again we're looking at an ad fx8 core processor a black edition cpu so you can overclock it on top you see it says FX 8350 here and there also are some specifications it looks like AMD decided to use the same box just like the last generation of our facts CPUs because it says world's first eight her desktop processor this one isn't anymore but that doesn't matter on this side in D basically wants you to combine this cpu with the AMD Radeon HD graphics cards and an AMD nines used chips on the back of the box as always as a description in different 


languages now on the other side aim to tell see how good this processor does and here's the CPU itself inside the box the box itself is made out of metal and it looks and feels great if that matters trust me it looks even better in real life than it does through the camera I can only say good job aim beyond the amazing metal box it's outstanding and I've never seen such a nice CPU box before but now let's open a box up and see what's inside alright here's the manual and warranty here's the stock cooler that comes with the CPU and it looks very nice I really like 

that ain t includes these get coolers and they're even heat pipes thermal paste comes replied already and the fan uses a four pin fan connector here's the CPU with the sticker in the plastic protection I'll take out the CPU so we can take a closer look at and there it is it looks very nice and it already feels more powerful and like I've said before the in three plus socket is still used as well as the same chipsets that's why install this processor in the ass rack 990 FX Xtreme 3 

motherboard and as for cooling I decided to go with the stock cooler but now let's get to the specifications the AMD FX 8350 is an 8 core Bashar CPU that has a base clock of 4.0 gigahertz and a turbo clock of 4.2 gigahertz it has a TDP of 125 watts and that's because the same old 32 nanometer architecture still used 8 megawatts of level 2 as well as 8 megawatts of love 3 caches offered and the CPU also supports dual channel ddr3 1866 memory natively in CPUC the 

processor gets detected without any problems to voltages very low the latest instructions are used and to save energy the CPU will clock itself down to lower clocks with an idle instead of constantly running at 4.0 gigahertz this FX processor is a black edition one this means it has an unlocked multiplier and therefore you can overclock the CPU very easily as for the memory I got 8 gigabytes of ddr3 2000 Macker RAM installed but unfortunately a container to run at the 

rated frequency without overclocking the platform that's why I'm running this kit at 1866 megahertz but 2133 maker shouldn't be a problem just the gap between so 2000 makers isn't supported but let's move on to the benchmarks,so DM the FX 8350 CPU delivers great CPU performance for the price it definitely beats endless Core i5 processors but still in terms of raw CPU performance this affect CPU still 

can't reach the core i7 3770k but then again this effect cv 350 doesn't cost as much as an i7 or even an i5 processor great rendering performance is offered and in this case the i5 35 70k falls back behind this FX 8350 cpu gaming also works flawlessly and it's almost as good or as good as endless core i7 3770k the temperatures tend to be more on the higher side but for the stock cooler 65 degrees Celsius really is much for an 8 core the AMD effects Bashar CPUs definitely run cooler than endless Ivy Bridge CPUs and that's why you have a lot of headroom for 

overclocking this processor is fully unlocked and overclocking is made really easy and fun on this particular chip the aim of the FX 8350 also makes a very stable impression to me and that's good but still the CPU also has a dark side and that would be the power consumption we have to compare this FX 8350 with the i-5 35 70k performance wise and an idle this affect CPU consumes roughly 26 percent more power when the CPUs and follow that would be 46% more power and trust me that's really a lot but still if it don't care that much about the power 

consumption and are an AMD fan well for the price you get great performance and AMD definitely improved over the previous generation FX processors long story short this FX 8350 offers more performance than the Enfield Core i5 35 70 K costs less at the same time but has a much higher power consumption so in the end I'd say the CPU is meant for the Indian fuses that want great performance for the price you can overclock the CPU very easily and what I 

really like is that you can still use your aim 3 plus mod board even with the same 990 FX chipset as it still remains the flagship chipset model from AMD the power consumption is a lot higher than comparing this against insults processors but that's something you have to accept when using the CPU pros are great price performance ratio the CPU is very stable has some good temperatures supports high frequency memory and has an unlock multiplier and the effort makes overclocking very easy .

I'm going to be testing the FX 8350 now and 2019 probably the most popular FX cpu for AMD fans during the bulldozer days the FX 8350 was originally released in October of 2012 with an initial launch price of  not a bad price for an 8 core CPU right well if you want to call it an 8 core but that's a discussion for another time so this was Andy's answer to the i7 3770k or the second and third gen bridge series in general however it was pretty far behind in terms of gaming and productivity performance all things considered this reflected in its price being 

roughly 2/3 the cost of an Intel i7 but it's 2019 now so how does the CPU hold up the test system today is my brother's main rig which we recently transplanted into a new case if you guys wanted to check out that review it'll be leaked right up here it uses an AS rock 970 Xtreme for motherboard which is I guess not not the best vrm design for an eight-core FX CPU so overclocking was not an option it can run just fine it's stock frequencies so that's how we're 

gonna be testing it so the system configuration is an AMD FX 8350 Bashara stock speeds 4 gigahertz I believe is the all core with 4.1 gigahertz 2 core and 4.2 gigahertz single core turbo 16 gigabytes of Crucial Ballistix tracer ddr3 at 1600 megahertz of ZOTAC amp extreme 980ti this is an amazingly fast actually it is the fastest factory overclocked 980ti so yeah and like I said and asrock 970 extreme for motherboard so let's see the benchmarks just to note I know that 

some of these games aren't the newest of titles but you know I'm just doing what a what we can with what we have so we appreciate all your guys support we do have black ops 4 for you guys and battlefield 1 should be a decent measuring stick for a battlefield, so as you guys can see the CPU still seems to be able to hold its own right kind of surprising yeah 

maybe not for you FX holdouts battlefield one was really the only game that exhibited any kind of CPU bottlenecking with it but the issues that caused were very minor it was still playable the fire strike result overall is still fantastic though in that graphics core it just really drags up the overall score but as expected the CPU the physics core did leave the bit to be desired honestly though I was super surprised at how well everything ran specifically black ops for black ops for 

actually seemed to take advantage of a lot of the cores in the system I was I was that was surprising to me but even on my his main xeon system red beast back there i noticed when i play black ops 4 it loads down all the all the available threads so i'm not sure if it's just the way that the game is designed up or some some implementation of i don't know just some better optimizations for cpu usage but it's nice because that game actually ran super good overall it's still a capable cpu in the right configuration especially if you have it on the board where you 

can overclock it if you can get this thing base clocked overclocked or just not just do more than the multiplier overclock alone just an optimal overclock for this thing it can still perform pretty great however the Cinebench scores in single core performance still shows its weakness and it didn't even break a hundred that puts it roughly at a stock frequency 2.8 to 3 gigahertz i 7 930 that's first gen era and this came out in 2012 and that i7 930 came out in 2010 so even though it 

came out to compete with second and third gen it's still struggling to compete against first gen and well i mean it's on a and it's on the dead platform i don't know it's it's just an interesting thing I wouldn't go seeking one out I wouldn't make build a budget build around one unless you got one extremely cheap but if you already have one right now and you're still rocking it good you guys but I think it's just about it's time to upgrade and the upcoming rise in 3000 

series might be the hot ticket that is looking like it may even the field with Intel in terms of IPC and gaming performance productivity performances already you know get up there with it and I think it might be the final nail in the coffin to really get MD back to its heyday looking forward to that .
