guys what is up welcome back today I'm gonna be doing an in-depth review over my gaming monitor this is the BenQ RL 2 4 6 0 HT this is in my opinion the very best gaming monitor for PlayStation 4 Xbox one Xbox 360 all the consoles that you can imagine this one in my opinion is the most optimized for console gaming we're gonna get a little bit more in depth into the details here in a minute  gaming monitor for ps4 and Xbox one

we helped out a lot of people which is awesome I did have a few questions that popped up a lot in the comment sections that I want to start addressing first before we get too in-depth into the review and the number one concern was is this one prepared for the Xbox one s and the ps4 Pro and the answer is second question is where can you buy this monitor I got it from Amazon I'm gonna leave a link down in the description below you can get a really good deal but these are extremely extremely hard to find in stores like even Best Buy

and Micro Center and places like that don't sell this particular monitor so third question is does it have built-in speakers the answer is yes they're down there on the bottom you can also turn them off if you want to fourth question can you use this monitor without having a PC yes you plug your PlayStation 4 or Xbox directly into the HDMI ports here on the back there is two of them as you can see there are two HDMI IN ports that you use you can have both plugged in

at the same time in depending which console is on you will power that particular console on and it'll switch inputs you also have an HDMI out function now this is probably the I could talk today probably the most important thing on this monitors because you can directly stream your Elgato or Game Capture devices straight out from the monitor which if you're familiar with how this works you would originally have to connect the elgato between the console and the

monitor but what that would add is additional input lag which makes the game a little bit more laggy so that reduces the input lag tremendously because you're streaming directly out from the monitor and not from the console now the third or I can't even count I think this is the fifth question was do you plug your headphones directly into the monitor you can as you see there's a tiny little green jack right there for headphones but if you have like Astros and turtle beach's you plug it up normally like you would on the back on the I forget what that's called is that

digital out is what that is I think it's a digital input you hook it up completely normally just like you would if you weren't using a gaming monitor so yes the monitor is height adjustable it is also tiltable so you can move it up and down I'll try to move it down a little bit without hurting it because I'm only using one arm there we go as you can see can move it up and down I'm gonna go a little bit more in depth into the screen features now this is another thing that makes this monitor very unique we'll go ahead and power on the PlayStation here and we'll go into

some of the picture modes so now you can see we're here inside of the menu and we've got the picture mode this is the key feature of this monitor that adjusts the monitor to what game that you're playing so you've got like a fighting mode and you've got an FPS mode I prefer to keep mine on FPS mode because it lowers and reduces the input lag inside of the monitor I think you get around a 1 millisecond response time at less than 10 milliseconds of input lag when you use

that particular function a big question that I had was how was the colors on this monitor now keep in mind this is a competitive based monitor so the colors aren't like IPS display colors of fur to be completely honest with you so you got to keep that in mind if I do see an IPS version of this monitor that optimizes for color I'll leave a link down in the description below where you can get it but other than that this monitor is designed specifically for eSports and competitive

use so I keep mine on FPS mode for when I'm playing like Call of Duty and Battlefield if you play a lot of fighting games put it on fighting mode but yeah that's essentially how you will use this monitor you can also mute the speakers if you want to you also have what's called a blue light reduction reduction filter that is kind of like having built-in gunner glasses which is really really cool if you're familiar and got our glasses it's supposed to reduce eye strain on the eyes

and it's right here low blue light you can switch that up and that's gonna reduce the blue colors inside of the monitor so you're not like straining your eyes during long gaming session and instant mode is automatically turned on in FPS mode and fighting mode and what that does is that reduces the input lag as well as optimizes the monitor for the fastest response time so those are kind of how the future the features work inside of this monitor if you guys have any
additional questions about the features just leave a comment down below .

the BenQ 2460 monitor and we're going to be playing Ultra Street Fighter 4 which is nice an old-school we also got Street Fighter 5 and my ultimate test whereabouts is I don't know it's fee for 2018 every time that I've played FIFA 2018 on TV you always see motion blur or some sort of ghosting behind it and absolutely is shocking for a gaming experience this monarch should have no leg or nothing like that and should feel like the optimizing gaming experience so it's got

the black equalizer on here it doesn't have any quick Hertz 240 120 whatever I don't know what it's got on there but we're looking to heavily lag and everything like that and this is a licensed by Playstation for themselves or Playstation themselves for PlayStation 4 and up and so far with the screen it's got no like little bits no dead pixels no nothing and it looks pretty clean and stuff it doesn't have the color vibrance on there but it has got the low blue light so if you're worried about like obviously hurting your eyes and playing long hours it's got that on

there as well and the menus are on the side but we'll go through it out afterwards and we're gonna go through the games and check it out but some of the games when I'm checking out certain things because it's flicker free on the camera it won't look like it's flicker free but to us in humans humans in the real life it will look flicker free and it would look really nice but anyway I'm gonna give you my honest opinion and I'm just going to just play Street Fighter

ultra forum playing it online right now everything looks pretty snazzy I'm used to playing this on the TV constantly connected oh yeah also the morning that has got speakers as well so that's what you can hear this at a low volume so if I turn it up so I've got to go into the menu , down to audio then middle button and then middle button again then up it's a ton of money mop ah I am playing this dude it's got nowhere ception so kick player sorry I don't know where

you kick clothes but his reception is pointless anyway in the menu you can turn up the audio you can mute the audio and what's this audio step didn't see that over there that's it you can all do detect it so you can play through hydrogen wire or food PlayStation or through like a gaming headset like player Plantronics or something like that and then you can never sit up that's pretty cool as soon as well again corkscrew if pinky blinders he's our people and this way , right I'm gonna give up one Street far ultra ultra street far for we go Street fire

fire because it's taking ages to get anyone so hopefully that might work so I've changed the settings a little bit more to a bit more of a black see what we get what else we've got picture mode change - oh that's cool so at the moment I've actually got it on fighting there is an option for fighting so I'll just leave it on there how's going on don't try and get a bigger oh my god I can't move I , know I don't mind playing you again because I will beat you I can't

remember the moves now take a take a peek at this this is fee for 18 now I'll play this on a TV on a 4k TV like real expensive premium 4k this is only 1920 by 1080 and this is only made for the PlayStation yeah it looks exactly the same it looks really fricking clear looks like I can get Ronaldo through the screen so I might just do that you know like that for food drinks that get it driving about you know the main I'm just joking don't have to look so , yeah it looks

really really crisp that's what I can say there's no actually before I even talk about it doesn't really clean and nice and everything but I want to actually play the pitch if I don't see me blow on it I'm going to leave a link in the description down below just used to go and purchase it just buy it this is a weird-looking dude but yeah just go and buy it because it's definitely going to be worth it let's have a quick game let's just play oh it's clean can see what the blades of grass than

that come on please please no motion blur whoa so far so good , yes no motion blur whatsoever the experience is real ladies and gentlemen this is a good month I'll definitely link in the description down below to buy this now last game injustice - I haven't played this game since it came out on launch day and I'd come and when that was but yeah I'll probably get more but works by of completely do and eat then yeah looks good just buy it links in

description now this games quite a dark game so I might improve to blacks in it because certain things you can't see very well in it but yeah that's pretty cool I'm speechless speechless definitely worth - screen played all these games it feels like a whole new 1920 1920 by 1080 resolution it just feels like a whole different story and the flexes as well that you can do this in portrait mode as well if I bring them on a little bit closer I've got all your games in the way so you can go into portrait mode it's got tilt it's got backwards till it's got left it's got right it just

moves really smoothly if you can get the screen up and down it's it's like a professional down screen really easy to put together it's got the black equalizer on there it's got all like you've got speakers built into the actual monitor itself this is 24 inches in you've got no dead pixels you've got no blur at the bottom of the panel it just looks like a premium panel and I saw like what I say about it is made to play on console loads of people been saying in the comments oh you've

got that money can i play my xbox or playstation and I get freaking can't but you know you can you can play it on there but now this is actually made for consoles but you can also put a PC in this it's got I should have a DVI out HDMI is well if I remember right more obviously HDMI well so we've got so we've got a DVI out we've got two hdmi and displayport vga headphone jack and you can plug in your speakers as well into the actual monitor so that it's so sick and

it's only 209 pound if I remember rightly links in description definitely go go and order it I'll definitely give this a nine probably in nine and a half out of ten it is really really awesome so well done thank you and Zoe Zoe thank you this is a great money plus you get loads of stuff as well with it and like all the cables they give you everything canned stuff and the cables you know but ya know RGB straight for performance that but one thing I would change is like the menu the minis not too bad but I just I don't know after playing with the 2460 Excel or Excel

2460 I just prefer that monitor but yeah that's just me anyway if you've got loads of Settings standard movie photo RGB eco mode you've got RTS got game or one game or two game of three and it all looks good it really looks good if you're playing those really dark games you're going to be able to see people and pick them out really quite quickly and but I don't really want to go through all the menu properly on this screen because it might start flickering but it's also

flicker free as well if you want so you know and then you've got the brightness contrast sharpness instant mode for gamers black utilise a low blue light so it doesn't hurt your eyes and stuff like that when you're playing it for a long period of time so let me scroll down what else we've got we've got color temperature you can have normal bluish reddish well user-defined and that's what you want to have your custom mode for so if you like I'd you know what I want

I have a little bit of black in there and a bit of more contrast and a bit more white and I want a bit of a rich reddish tone you can do and then if we go into here it's got the sensor since I live demo so if I just click on that real quickly where we go see this is what I don't like this menu as much just confusing the hell out of me white so let's turn this on quickly so that shows you a

since I demo so this is what I've got now this is what you could have you can change it up you've got a dynamic contrast which is good I've asked and display mode HTM RGB PC range all they detect you going all on there definitely it worth purchasing .

BenQ ZOWIE RL2460S 24 inch 1080p Gaming Monitor review

let me paint a picture for you so you are a budding eSports competitor you go to either your particular game of choices competition maybe you're fighting a player a csgo player or called your player any type of competitor you'll go to your tournaments and there's something that you're probably going to see it's possible that you're going to see a BenQ monitor set up at all your stations to do you're competing on maybe it's possible that you as a consumer and as a

competitor want to do your training at home also on the same type of monitor you'll do the very same competing at these tournaments well today we're going to review the za we've been qril 2460 monitors that are perfectly set up for head-to-head matches and we're gonna go over all the fine-tune details and we're gonna go over why this would be good for you to have in your house and why it's also good maybe you're a tournament organizer what the benefits of this

monitor are guys and this is a  review on the Zowie Ben Q RL 2460 okay so the first thing you're probably going to want to know are the details of the specs of the monitor what you're going to get when you make the purchase for this so let's go over all the nitty-gritty of course you're gonna have a 24 inch screen that's going to be a 16 by 9 1080p LCD display light weight monitor so it's not really gonna break your back especially if you're taking

it to and fro different competitions for ports you've got some standard ports you're looking at a dual HDMI input a single HDMI output that will be perfect for your streaming and going to head-to-head here you're looking at a DVI D and D sub connectors as well as a headphone jack right on the monitor itself and then of course this puppy is stock full a deep menu system with five context-sensitive menu buttons for easy menu navigation of course we have reflection

reducing mat bezel and screen finish as well as 110 millimeter telescopic neck which comes with a 45 degree swole based 90 degree monitor pivot smooth monitor tilt and you're looking at VESA wall-mounting plus what I think is super cool it's a really insignificant detail but your monitor LED light is on the side which is really kind of out of the realm of you so a lot of times the monitors have like your power lights that are right on the front blinding you to death right

from there but they were conscious enough to put it on the side out of you and I just think it's a cool touch so now let's get in a little bit more of the nitty-gritty of the stat so you're looking at 60 Hertz refresh rate which is optimized exclusively for eSports it's perfect for console but it might not meet some of your needs if you're a PC gamer something to think about you also have a point 26 pixel pitch which makes for optimal clearing if you're at close distance which

you would be at a competition this monitor also comes with a 1 millisecond gray to gray some other things that you might want to consider is this also has smart screen scaling for resolution scaling if that's something that's important to you as well of course has built-in speakers the speakers and our testings weren't very impressive but of course if you're using this monitor you're probably gonna be using headphones with it and I think they knew that so they didn't

put a lot of work into the speakers but it's inconsequential for the type of monitor that it is when you get into the robust menus and settings there's a lot of stuff you're gonna find here including head-to-head combat set up fight game FPS settings and that's an exclusive preset that you're gonna get that I think is probably gonna appeal to a lot of you that are watching this video you're also gonna get low blue light for extended viewing you know for your precious

eyeballs you're gonna get good scaling black equalizers flicker free and a complete control of the wide RGB color levels you also get FPS and other fgc presets so this isn't just for flight game fans though there is some nice settings for that so there are a ton of options built into the settings of this so really you could just go through and tune it to whatever suits your particular needs as a player of course that doesn't necessarily mean that if you're gonna go to your local or

you're gonna go to Evo or you're gonna go to any other tournament that those settings are gonna be the exact same on their monitors but you can mimic the settings that they have to train specifically or match your specific style of play so of course the biggest selling point to these monitors is its head to head functionality meaning if you have two monitors you can effectively play head-to-head with your friend without both of you needing to look at the same screen boom boom but what better way to really showcase to you how easy it is to set that up

than with a classic r24 80s montage , so it really comes down to who is this monitor for now if of course let's talk about the price point so you can get this monitor on Amazon thereabouts now we were in discussions with Ben Q and they sent us a couple of these so we could try this monitor out and do this review now you're always gonna run into quality issues the the risk of quality issues when you are buying monitors online and having them sent to you one of the two monies we got did have some dead pixel issues going on on the other ones the

other one was perfectly fine so keep that in mind when making your purchases but that's not a fault on Ben Q that's just something that happens with monitors all the time just something that I want to keep on your forefront of your mind one of our monitors did have a dead pixel but you're as likely well not it's just a thing that happens when you buy monitors but really who is this monitor for is this for you well it depends you have to ask yourself a couple of questions

of what kind of gamer are you are you a competitive gamer now I myself I'm a casual gamer I like to sit on my couch I like to play my games in a casual setting feet up go off myself into story modes and really just get at it and when I am playing competitive games like fighters or shooters or something like that it's still in a very casual sense I have had my moments where I do go to tournaments and those have been fun moments but it's not a passion of mine so as just a casual gamer would I still buy this well then in some senses yes because it is a nice quality

monitor where you would go virtually lag free play that is essential but really this is hammering home if you're a competitive gamer then this is an excellent monitor for you because your can mimic their tournament settings right within your home to really I mean when you are come train again getting ready for a competition you want to have the most accurate settings possible and why not do that with the monitor that you'll be playing on likely at these tournaments so that's really what hammers at home the head-to-head setup is good if maybe you are running

your local and you're trying to get something set up will the head-to-head action as you saw in our montage is very easy to set up and works perfectly there's the the we had zero problems when we were setting everything up mean go ready to play against each other in that casual setup it was really cool but so really I would say if you're the weekend warrior or you're training for competitions all the way through then yes this monitor is absolutely worth every

penny that you could find it for if you're just a casual gamer that really just depends on what kind of quality you want because again this is not a 4k monitor with HDR settings so if you wanted to take advantage of your Playstation pro or you wanted to take advantage of your xbox 1x maybe this isn't the mana to do that but if you're training to go to Evo or you're training to do your next Call of Duty tournament or whatever and you're really serious about

competing in video games in eSports then absolutely this monitor is for you I have zero qualms with it - the only really only negative downside we had was the dead pixel issue then we had one of the two monitors and that was the only downside we had otherwise the functionality the menu settings are so robust and exciting and it's just the build quality is really really nice and I couldn't recommend it more if it fits your style so guys anyway that is our review of the Zowie

BenQ RL 2460 head to head at monitor setup pretty cool thing I was excited about doing this review shoutouts to Ben Q for working with us and getting these monitors to us so we could do that and of course.

RL 2460 console gaming monitor when you think console gaming the first thing that springs to mind is a shiny new ps4 or Xbox one sitting next to a giant big-screen TV with HD and UHD TV is becoming more and more affordable it's easy to understand why but what about those highly competitive console gamers that want the very best color reproduction and complete control over picture reproduction all those that enjoy the intensity of a live versus tournament

of Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat sometimes the big-screen TV isn't always what you'll be wanting as your chosen battleground platform well thank you has you covered with the RL 2460 range of console gaming targeted monitors we managed to get our hands on not one but two of these bad boys for some testing and we were pleasantly surprised let's kick things off

with a rundown of the RL 2460 specs and what to expect out of the box unpacking the RL 2460 we get a no-nonsense kit with a sturdy stand base a box of accessories including an AC power cable vga cable and HDMI cable user manual and driver CD and of course the RL 2460 monitor itself so let's have a little bit of a look at the specs on the RL 2460 and it packs quite a punch for a 24 inch 1080p monitor hitting all the key features you'll be looking for specifically

from a console perspective we can see that one millisecond greater gray response time dynamic contrast ratio of twelve million to one 1080p resolution on a TN panel and visa warm out compatibility make it a pretty good match for a lot of gamers we'll be looking for on top of that list of special features is some real gems with black equalizer low blue light and the very interesting head-to-head into combat setup but more on that shortly let's take a bit of a look

through the design of the RL 2460 itself and look I'll be honest the aesthetics of the monitor aren't the sleekest or the prettiest with a significantly sized bezel and that finish the monitor looks and feels a little bulky with that said it's unlikely you'll be looking to use these monitors in a triple screen setup for hardcore PC gaming anyway please note there are 60 Hertz refresh rate so not really an issue here now the rest of the design and build quality is impeccable as you

would expect from BenQ zowie a sturdy and reasonably heavy base means excellent stability and the stand has all the adjustability you'll be wanting with -5 degrees to 15 degree tilt a 110 millimeter height adjustment and rotation for portrait setup the RL 2460 also features a precision scale system on the stand which is really just a fancy way of saying there's alignment notches on the stand itself making it super simple to replicate your desired setup perfectly every

time a fantastic feature that should be on all standard monitors the screen itself comes with a nice matte finish to minimize glare and reflections and works pretty well but let's have a bit of a look at the panel itself so the are L 24 60 uses a 24 inch matte TN panel with an LED backlight and features a one millisecond greater grade response time when enabling a ma which has advanced motion accelerator with a native resolution of 1080p which is 1920 by 1080 pixels it

also services 720p due to its 16 by 9 aspect ratio the refresh rate is set for 60 Hertz which is enough for console gamers but may prove a little lacking to series PC gamers that demand more frames let's touch on the on-screen display a little now so on top of common controls such as brightness contrast and various color optimization settings the RL 2460 offers some advanced features for games including smart scaling black equalizer and the previously

mentioned AMA the inclusion of a low blue light setting to reduce eye fatigue is also a welcome inclusion for those that spend inordinate amounts of time in front of the monitor the on-screen display side buttons are sturdy and well laid out for easy use with nice tactile feedback ensuring navigation is simple and easy you'll need to be slightly patient to wait for the button click to register on the on screen display menus however this is standard across pretty much every

model I've ever used now a little bit about the performance of the monitor itself the RL 2460 features several picture modes including standard movie photo srgb eco I TS one RTS two fighting FBI and there's three separate gamer profiles to customize to your liking the most interesting edition with the pitch presets is the inclusion of the fighter preset which increases the level of blue that's displayed on the screen this preset seems too significant and affects the other colors on the screen and under fighting game-mode the grayscale appears with a

significant green tint I personally wouldn't recommend the setting but to each their own you'll also have access to dynamic contrast saturation sharpness as well as individual RGB settings the tailor the image to your own preferences out of the block the pitcher modes were the best balance of color are easily the standard and the srgb presets most of the other picture modes appear to me to be either to red to blue or of a skewed gamma in general however with pretty

much every aspect of the image available for manipulation you'll be easily able to get the exact style you prefer one additional feature to note is the inclusion of dual - what speakers do into the rear of the monitor itself more often than not built-in monitor speakers are terrible and unfortunately the same holds true with the RL 2460 if you have absolutely no other alternative they'll do in a pinch but this would definitely not be a recommended audio source for any

length of time so now let's have a look at the HDMI output or the head-to-head combat system as bankers our promote it one of the more unique features off the bother RL 2460 is the addition of this HDMI output this is designed to duplicate the image on the source monitor to any other screen desire with HDMI input and with zero lag we tested this out using a second RL 2460 and playing Mortal Kombat X to the naked eye we couldn't detect any latency issues

or input lag at all a perfect mirror image and reproduction of the source screen display what we also liked about this HDMI output is its ability to be used with external capture devices like the elgato hd60 mi signal to your capture device without worrying about causing latency by connecting the device before the primary monitor so overall the RL 2460 is a robust versatile on high quality 1080p 24-inch gaming monitor for console gamers that need that edging

competitive gaming the addition of a HDMI out port is fantastic if you're really in a head-to-head flight a challenge or capture a lot of console gameplay PC enthusiasts may bulk of the 60 Hertz refresh rate limitation but even so it's a capable monitor with excellent ergonomics and customization coming in  it's not the cheapest 1080p monitor however it does tend to trade blows easily with much more expensive brands and gives you a

number of unique features only available from Vancouver our way if you're looking for a specific monitor for console gaming it really doesn't get much better than the RL 2460 I would also like to thank Dan from Ben Q for providing d1 DLC with the bank use re RL 2460 gaming monitors for the purposes of this review we really appreciate it so thanks .
