it was only a matter of time people one of the most popular gaming minds from logitech g502 gets a wireless upgrade they've been doing such a good job of breaking down the stigma surrounding wireless peripherals and gaming in terms of battery life and sensor performance and their current wireless army portfolio is plenty satisfactory and so this is my experience with the g502 Lightspeed Wireless enjoy after this damn what I provide TX system you run and this

is an ATX machine you mean micro idea no no full sized ATX components it's just a small package it can still satisfy the Q 500 l by Coolermaster and affordable and the pretty compact enclosure for all your regular hardware with perforated exterior and PSU bracket the chips up-and-down flexible signed IO and awesome cable management the Q 500 l a compact frame with full ATX satisfaction check it out below alright so let's get the technicals out of the way first

among the entire wireless army from large tech this one is a bit on the heavier side at 114 grams with the option to add 16 more grams with these new weight systems keeping true to the original design either adding 8 grams to the back of the mouse and or distributing smaller 2 gram weights around the center balance for people who love a heavier Mouse under the hand this is awesome but I still prefer the lightweight champion the G pro Wireless that is the same

price by the way over the g502 Lightspeed and of course this is for all my FPS goodness where as I'm totally fine using the g502 for editing and like some more critical things but aim wise I'm more comfortable with lighter and as usual all the mice will be linked in the description below if you check out thank you very much now despite it looking the same with the side textures and the glossy buttons everything under the hood is actually totally new to make it even lighter versus the wired version so the fan-favorite hyper scroll wheel is now rubberized and fitter with

super tactile scroll steps and the same activation for hyper scroll the bottom magnetic plate is smaller to reveal our weight compartment there's also the cover for the USB receiver area and if you have a power-play mat this where you insert the power park that charges the mouse whenever it's on the powerplay mat oh my god that is a lot of power and honestly I would be okay for them not to include the power plate compatibility and lowering the price of it the G logo is now slightly larger with all the same RGB goodness and the buttons are on the right

places with dpi up and down browser switches and the sniper button or dpi shift is slightly too forward for my grip style but if we okay for larger hands also by default you can check the battery status with the g9 key that gives us a color code everything is remarkable as usual and you can save your profiles to the mouse itself but that is for some reason inside the gear settings and the DPI shift speeds are adjusted in one increments for really precise customization on that wonderful hero 16k sensor and that's what we've seen on all their flagship wireless mice so far

plus the hero ditions or the g pro and the g502 literally there's nothing bad to say about its performance there's no filtering no acceleration zero smoothing so you basically get raw tracking throughout the entire full range of dpi and the only disadvantage here is the lack of any lift off distance adjustment which is not really an issue at lower dpi but it might become a little bit too jerky at higher dpi settings as for battery life this thing is rated at 48 hours of continuous usage which means for my activity I can go for a whole week eight hours a day on a single charge the sensor is super efficient and shuts down whenever it's not in use and so the

only culprit here is that RGB illumination logo it's consuming more power than the sensor while in use oh and the cable included here is very nice but giving the deep housing for that micro USB port at the front don't lose the cable and so I remember using the g502 proteus spectrum the original one and you thinking it was my favorite Mouse because I loved the shape I love the buttons I love the scroll wheel and the weight at the time was not really an issue it provided a little bit more stability for my desktop operations but as mice got smaller as my

mice got lighter and wireless I've actually never looked back but I can totally see the appeal of the g502 wireless 4 to replace the original for many users and for casual gaming the weight is not really for me but I do feel slightly locked down and less free with my aim versus the total control that I feel with my flicks on the G pro wireless or the original G pro Mouse perhaps I've just gotten totally used to the simplified shape and not really fanned this whole complex design you know some years ago I was totally into that but now with this like the more economic shape

and much lighter body and the same price - I would say that for most people if you have for Mouse definitely consider the G Pro wireless instead unless of course you've been using the original G502 and really love the shape want to stick with it and then of course the g fiber - Wireless would be satisfactory but having said all that the launch tech G305 is still my top favorite Wireless recommendation for Mouse because of its shape because of its battery life

because what's wait at 99 grams and you can further reduce that by using a lithium battery and the price do it only  you cannot go wrong and if the G502 wireless was slightly cheaper to separate itself from the end game that there's the G Pro wireless then I would say you'd have better chances but for now I would recommend the G / Wireless all the way all right I don't

mean to disappoint and I know there are many people who love the g502 for exactly what it is it's like your heavier Mouse a bit more complicated shape cool design that hyper scroll wheel button as well but if you could look beyond the horizon especially at that
price point then definitely consider other options .

the logitech g502 Lightspeed essentially the wireless g502 been waiting about four years now and it's finally here I'm sure a lot of you been waiting as well so in this review we'll go over it all for you guys taking a look at the features pros and cons talking about my experience in case you want to pick up the g502 Lightspeed now taking a look at it you still had those same xi Grimble buttons the illuminated G logo the DPI light indicators and at first glance you might not even notice anything different at all same design same economic sand that's what we loved about the g502 getting this powered on working is as simple as turning on the power switch on the bottom

then you have two options for connectivity more on this in a second on the bottom man is also a spot for the removable power plate module and the bottom cover comes off where you could still you know beef this up with those optional weight sets where the cable used to be now has a micro USB slot for charging or you can just plug this in and use it wired if you want but uh don't do that at the feeds the whole purpose of the wireless mouse a braided cable is included inside the box for you as I mentioned before for those weights it comes with this little carrying

case inside here are the six weights there are four two gram ones and two four gram weights of the USB receiver in here and a USB extension plug so option one for connectivity is just using this with that receiver you plug it into any available USB slot on your PC and I'll pair automatically but second is with power play Logitech has their power play mouse pad from 2017 and this essentially when paired with the g502 Lightspeed gives you endless power and battery life and then no need to use that USB receiver so good news for current power play

users if you have the mouse pad or a current compatible Mouse you can just essentially plug this into your PC and then once you have the power play module you put it on the bottom of your mouse and then whenever you use this with the power play mouse pad one it'll just automatically pair and connect for you so you don't have to also have the USB receiver for the g502 Lightspeed and then also it'll just be charging your mouse whenever you're not you it's

the friction so whenever it's on the surface of the powerplay mouse pad your mouse will be charged so you can never run out of battery essentially but battery life over USB without the power play is pretty damn impressive I think you get 48 hours with the default RGB lighting in around 60 hours with no lights on so you can mess around with it keep it simple like a static color maybe at half brightness you'll get it at around 50 plus hours odds are with this let me lastly you around a week depending on your you know your gaming session and stuff like that

of course for me I charge it Friday I'm filming Tuesday and I currently have around 50 percent battery life left moving on the hero sensor returns with the 100 to 16000 dpi capabilities you have the adjustable report rate from 125 Hertz to 1,000 Hertz at one millisecond response time the 32-bit ARM processor also allows for on-board storage so if you bring this with you somewhere you're gonna have your dpi settings or profiles and lighting all saved onto the mouse itself now comparing this visually to the wired g502 goes without saying but we get to

ditch that cable the size and shapes will remain unchanged same button layout but there is one slightly noticeable change the hyper scroll wheel this now has a rubber accent on the wheel itself for improved grip and it's also more of a hallowed wheel as opposed to the more solid metal piece on the previous mice still feels the same still works the same still hyper scroll feature which is really cool you just now have that rubber coating and it's also gonna help

slightly cut down in the overall weight speaking of which the one thing everyone wants to know about the weight yes it is lighter than g502 Hero this is 114 grams versus the hero is 121 grams so not by much but it is still lighter and they managed to rework the entire internals and so cut down a few grams while still integrating you know the battery and the wireless technology however it's actually a lot lighter than you might think so with the entire internal redesign

making this possible being straight up with you guys it feels significantly lighter it may only be 7 grams on paper but was noticeable was the fact that we no longer had the added weight of the cable which wasn't included in the masses overall weight before that was a an additional 40 grams bringing the total weight of the g502 hero 261 grams versus now 114 grams on the Lightspeed that's definitely gonna be a lot more apparent now in the second you hold this

you're gonna notice it and if you wanted to like I said before add more weight to it you can add the additional 16 grams from the optional weight set on the bottom of the mouse but probably not right there's still the cutout in there sensor we can put in for weights and then you can also put two weights in the like the little module on the bottom here which is removable you can plug them in there and add some weight to the bottom of the mouse but trust me it feels a lot

lighter no cable which was 40 grams itself no long have to worry about you know attention or snagging this feels significantly lighter being straight up now before we get into my personal thoughts and opinions we have the G Hub software and first is the lighting tab for picking your effects and the colors you can do this for both the G logo and the DPI lights or sync them together sync them with other Logitech G products you know the drill next is the assignment

tab or changing up the 11 programmable buttons anything from commands keys actions macro system controls all that stuff you can also then go in and enable the G shift which is essentially like having a secondary command for these buttons on your mouse then is a dpi tab for customizing the five onboard dpi settings easily adjust the speeds and the report right here then you'll notice up top you can also have different profiles say for individual games and even some

have their own like lighting integrations but light sync but yeah this is G Hub you've seen it before probably so breaking it all down is a longtime user of the original G 502 from the Proteus proteus core pretty a spectrum the hero and now that you've having to light sync for me I said it before in previous mice reviews but it's a matter of muscle memory I've been using that Mouse for so long four plus years now and now the same designs and everything but it's

wireless so when I got the you know sit down started playing with it I had zero issues transitioning obviously I got all my previous data from like you know the DPI settings put them on here so it all matched and everything was a dream no issues with lag nothing like that obviously the one millisecond response time you're not gonna notice that pretty pretty much it's been really great very smooth and like I said before it does feel lighter just not having that extra

40 grams of the cable on here it's gonna be immediately noticeable when you start gaming with this but now's the part where I can go on a little and rant here to bring this all together as a tech reviewer I get tons of gaming peripherals in tons of different mice but as I've always said time and time again over the years I'm so useless you have a to that it's still my all-time favorite and I always go back to it so call me bias if you will but that's just my experience that's my

opinion for me for my hand for just my muscle memory and everything this is my favorite Mouse and now we have a wireless version of it I never once found the awake to be too much in the past like yeah it was heavier than some mice out there or a lot of mice out there but it was never a deal-breaker there's this community out there of people who will wait shame the mouse just to make themselves feel better it's kind of weird if you ask me they call it a brick but honestly who cares if it's too heavy for you guess what don't use it no one's forcing you with this

have been cool to have been 100 like under 100 grams yes but 114 grams feels a lot lighter and honestly it's not a big issue I've never once been in a gaming situation where the weight of this mouse has made me less better or worse in a situation it doesn't make sense but there's a reason why this is one of the most popular selling mice of all times there's a huge fan base behind it you don't have to buy this no one's forcing you no one's making you for the people out there

who've been waiting for this who have no issues with 114 grams now we're all gonna be happy so you don't have to like it but there's a reason why one of the top-selling mice of all time got another rerelease to be wireless to make a lot of people happy it's gonna sell extremely well so call me bias if you will but from everything I've tested I always go back to this I had one request Wireless and it's finally here so I'm very happy with that said there is sort of one con the price

point it's a
which is definitely pricey but you look at the initial release price of the other Logitech power-play mice in the past and they're there Lightspeed ones I remember the name of it but they were also 150 at launch so over time yes this will drop still pricey especially if you want to pick up the powerplay mouse pad for an additional hundred dollars but hey I'll gladly spend that for this I've been using this for plus years 150 for a

wireless version of my favorite Mouse ten out of ten I recommend so big thumbs up for me everyone out there has been the same boat who's been waiting for this Mouse guys it's finally here so that'll wrap it up my review of the logitech g502 Lightspeed

me a favorite Mouse no idea what you're talking about what's up guys and today we're gonna be checking out the brand-new 2018 release of a logitech g502 Hero this is an updated version of one Logitech's most popular Mouse and one of my personal favorite mice of all time with the g502 so today in this review we're gonna talk about what's new and you know what are some of the additions to this 2018 version and kind of tie it into the current state

of the g502 four years after its initial release where you can go and check out some products from your favorite tech youtubers the site is updated daily  the site for you I'm gonna love about this is it has all the products we show off in a review real time so you can check it out for yourself connecting you to sites like you

know Amazon Best Buy B and age etc the site is very easy to use and this broke it down into category so you could find the tech you're looking for even check out your boy on there if you want to find out more I'll drop a link for you guys in the description down below it's unbox TV so at first glance the g502 hero isn't gonna look any different from the previous two mice that being the Proteus core and the Proteus Spectrum and that's great cuz you know the expression

if it ain't broke don't fix it and I feel personally the g502 has always been the most comfortable Mouse for me so happy the form factors didn't change now with that being said there are three differences in the g502 hero that are gonna separate it from its past releases and first off is gonna be that brand new hero sensor in this mouse the new optical hero sensor goes from 10000 dpi all the way up to the 16,000 dpi mark now where a lot of people can be able to take

advantage of that no not really but you look at a lot of the companies out there that are putting out gaming mice and 16,000 is kind of like the new standard so this kind of rerelease is gonna kind of refresh that and hit the 16,000 mark like most companies are putting out this is an improvement over the previous g5 o2 sensor which was the Pixar pmw 3366 I believe which only went up to 12,000 for me personally I usually keep my DPI around like 2200 or so that's

what I'm most comfortable with so I'm definitely not gonna be reaching up there's higher marks anytime soon the second change is gonna come along with the cable here this is a redesigned thinner braided cable which is going to aim to prevent any sort of kinking in the cables which did occur and as you can see right here on my previous g502 mice on both of them where I would kind of route it throughout my desk it is there's a major kink going on here you could see the braided part starting to fall along and the cable here is like permanently bent so

with the thinner version of this new cable on this Mouse this is gonna be aimed to hopefully prevent that can't give you guys an update now because this occurred over like three to six months that kink so hopefully that's true the third improvement definitely pretty subtle they just updated their logo on here so he have their current branding on the mouse so now that we have those three changes out of the way let's just talk about the mouse itself in general in case

you're interested in picking it up and you want to find out more about it first off this comes in at 125 grams which is pretty light for a mouse I think but it also comes with these modular weights that you can put in the bottom of it in the sections underneath the mouth to design so you can put those weights in certain areas if you want a heavier Mouse on the bottom or on the front or on the sides it gives you the real control here which is good so by itself 125 grams then all those weights together if you put them all in at once you're gonna add an additional 18

grams with each little weight being 3.6 grams in terms of its design it is free angular kind of a more aggressive looking Gamer mouse it comes in at five point one seven inches long by two point six nine inches wide and sits a one point six two inches tall and the one thing about gaming mice which is different from all other gaming peripherals is this really comes down to your specific preference in what you look for in a mouse so for example with the size of this I

think for me it feels great I have eight inch hands from the tip of my fingertip down to the bottom of my palm so for my fingertip grip which I use while I'm gaming it just feels perfect for me like I feels right at home I don't cramp up or anything and you know if you have larger hands or smaller hands obviously finding a mouse that is the right size and the right weight is gonna be best for you and when I found out like four years ago before I was even doing

YouTube this was released and without that my local Best Buy tried it out and then right from that moment fell in love with it and it just feels great in my hand I'm so used to it so a big thing is you know high-mass designed and how it feels for you on both these sides of the mites there are these rubber textures where your thumb and your pinkies gonna kind of sit and does have this sort of tessellated texture of embedded into it for you enhance grip and on the g502 we have

11 programmable buttons I'll do a sound test now so you can you know check it out now with their quote sniper button that's pretty much gonna be like where this button is right here where your thumbs gonna sit this is going to lower your dpi to the lowest setting that you set it at inside the software and I love this because no matter what game you're playing if you are a

sniper or you're playing as a sniper just getting that really quick adjustment if you're liking to know a high attendee situation you hit that it'll bring it all the way down to the 200 dpi I have it set at it's gonna let me you know really narrow in and get a more precise shot and I've always used that when I'm sniping so people might not use that you can set that to be something else if you like but it's just another reason for me why I always go to this Mouse when I'm gaming so when I plugged it into my PC and started gaming did I notice any changes not necessarily

mainly because I set the DPI from my previous mice to be the same as here and just from the muscle memory over the years I'm using a mouse like this I didn't notice any changes which is good there's the main difference here being that upgraded here a sensor going to 16,000 dpi now with that said with this optical mouse with the previous versions if you were using this on a white surface the mouse would not track at all but I noticed now using this on a white desk or a

notebook it still tracks so if you're someone who has a white mouse pad or you just have a white desktop with no mouse pad it's gonna work fine for you before we wrap this up before I get into my Polly - Logitech we do have an enhanced sort of software now coming with the G hub which just got released alongside the mouse this is where you can go in and change all your DPI settings you're very familiar with you know my software so odds are nothing new to you and with their upgraded G logo on the mouse that is pretty much your only source of RGB lighting

on here you can go in and set it to be a fixed color it could cycle throughout the color spectrum breathe colors in and out but they've also added their screen sampling effect which I thought was pretty interesting and what this does is it pretty much samples colors from on your display and it'll bring it to your mouse so for example if my wallpaper is like a blue it'll light up blue if

I put up a new window on there it'll go white whatever color you have in the certain section of the screen that you choose the sample it'll then reflect that color onto your mouse which is pretty cool not really necessary but it's cool that it does that it's also going to go in and link to the light sync speakers which kind of make this whole screen sampling thing I tell just leave the mice either white or blue when I'm gaming so before we wrap this up I'm gonna take this as an opportunity to talk to Logitech for a minute because I understand a lot of companies out there

where like I said before with the higher end numbers 16,000 DP I mean that the kinda you know refresh it for 2018 which is understandable but as a longtime user and a lover the g502 not the newer one my own custom random

yes you should also put out a white version Logitech if you're listening that'd be great and then the original spectrum here with g502 longtime user I love the mouse and when I heard there was a new g502 coming I was really really really really really hoping for a wireless version I know you guys can do it the G 900 was awesome the G's nano - I believe it was was also great I would absolutely love you guys could

put out a g502 Wireless and that would that make my heart very happy so if you're reviewinthis is my chance to reach out to you guys and say please make this happen

look at the logitech g502 hero if you want to check it out I'll put a link for you in the description down below and one quick note um this is a separate listening on Amazon you could still find the original G 502 for believe it's usually on sale for like  and I believe that newest hero 1 is gonna be released for like  on Amazon so I'll put both the links down

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse with HERO 16K Sensor review

the review on BG 502 hero DS 16k dpi version with the new optical sensor this is the G 502 violence with the hero sensor 16 K optical sensor this is what I was talking about all along it has weight it has a 16 K dpi hero optical sensor and it's valise can you get any better than this I mean this is the everything that I was talking about this is the new best thing from Logitech now the only thing they can do new is I don't want to guess anymore because currently I'm

doing everything exactly as they're planning and I don't know why I'm guessing this brilliantly but I was shocked when I received this for review guys this is it this is this is what we're going to talk about the logitech g502 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse and we're going to open it I'm going to show you some details let's go let's open the box this is completely new not an opened logitech g502 to be honest it couldn't get any better I'm really excited and when I saw the box

and everything I was really really looking forward to doing a review on this one and wow just wow it has a protective foil down below so when you want two of the best sound definitely the best sound and it has so much foil that you enjoy that you might enjoy removing them more than actually playing just kidding of course not and the thing is it looks awesome as usual the g502 standard design it has a very nice looks on the side where you place your small finger and

it it actually has everything the same and this is what Allah will not take patent something and it may look even better even though it's just one less I mean it's everything the same but Varla sent well I'm fascinated by it now let's go and see first the accessory boxes and everything that the box contains well what comes with the mouse now you have the braided cable this time and you have the weights now you have this is a bit different than usual you have four small weights

which each of them weight two grams so that's it and you have two more larger weights that are four grams each so that is basically sixteen at the bottom part where you could place four times two grams of weights above the optical sensor and then the extra two times four grams you can place in this part here so you place one and the second one is right next to it so basically this is it you just place it D magnet pulls it back in you cover the bottom part and that's all there is to

it guys so basically you have 16 grams more to add to your g502 and well it's it's it's very nice and the whole weight without the extra weights is 114 so when you add 14 more 16 more you get 130 now the mouse has left and right click of course and it has a school will which has double scroll options so when you place when you press the button here below the scroll wheel you have a standard school which goes three lines or however you want to adjust think to your

Logitech Gaming software and when you press the button you have the fests ultra fast scrolling so this is really cool and I have it on my 900 it is really handy really nice to have now apart from that you have 9 more buttons actually 7 because they count the left and right click so we have on your thumb you have 1 2 3 you have on your index finger 1 2 and below the button here that you use for switching between the fast cooling and almost normal scrolling you have

dg9 button as well so that's 11 buttons when you include the left and right screw and that is really cool the design is perfect I love the shape and everything it fits perfectly in my hand as I mentioned on the wired version and it has a sub 2 lights so only the G logo here from Logitech lights up and that is quite all right I mean you have the here index for the DPI level which isn't bad it's always good to know on which level you are of course you will notice it by moving the mouse but still it's really cool to have that as well now as I said in the accessory box you get

weights 16 grams more you get deep braided cable you get the adapter and you get the USB dongle for the BIOS receiver in here you also have some manual for how to connected to your PC how to check yeah also the dpi level here also shows you when the battery is almost at the end so probably get these notifications from eulogistic gaming software as well on your desktop so that is also really cool and you get the notification immediately one more thing at the bottom

of the mouse you have the on/off switch so that is also really cool to extend your battery life now I'm going to test D G 502 wireless version without any weights so it's going to be 114 grams pure just Mouse no extra weights it has a lot of pads below because you can see at the top it has one huge mat you have one that circles the bottom G and you have the right here part and be around the optical sensor so basically this mouse guys I mean if you like the g502 and you

wanted to go wireless this is the thing definitely and I'm saying this and I didn't even test it because I'm also fascinated as I said when I got the box and when they said this is for the new review I was like wow man this is something out of this world I can't wait to test it out so guys let's go to battlefield five and sitting game and how it performs , and without a doubt I can definitely say no lag while playing the only thing that you need to adjust is the weight if you

want to and the DPI resolution the one that you're used to and that's all there is to it the mouse fits perfectly in your hand I usually play with the claw grip or sometimes with the palm grip depends on the game depends on the situation and how actually the mouse fits this is the second best mouse for me definitely without a doubt and whoever is thinking of buying the wired version here oh okay it's perfect I have no problems with that one but the Wireless is just

simply no words nothing can explain the mouse that works perfectly and when you're satisfied with definitely everything and you might say there are different mice is for less price that worked perfectly and there are wireless there is just something that you need to take into perspective when it comes to quality performance Wireless and everything that Logitech makes

and invests in its brand in its products then you realized why I'm saying this is a great mouse
