miles you have nine extra
programmable buttons that you can set to do whatever you want now some may say these buttons can be difficult to reach but coming from the Razer Multan Naga Gaming Mouse the G 602 Mouse is a lot more convenient to access and press clicking these buttons are really intuitive the gaps between the buttons make it easy to tell without looking at which button I'm pressing whether it be the top or bottom row G 9 g 6 or G 4 I know which one I'm pressing without even having to look at it this mouse is one of the best productivity multitasking Mouse you can get no
lie moving forward the battery life on this mouse is superb from day one I had the mouse turned on 24/7 on performance mode and it lasted me from December 22nd 2015 to March 1st 2016 that's sixty nine days or in other words 1656 hours now I know Logitech says its battery lasts up to 250 hours but they probably mean constant use of the mouse I have this on even while I'm sleeping so the mouse goes on standby mode which is how I think I got 1656 hours of usage and so in total I give this mouse a 10 out of 10 for utility the last factor in this Mouse
review is responsiveness for responsiveness I give the G 602 Mouse a value of 9 out of 10 I took one point off mainly for the reason that I wish the mouse had a greater dpi setting because it is a gaming mouse coming from the razer deathadder with a max 10,000 DPI sensor to this mouse with a 2500 dpi sensor there is a subtle but noticeable difference with the accuracy and precision of the cursor speed and movement now I like to move my cursor fast like a racecar which is how I think I noticed this lower precision and accuracy with a 2500 dpi sensor but if
you like an average or slow cursor speed this 2500 dpi sensor shouldn't be a problem so to touch on the wireless response of this mouse I find that the 2.4 gigahertz USB receiver has no lag time or interference which really surprised me for a wireless mouse so if you're worrying about lag time between the mouse movement and the cursor movement on your computer there is really nothing to worry about the reaction time it takes for you to move the mouse and the
computer to read those movements is spot-on all in all this wireless gaming mouse hits the value meter out of the ballpark with a grand slam there's honestly a lot more I could talk about there's just too much to go over so if you have any questions or concerns leave them in the comments below and I'll get back to you as soon as possible again I give this product a price to value ratio of 10 out of 10 it does have its cons with a decent dpi of 2500 and of course it has no Teflon feet for a nice glide on the mousepad but the build quality comfort responsiveness and
utility is first-class quality for the price you pay well
on a portable power bank Wireless AP SD card and USB reader for your mobile devices check the link in the review description to learn more about the adata - drive air AE 400 now the obvious thing the obvious misunderstanding is the Logitech g600 2 is a follow up to the G 600 it is not in fact brandon was asking me before we started so for those of you who don't know Brandon is b-roll everyone's decided that they want to use their real names now so there you
have it so Brandon was asking me well ok what's it like how does it compare to that other one we have and I kind of went I don't know like I don't know what to say because the G 602 is so different from any other product like what is it is it an FPS mouse is it an MMO Mouse is it a wireless mouse is that a gaming mouse is that this is it that it's a lot of different things and I really feel like particularly with Logitech's pricing of this mouse they've made a lot of other
products in the market from other product lines and from their own product line kind of irrelevant which is both a compliment as well as something you know kind of kind of scary because from a business perspective you want you know a better average sell price you want you know better margin you want this you want that and this is a very value oriented option that appeal should appeal to almost anyone so without further ado this my friends is the G 602
buckle my shoe anyway so it takes their new science wins approach to design which means a couple of different things well most importantly very very rugged materials so the finish on the top is a slightly textured hard plastic finish for the left and right mouse buttons a rubberized textured finish here for the palm rest and then a more textured matte black that goes all the way around the right side of the mouse all the way to the back and then around the left side where your thumb rests so this kind of reminds me of their older like they're really old
performance mxr like like they're really shapely wireless mice a little bit in terms of the shape a much more sleek more streamlined lower more optimized for gaming okay so that the whole idea behind science wins is these materials aren't going to wear out the next idea behind science winds is other things aren't going to wear out so these buttons here are rated for twenty million clicks each which is outstanding but feet on the bottom are rated for 250 kilometers of travel and you can tell there's quite a large surface area to them both around the outsides of the
mouse as well as around the optical sensor yes my friends this is an optical mouse it is a sort of closer optical mouse that only runs at 2500 dpi and you might kind of go oh well I could get a higher dpi Mouse for that money yes you could but would you need it this is a return to practicality is the DPI race over Logitech g600 2 says may be which is fascinating to me because 2500 dpi is more than I've ever used in my life and some people do particularly like very high sensitivity but many don't and some people are noticing issues
particularly with laser mice which the very high DPI Mouse tend to be and acceleration issues and we shouldn't see any of that although I haven't tried the mouse yet but I'm stoked to turn it on so also here on the bottom we're going to find a power switch so you can turn it off or you can turn it on but I can't imagine why you'd want to turn it off more on that in a moment as well as check that out double-a batteries gone are the proprietary battery packs and what's even more impressive about this is the battery life of this mouse logitech is quoting 250 hours if
you have both batteries installed of continuous gaming in gaming performance mode so like if you could actually game for 250 hours straight then you could probably drain both batteries you don't have to use both batteries if you want to adjust the weight and the weight distribution you can install just one battery either in the right or in the left and you'll get about 125 hours it actually says 240 hours on the Box 250 on their website so let's just assume somewhere in that
range and then half of somewhere in that range you can also switch it to endurance mode using the switch right here and then you will actually get seen green and blue so in like green endurance mode you can get up to 1400 hours of battery life on a single charge so this is a prime candidate for just having a couple rechargeable batteries nearby and basically not even worrying about the wireless aspect now they've they're claiming that it is gaming grade Wireless so no perceivable latency however it should be noted that this mouse only does 500
Hertz so 500 reports per second we've seen gaming mice that are capable of a thousand but that really raises the question can people feel the difference between 500 Hertz and a thousand and how would that affect battery life and all those other things so is this the reasonable trade-off in much the same way that 2500 dpi is I'll let you guys be the judge of that because while I haven't used fire higher than 2500 dpi on a regular basis I do tend to crank my mice up to as high a
refresh rate as I can so now let's go ahead and have a look at the actual mouse because we've talked a lot about the technology not a lot about what's on here so it has 11 programmable buttons so you can see that there are some very sensitively laid out G keys this is again where I find this mouse to be kind of in-between fps and MMO if you look at the layout of the buttons on the Left there's enough that you could you know get some you know toots and toolbelt or whatever bindings going on in there and there's sort of more than you might need for a typical
FPS you know if you just need push-to-talk throw grenade melee and that's about it but I personally think there's a really good balance because I can actually reach them all so while an MMO Mouse might make might you know you might want more buttons the reality of it is you're not going to be able to tactile II feel a lot of them anyway and this even with my smaller hands is very comfortable and very reachable which is which is cool so it's up to you guys
whether sort of again the race to more actually makes sense or whether it doesn't on the top two more programmable buttons up here so these are by default bound to dpi so you have five different dpi settings right there 1 2 3 4 5 works just the same way as many other Logitech mice do but of course you can remap them to macros or other functionality or whatever else the case may be oh yeah accessories right I guess that matters so there's they're included wireless dongle which is extremely low profile not their Universal receiver which can have up to 6 different
devices because this is a gaming grade one and then you've also got a little extension doodad here so you can plug get into your USB port and then have it sit somewhere a little bit closer to you mice if that makes you feel better for whatever reason so that's pretty much it guys I mean the only thing left is what do you oh yeah there's a battery indicator apparently right now that would be here of course um so the only thing left is what do you guys think what Mouse is this
most similar to what would you compare it to and are you looking real closely at the gee 602 right
Logitech G602 Lag-Free Wireless Gaming Mouse review
the Logitech g600 2 Wireless Gaming Mouse it is uh up to 2500 dpi range of 250 to 2500 rated 420 million left and right clicks and movement of 250 kilometers so like moving it I guess I don't know just got drag coefficients listed here for when you're moving the mouse a bunch of crazy stuff that I Allison everything that about it's got you lovin you 1111 programmable controls high accuracy Delta zero sensor and yeah so I guess I want to take a look at this today Iit was on sale on Amazon and right now I've got the g502 and I thought you know what that's a good opportunity to grab this take a look at it see what's going on and see if it actually holds up for gaming so I got the Logitech g600 let's open it up get right out of the box you get a looks like a USB extender so Taipei to Taipei so that you can presumably put the dongle wherever you want it and inside the box you have manuals Logitech Gaming Mouse set-up guide and the important safety compliance and warranty information cards and then here
you have the mouse so you have three 602 and a 500 Hertz wireless receiver so you can connect it to your computer so it looks like apparently right here between the switch and the scroll wheel there are some LEDs to indicate the battery level and the mode which is canon Kenna handy so this switch is your performance or endurance mode switch you have a blue light for performance mode or a green light for endurance mode presumably for battery life and input speed and stuff like that so your g10 button right there that front button operates as your dpi
plus and your g11 operates as your dpi minus button let's see so this as I presumed is your dpi substitute II display yes so you can see what setting you currently have enabled you can set that up in the Logitech software program g4 and g5 so this button this button are your forward and back keys for when you're browsing the web you can just for a page back in page whatever you want just like that alright so that was kind of a cluster okay so here we are I've been using the
g6 tattoo for about three seconds now because I had to uninstall logitech gaming software and then uninstall the my both of my mice and then reinstall logitech gaming software which then I had to restart my computer again so it just took a while anyway so now it's showing up in the Logitech Gaming software which is good you can see click on this you can see if you restore defaults the default says it has five different dps settings so 2500 which is for absolute insane people god it's nuts that's what 2015 100 1000 and 500 500 being what I typically use I usually
use around 750 600 something that anyways you can see it's got pulling rate at 500 which is cool and you can assign the default to be whatever you want default typically is indicated by the little blue diamond over whatever you want so that's kind of cool I like to kick it down to three so that I don't accidentally go absolutely insane with the DPI settings you can see maybe that when you press the buttons on top right there that changes your dpi settings so I'm going to set
it to 500 and let's see how shooting overwatch robots works with the G 602 okay mm-hmm all right so here I'm trying out to the G 602 I just joined match it feels fine nothing feels so after it's a little bit of preliminary testing playing with the G 602 overall I really I really like it and I'm coming from the g502 and it has Jesus Christ I'm knocking over all my Funko's there goes in yatta and his stupid thing has a very similar grip style to the g502 it's got a very similar
beveled thumb rest here the main difference is the weight so it's a lot heavier feeling to me than the g502 and I have every weight that it came with populated in the 502 the G 602 feels heavier so at this point I tried make a correction after a quick google search the g502 fully loaded weighs one hundred and sixty-eight grams and the g 602 with both batteries weighs 150 - so it's slightly lighter than the g502 so I stand corrected and I have heard and I haven't tested yet so let me try let me turn it off and then let me try this real fast I've heard that if you take out one
of the batteries it'll still work which is really cool so I wanted to give that shot so there goes one of the door cells and yes it does still work and it's lighter so it's approximately that much lighter it's kind of cool so that's actually really handy I have some some high capacity and a loop rechargeable batteries I'm gonna use in this guy so I may end up going with just a single double-a in it to see how it goes I didn't honestly notice too much of a difference between the
performance and endurance modes so when you switch the switch blue performance and green is eco-friendly mode and I didn't really notice any difference at all so take that for what it's worth the only thing that is strange to me and it's because I'm coming from the g502 on the G 602 on these side buttons right here your thumb naturally kind of rests up against them when you're holding the mouse and if you I don't know if you can see but they're a little bit sharp they're like angled almost oh my god it's freaking out trying to focus there you go you can kind
of see that the the buttons on the mouse are angled and they have a kind of like a sharp point and that that's gonna take some some getting used to but it's really nice having this many buttons ready to go it's more in line with like an MMO Mouse like a logitech MMO series Mouse my brother has one of them I'm probably gonna stick with it honestly I like that that if it feels it feels just really good so this black area all the way around is this slightly textured grip
tape type feel but not at all as harsh as a grip tape the palm rest or so where your pumps it so that's u-shape area right here is is rubbery and soft and has these very very fine grooves in them you will probably not be able to see it but I'll try and show it you can kind of see yeah there we go those grooves which is kind of cool so it feels really good in the hand I I'm kind of like a I have a clog grip so I usually hold the mouse pretty much just like this I don't I don't
know that works for me I've got pretty big hands so there's not many mice that I feel like my hand can fully fit on and this one does so it feels slightly larger than the g502 anyways the g6o to you feels really good it feels very premium nice grippy textures all around the sides and then in the palm and not that your palm really like controls and lasts too much but the buttons the button layout feels really good and they're all very easy easy to reach on the 502 no there we go
this back button right there I struggle to it hit sometimes and then also that button right there that default is like a dpi drop or whatever for like when you're aiming or something I don't know it's kind of cheesy if if I if I'm using that one so if I'm using this front button OOP oh God hi is this over so if I use this front button here I have easy access to these two but then I don't really have access to this one which is just kind of shitty so the g6 - I feel like the buttons are all small enough that I can fairly easily reach all of them which is pretty cool so I guess for now I'm
just going to keep using it for a little bit to see see how it works in actual gameplay I guess I can post an update if I turn out to hate it or if the battery life blows this is just like a preliminary review or first look I should say but overall I really really enjoy it anyways thanks for watching it's kind of a weird video but I'm gonna see see how it goes and see how this Mouse works in the long run because I really like it and I love having fewer cords out on my desk and I found that on my GC 502 like has happened like three times in just review my cords get caught my Funko pops and I want my fucking pops here cuz it cool
the Logitech g600 Wireless Gaming Mouse and I also have this G 240 mouse pad to go along with it so hey let's not waste any time let's get right into it all right guys here we have the Logitech g600 Wireless Gaming Mouse now this is supposed to be a beast of a mouse for gaming but I'm actually going to be trying to use it for video editing as well as some gaming here and there but the main purpose is the video editing and that's because it has a ton of
controls so these are all there are a lot of programmable buttons on this thing and I want to see if that could make my workflow easier for editing videos I'm just taking a quick look around the box on the right side it'll tell you what's inside um in the back it'll tell you some of the features on here like 11 programmable controls it has up to 250 hours of wireless gaming and I think it runs on two double-a batteries it's got really high accuracy on the fly adjustable dpi
which is 250 to 200 2500 which is quite a bit LED battery life indicator and performance and endurance mode to change up how much battery life is being used so there's like an endurance mode where you can laughs a really long time and a gaming mode where it got better performance so you can actually customize this and this thing is built for longevity it's supposed to last up to 20 million clicks so ask a lot of clicking you have to do there but it supposed to last a while if we open up the box you can actually see the mouse itself right here and it's a pretty
nice looking Mouse I really like to look I use a performance MX like a Logitech performance MX mouse and I'm going to see if this can be a replacement for that and because that's an amazing Mouse but I'm really interested in these programmable buttons so let's see if we can actually get this thing open and here they have a little tag about what it does and all that stuff so it has a bunch of tape here we're going to slice right through this boom that's taken care of so
let's see if we can pull this thing and boom that's pretty much it for the box so let's see what else we've got here what we can pull out so we've got some instructions I'm sure of course so we've got some instructions warranty information stuff like that so this comes with a wireless receiver so it's not like Bluetooth or anything you're going to have this to use this little USB dongle to plug it in and I think this runs have 500 Hertz so it should be very responsive very fast so let's see if we can actually get the mouse out when you open up inside you also get this little a USB
cable so if you want to get the wireless dongle to be closer to you maybe you want a better response maybe this will help to get it just a little bit closer but that's included as well and let's see if we can get some of this stuff off alright guys so in order to get to this thing you really have to duck deconstruct the box and it finally gets you to the mouse itself and of course got to take out this little dongle so boom that's everything here we're gonna put this away for now so here's
the mouse and this has a very interesting feel this is not really a rubberized feel on the sides but I can't even tell what I can't even describe this really it's very interesting feel it's a very interesting texture it doesn't feel bad though just not something I'm used to it feels pretty comfortable in the hand so far so good like it feels pretty solid I like this so far just show you guys a little bit around the mouse itself you have the programmable buttons on the sides here they're all actually numbered so you can know which button is which you don't have to take a
guess and you also have two along the sides here so in total you get 11 buttons and of course you've got the scroll wheel and down here you have a little switch where you can actually switch to endurance mode or performance mode on let's see if we can take out this a piece of paper here so that we can act we get this thing on and as you guys can see it actually lights up blue when you're in I think this is the gaming mode and in performance mode is green and if I'm not
right about that I can add I'll add an annotation to let you guys know but so far this is it it feels really nice it feels very very similar to the performance MX I'm really hoping I can customize the commands to these buttons to make it you know do whatever I want this could be a really really helpful tool when video editing so that I don't have to hit any keyboard shortcuts so this would be really cool to see it's got a nice little texture on the in the middle of it right here and it
feels actually really nice it's like a rubberized feel I'm still not sure what this feeling is right here but I'll let you guys know it feels very nice though and of course is the dongle right here it's 500 Hertz as I mentioned before and I also got this gaming mouse pad and this is supposed to be like a large mouse pad so that you know you can have a lot of surface let's see here if I can open this up this was the main unboxing this is just kind of like a bonus so it's the G 240 mouse
pad and I wanted something that's really nice I have like a youtube mouse pad right now but I wanted something that was a little bit larger than that so I'm getting this open here you can just pull it out and pretty much that's it this is a really simple unboxing for that and I guess this is all of the paperwork that you get right here so nothing too special and this is a actually this is actually a very very large mouse pad guys this is huge a lot bigger than I expected but this is
exactly the kind I wanted I wanted something with a lot of surface area so this is actually really really nice I'm going to try this out let you guys know how it works and let you guys know how performs outside of the gaming um also you know with gaming I'll include both those in my review see how it works for video editing gaming all that good stuff but pretty much that's it for this unboxing guys
